Description
The B&B structure "the two Palms" is a small villa built on two levels, situated a few steps from the seafront promenade of Isola delle Femmine (Pa). in front of one of the most important bathing beaches next to public beach facilities that can be reached through a private path.
Upstairs it has 2air-conditioned bedrooms, 1 bathrooms with shower, adjacent to the bedrooms, a large living room with dining area.
From a large shared terrace you can enjoy a landscape that stretches from Punta Raisi to Capo Gallo and the view out of sight of the long beaches of Isola and Capaci. with its characteristic islet from which it takes its name.
Inside the Villa reserved parking place.
The B&B service includes breakfast, tidying of rooms, cleaning bathrooms, change of linen.

From the harbor you can embark on a particular fishing vessel for a fishing trip; this boat has a transparent bottom walls from which you can make a "virtual" dive two meters in depth sitting comfortably and enjoying the view of the beautiful waters of the marine reserve.
You can also take a dip in the beautiful waters near the little island, bathe in the nearby reserve “Capo Gallo” next to the famous resort of Mondello.
You can have lot of evening fun: in summer, at night the numerous sundeck made on the cliff near the sea become elegant pubs, where you can entertain and dance.
What to taste?
At reasonable price you can taste seafood in the many restaurants of the place, have great pizzas and delicious refreshing ice creams.
Moreover, at the marina every morning you make find the market of the fish caught at night.
Last but not the least you can try our renowned street food: pani ca meusa, pane e panielli. Arancini, stigghioli, quarumi, u sfinciuni), the typical Palermo cuisine: pasta chi sardi pasta cà nciova and muddica, pasta chi vrocculi arriminata) and typical sweets (the cannoli, the cassata, the sfincia).
What to see
Isola delle Femmine is a beautiful seaside village just minutes from Punta Raisi airport "Falcone Borsellino" and 10 km from the city of Palermo, easily accessible by bus service and Metro Line Trenitalia.
Thanks to its favorable position from Isola you can make interesting excursions to the nearby resorts of Monreale, Mondello, the shrine of the Palermo Patron Saint Santa Rosalia on Pellegrino Mountain.
You can also visit the archaeological sites in the province of Trapani, Segesta, Selinunte, or other famous beaches such as San Vito Lo Capo, Castellammare del Golfo, Mazara del Vallo, Sciacca, Agrigento and Cefalù.

• the feast of the patron saint of the village "Holy Mary of Grace" which takes place on July 2
• The saga of fried fish (free tasting of local fish in the village square) on the last Sunday of August)
• the procession of Easter in the nearby town of Capaci.
• The Fair of the Dead on November 2, with the features stalls with colorful marzipan fruits and "sugar dolls" reproductions of classic paladins made in sugar and then painted.
• the feast of Santa Rosalia held in Palermo on July 15.

Excellent location and really just a stone's throw from the sea. The center of Isola delle Femmine is a bit far away but the seafront with bars and restaurants of Capaci is quite close (5 minutes on foot). The Owner is a delightful and very helpful person, especially in telling the story of the places and characters. He accompanies you for free with his car to visit the historical and famous places in the area, including the events and places dedicated to the massacre of Capaci and those related to Peppino Impastato. He takes you to the fish markets and local producers. Besides taking you to the port for trips with the fishermen. Truly unique kindness and courtesy!

Favoloso B&B con ampio panorama antistante al mare, con camere grandi e ben tenute. Il proprietario Pippo Mauro e il figlio molto gentili e disponibili a qualsiasi orario, persone veramente uniche.

Struttura quasi nuova e come da foto; posto macchina in spazio chiuso. Il gestore, sig. Pippo, molto gentile e disponibile; ci ha portati anche a fare un giretto al porto dove alcuni pescatori vendevano il pesce da loro appena pescato. Abbiamo accettato la soluzione di colazione c/o Bar nelle vicinanze (buona), perché le altre soluzioni erano di preparacela da soli o da loro.
Non so come avvenga il pagamento fra struttura e B&B, ma noi non abbiamo visto nessuna ricevuta. Eravamo stati informati che la struttura non ha il POS, quindi niente carte di Credito, ma contanti o assegni.
Questo non ci è piaciuto.

Grazie grazie e ancora grazie..soggiorno piacevolissimo, consigliato dall'amico Simone L. che ringrazio ancora.. siamo arrivati in bus che a nostra insaputa ci ha fermato a qualche km da Isola e subito il titolare del B&B, Pippo, ci è venuto a prendere, subito ci ha dimostrato una grande ospitalità.
La Villa è in mezzo al verde, davanti il lungomare, stupendo fare l'ottima colazione, (con torte fatte in casa) nella ampia terrazza guardando il mare e fare due chiacchere con Pippo Mauro che ci illustra perfettamente le bellezze del posto, e con discrezione ci spiega dove andare, cosa visitare, dove mangiare ristoranti pizzerie ecc che lui personalmente prima di consigliare prova, ovviamente facciamo molte domande su tutto e lui ha tutte le risposte,..lo adoro dico..bagno grande, camera climatizzata, ma bastava il ventilatore a soffitto, ottimo letto e biancheria pulita, ringrazio anche il figlio Filippo Mauro per tutto.
C'è posto auto e la spiaggia è a due passi, costi contenuti e perfetta base per girare la Sicilia.. abbiamo trovato anche una bella compagnia di Treviso con la simpaticissima Sabrina, un saluto anche alla cara moglie Brigida, siamo stati fortunati a conoscere la famiglia Mauro resta nel cuore e spero di tornarci presto..grazie.

