Description

Pra dal Lares is a place where my family has decided to live for three generations. It is a place of traditions and hospitality, where guests are always welcome. It is a refuge for those seeking serenity. At Pra da Lares, you can rest, listen to the silence, and start your day with a tasty breakfast of homemade natural bread, pastries, and carefully prepared jams from our family farm. The Val di Non is worth experiencing in all seasons. You can hike in the nearby Brenta Dolomites, Maddalene, or to the numerous mountain huts surrounding the entire Val di Non. You can visit Castel Thun, Castel Valer, Castel Nanno, and Castel Belasi, the marvelous Lake Tovel, the small lakes of Coredo, Lake Smeraldo, and the canyons. Trento, the city of the Council, awaits you with its museums and cultural offerings. In winter, ski on the slopes of Paganella, Folgarida, and Madonna di Campiglio or snowshoe along the numerous trails amidst the quiet of the woods. In December, the Christmas markets fill the cities of the region with atmosphere, as well as numerous small villages. Reach us by bike or motorcycle, through the mountain passes and scenic routes. Breakfast

Breakfast at Pra da Lares is an important moment where I prepare with love and care what you are about to eat with my own hands.

Bread
I knead and bake the bread myself, often in a wood-fired oven. I choose organic flours from local mills, mainly the Pezzini Mill in Sarnonico. For the leavening, I use my sourdough, which is much more digestible and natural than industrial yeast.

Jams
The fruit you find in the jams comes from the trees surrounding the house, which give us cherries, plums, apricots, peaches, apples, pears, blackberries, strawberries, red and black currants. Over the years, together with my husband, we have tried to diversify what the orchard can offer us, so there are many different varieties. You can also buy the jams I produce from me. The fruit is not treated with chemicals. Jams are available for you, just ask me for information and price list.

Cakes and cookies
Cakes are the most fun part for me, they are delicious and allow me to be creative. I use local flour and butter, but the most important ingredient for me is the eggs, which I collect fresh every day from my henhouse.

Elderflower syrup
The Pra da Lares breakfast is accompanied all year round by this syrup, which quenches your thirst in summer and, with its perfume, brings back memories of summer in winter. I pick the elderflowers from the plants in my garden and at the edge of the surrounding woods. I make it as my grandmother Carolina taught me.

My name is Nely and in 2019, I decided to open my B&B Pra da Lares. I am always on the move and I love nature and the land. I am delighted to welcome you to my home, which is also my birthplace. It is the house where I grew up and where I decided to return as an adult. The B&B allows me to meet, welcome, and pamper my guests, knowing that I am making their stay in my home enjoyable.

Really a great surprise, immersed in silence this villa with a private parking space and a well-kept garden where in the morning we had a wonderful and good breakfast with products all homemade by the B&B owner. The room and the bathroom were very clean and comfortable (the bed and shower in particular). The quality-price ratio is really very good. If we were to return to that area, it will certainly be the first B&B we contact for a quote.

If you are looking for sophistication, taste, and attention to detail, you are in the right place. The owner Nelly, with her kindness and discretion, knows how to welcome guests and is very helpful in listening to their requests and curiosities. I highly recommend it. Amazing breakfast both in the genuineness of the products and in how it is presented, you won't find the hasty plastic American placemats or disposable napkins!!! It's up to you to discover... Pleasant discovery, we felt pampered from the first moment we arrived. Breathtaking view, breakfasts with cakes and brioches personally prepared by the owner Nely, always very kind, and very clean and tidy rooms. Experience to try and try again!

Absolutely recommended! The B&B Pra da Lares is brand new, furnished in a simple yet tasteful way and cared for in every detail, both inside and outside. It is located in a strategic position (not even 15 minutes from the Trento nord exit) for those who want to visit the Val di Non, but not only. Our room was not very spacious, but it had a super bathroom! A very comfortable, wide shower and above all never any problems with adjusting water pressure/temperature (which is not so obvious to me). In the room, there is also a mini fridge and everything needed to prepare a good cup of tea. On the balcony, there is also a small table and chairs to sit and enjoy the magnificent view. The owner is a treasure, kind, helpful, and caring, and personally prepares everything we ate for breakfast. Everything, from bread to sweets to jams, is homemade with local ingredients. The rooms are cleaned and tidied daily, and with the room keys, you also get the keys to the automatic gate to enter and exit without problems. The parking is indoor and very convenient. If we were to return to Trentino, we will definitely come back here!
