Villa Morgante is your home on Mount Etna, surrounded by the greenery of the Etna Park but not far from the center of Pedara and only 300 meters from the renowned Heart Center of the Morgagni Clinic.
The name Morgante comes from the eponymous character of the Chanson de Roland and L'Orlando Furioso, a good giant who was first an enemy and then a close friend of Orlando.
These books and stories are at the heart of one of UNESCO's Sicilian heritage sites, the Sicilian Puppet Theatre.
Our Bed & Breakfast was completely renovated in 2013 and is surrounded by pine and eucalyptus trees.
It is the ideal place for those who love nature and tranquility.
Thanks to its strategic location between the highest active volcano in Europe, now a UNESCO heritage site, the Ionian coast and the city of Catania, Villa Morgante is the ideal solution for both mountain and sea lovers.
In just 20 minutes by car, you can reach the Nicolosi ski lifts, which allow lovers of winter sports and high-altitude trekking to quickly ascend to the summit areas of Etna.
Villa Morgante offers its guests excursions to visit the most important and characteristic tourist and naturalistic places of central-eastern Sicily and to taste the best food and wine specialties: Etna, Taormina, Alcantara Valley, Catania, Syracuse, Pantalica, Piazza Armerina.
We have six rooms, three of which have a private bathroom, and all rooms offer free wireless internet access, autonomous heating and air conditioning, as well as a flat-screen TV.
In the common areas, you can enjoy a large living room with a fireplace, an internet station equipped with a fax and printer, a breakfast area with a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and coffee machine. A small kitchen can be used by guests for special needs. Outside, there is a terrace, a private garden, and a wooded park with a children's playground and relaxation areas.
In the morning, you will be served a traditional Italian sweet breakfast buffet, but you can also request a continental or typical English breakfast.
A supermarket, restaurants, and bars are within walking distance, and the Etnapolis and Le Zagare shopping centers, complete with a multiplex cinema, are just a few minutes' drive away.
If you need transfers to reach us or to move around nearby, you can take advantage of our shuttle services.

The Italian breakfast is a buffet that is not included in the price and can also be requested the night before. It costs €4.00 per person and includes milk, coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, various types of tea, barley, almond milk, fruit juices, plum cake, croissants, biscuits, sliced bread, cereals, cakes, butter, jam, and honey. We can also serve savory or English breakfast for different prices, which need to be agreed upon. Guests have access to breakfast tables, a refrigerator, a kettle, a coffee maker, and a microwave. The dining area is also available for guests to consume meals that can be ordered from restaurants or pizzerias we have agreements with. The dining area includes a kitchenette that guests can use.

We stayed with our family of two adults and three children aged 11, 9 and 8 for 9 days. We had a wonderful stay. Mrs. Annamaria, very kind and welcoming, was always ready to give suggestions to make the most of the holiday in this beautiful and peaceful place. We gladly followed them. Nice property, the ideal location to visit Mount Etna and the surrounding towns. The owner, Mrs. Anna Maria, is very friendly and helpful. Everything is very clean. She recommended places to eat and interesting tourist itineraries.

I can't say enough about Annamaria, the owner, who was a talented artist, a fabulous cook, and one of the nicest people we met in Sicily. Extremely helpful and advised us in so many ways.\n\nUpscale but typical B&B as opposed to a hotel. On a scale of 1 to 10, Villa Morgante is an 11. Will definitely return again.