Structure très bien située, avec une belle vue sur la mer et à proximité de l'autoroute ce qui permet de se déplacer facilement sans en avoir, pour autant, les nuisances.

Luogo fantastico dove trascorrere piacevoli momenti di relax. Struttura dotata di tutte le comodità necessarie a soddisfare ogni esigenza.
Pulizia e confort al massimo livello; spettacolare la vista che si può ammirare dall'immenso balcone situato al primo piano, svegliarsi al mattino e godere del privilegio di osservare il panorama da quel preciso punto non ha prezzo.
Come poi non menzionare la cortesia e l'estrema disponibilità del signor Pippo, attento a curare ogni dettaglio e a far sentire "ospiti" e non semplici clienti.
Tutto meraviglioso.

Un posto dove rilassarsi e dimenticare le fatiche e i pensieri negativi accumulati durante l'anno. L'ospitalità e gentilezza del signor Pippo, la fantastica vista che si può godere dalla terrazza che da verso il mare, la posizione strategica dove tutto e molto vicino aeroporto, Palermo, Mondello e tanto altro ti introducono in quella che è una propria e vera vacanza. Lo consiglio a tutti perché ciò che è scritto rispecchia la verità a differenza di molte altre strutture. Ancora un sentito grazie di cuore a Pippo e famiglia a presto. Angelo, Piera e Michele.

La posizione della struttura è magnifica, la pulizia è impeccabile, il gestore non è un gestore ma un amico, che ti aiuta in qualsiasi cosa tu abbia bisogno e anche una persone che ti consiglia i posti migliori da visitare e i ristoranti migliori dove andare a mangiare.
Lo consiglio a tutti.

Il gentilissimo Pippo ci ha accolti in casa sua come un padre, mettendoci a disposizione la struttura e facendoci da Cicerone per il paese. Ci ha inoltre inserito prontamente in una fantastica gita in barca dove abbiamo potuto godere le meraviglie del posto. Unico peccato: essere rimasti solo per una notte! Consiglio per tutti i visitatori: affrettatevi a prenotare, Pippo è un grande e la struttura è una villa molto carina dotata di tutti i comfort.

Io e mio marito siamo ancora qui. Ottimo trattamento. Pippo è molto gentile e anche la sua famiglia. Stamattina addirittura ci ha fatto trovare i cannoli siciliani. Buonissimi. Che dire, fantastica!
Voto 10 su tutta la linea.
Ha soddisfatto a pieno le aspettative di tutte e noi 6 ragazze, dalla colazione con annessi cannoli e torta, alla posizione a 100 metri dal mare, ai ristoranti di isola dove mangiare a comunque la posizione comoda per girare (noi solo Mondello causa poco tempo, ma come posizione è ottima) senza troppa confusione.
Il proprietario Pippo è solo un valore aggiunto, anzi un valore che fa arrivare al voto 10 la struttura e l'intera esperienza.

Abbiamo passato 8 notti in questo B&B e ci siamo trovati benissimo. la struttura é esattamente come appare dalle foto e dalle descrizioni che si trovano su questo sito. la posizione é a dir poco strategica essendo vicinissima al mare di Isola (si raggiunge a piedi in 1 minuto), a 10 km da Palermo, 5 da Mondello, un oretta da trapani, e a due passi dalla splendida costa nord ovest siciliana (Castellamare, SanVito lo Capo, la Riserva dello Zingaro, Scopello etc).
I gestori del B&B (Pippo e la sua famiglia) sono cordialissimi e sempre disponibili ed essendo della zona ci han consigliato i posti giusti dove cenare, acquistare varie prelibatezze locali e visitare in genere.
Questo B&B ha tutto ciò che si possa desiderare per passare una splendida vacanza in Sicilia.

Mio marito ha trovato questo B&B su internet, abbiamo soggiornato tre settimane. Spesso su internet le foto non rispecchiano la realtà, ma nel nostro caso è stata un ottima scelta.
La struttura è ben tenuta, spaziosa e pulita; fantastica la terrazza dove facendo colazione si può ammirare uno splendido e suggestivo panorama, alla sera, al calar del sole, si assiste ad un fantastico tramonto.
La posizione è ottima perché fronte mare, basta attraversare un campo adibito a parcheggio auto per tuffarsi nelle splendide acque di Isola; inoltre la posizione è comoda anche per raggiungere in pochi minuti Palermo, Mondello, Cefalù, Terrasini, ecc.
Con i proprietari, sempre disponibili e gentili, abbiamo subito instaurato un ottimo rapporto, in poche parole ti fanno sentire a casa tua.
Ottimo il rapporto qualità\prezzo, ci sono tutti i confort necessari per godersi una bella e rilassante vacanza.
Cos’altro posso aggiungere, io qui ho lasciato il cuore,è la promessa di tornare, perché sarà come ritornare a casa.
PS. Ci tengo a scrivere, che i proprietari non hanno avuto alcun problema ad ospitare il mio cagnolino, beh anche la Luna si e affezionata a loro.
