If you like cackles, dins, smog, confusion not to continue to read, because Villa Almoezia it is not the place for you.

A few minutes from the historical center of Taormina, attainable through a staircase set in the rock with sight breathtaking, under the Saracen castle and to few footsteps from the Sanctuary of the Madonna of the Mountain there is a romantic panning oasis "of coolness and of silences" interrupted only from the tweet of the birds and from the rustle of the branches to the wind.

In the garden of 2000 mqs pertinence of Villa Almoezia nearby to grapevines, Saracen fig trees, cherries, citrus fruit, almond tree, prugne, olives tree and mediterranean flora, among perfumed essences of bouganvilles and jasmines there is the guesthouse, wath it is formed by five rooms with bath incluted, Sicilian typical furnishing for a comfortable stay, bed linen and bath linen, garden furnishings, conditioned air, solarium, barbecue and swimming pool.

The Villa doesn't also have only the merit of the quiet, but also that of the maximum privacy. It is an unique place, the place had a preference for by the couples that they seek calm and from those people who want to intensely live all the occasions of fun that offers the worldly Taormina. Villa Almoezia it is an alfway between a bed and breakfast and an agriturismo with the conveniences of a hotel.

Sebastiano is very nice and speaks good French. He gives good advice for visiting the city. Unheated pool with a magnificent view of the sea and the city. The accommodation is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. Room quite dark and the lighting at the shower level is weak.

Simple terraced accommodation above Taormina. You can reach the center on foot in 20 minutes via a steep staircase. The view is breathtaking and the host is very friendly and helpful.

Fabulous, very welcoming and relaxing environment. Views and location above the town are fantastic. Bus stop within 100 meters to beach or town felt like private service. Family who run things are so nice and chilled. Pool is great. Overall rustic and relaxing.

We booked a room for one night. The room was clean, spacious, and very tastefully decorated. There was a small refrigerator with a bottle of water inside. Hygiene items and a hairdryer were provided. The Villa Almoezia is located above the center of Taormina. The view and the tranquility are amazing! The small but nice pool provides the necessary refreshment. You are surrounded by nature. If you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle and tourism, this is the right place. To go down to the center, there is a staircase, it takes about 20 minutes. To go back up, we took a taxi (20€), and there is also a bus until 21:30. We were very satisfied with everything and will definitely come back someday.

Bed and breakfast should come with breakfast. We had to pay an extra 6 euros for breakfast, which made no sense. We ended up paying so much money for poor accommodation.

The perfect stay in Taormina! We just finished an amazing weeks stay with Sebastiano in Villa Almoezia. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with open arms. Sebastiano showed us around and gave us lots of helpful tips about the area. The location is absolutely stunning up on the hills of Madonna Della Rocca. The views from the property are incredible. We stayed in a suite and it was beautiful. It had a lovely terrace outside to enjoy a glass of wine. The room itself was very Italian and cute! It was cleaned every day and fresh towels were always left. It had a lovely powerful shower and great air con too. The pool is very peaceful and there is a nice breeze during the summer. We visited the pool around 4 times and 3 of these times we had it all to ourselves! As you walk around the Villa you will see lots of fruit that Sebastiano is growing. The property is about a 10-15 minute walk to the town centre. You can take the steps directly there. We enjoyed taking the steps down to the town and the bus back up! It was very cheap for the bus and Sebastiano will give you the timetable. There is a lovely restaurant called ‘Al Saraceno’ just two minutes away. You can dine there or grab a takeaway pizza. It is most definitely worth a visit during your stay. If you are looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Sicily, please visit here! The location was perfect for us. The town of Taormina was beautiful but busy and it was lovely to get away from that. Thank you to Sebastiano and your family for a fabulous stay in your property. It was our first time visiting Taormina and we will most definitely be staying here again when we return💗.

Sebastiano was a wonderful host, extremely friendly and caring! The rooms were very clean, cleaned daily (if desired) and had a private bathroom - everything you need. The location of the accommodation is great! At the highest point with beautiful views on both sides (including views of Etna) and is somewhat quieter. But you are also very quickly in 10 min in the city or has the bus in the immediate vicinity. We would definitely recommend the accommodation!

Beautiful accommodation, rustic in Sicilian style. The Villa with 5 rooms is located on a hill above the town of Taormina. The view from the breakfast terrace is simply great, you look out at the surrounding mountains and the coast. The hosts (Sebastiano and his wife, whose name we unfortunately did not ask for :-)) are super nice and very warm, they immediately help you with questions or requests. There is a slight language barrier, but those who are proficient in English can communicate. If you are looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you. A clear recommendation from us.

Sebastiano is a sweet host. The house is exceptionally well situated, on the heights of Taormina, with splendid views on Taormina, Castelmola, and the seaside, with a large terrace and a lovely fruit garden perched on the mountain side. It’s a calm environment and the town is accessible on foot (via stairs). The room we stayed in and its bathroom were small but cool during the hot days (air conditioning). A very enjoyable stay.

We stayed (my wife and I) at Villa Almoezia from 9 to 15 September and Sebastiano and his wife treated us like we were king and queen. A very peaceful place with a heavenly view over the pool on the sea and the bay of Taormina, as well as on Mount Etna! Public transport is very well organized. There is a bus stop at the beginning of Via Madonna della Rocca, from which it is only 50 meters to the Villa. Sebastiano and his wife prepared a crepe or a croque monsieur with coffee every day at will! They are always available to provide further information on excursions. From the moment we arrived until the day of departure, we were surrounded by the loving care of Rita & Sebastiano. With our 4 children, we had 3 rooms, each with their own bathroom, nicely located in the cool part of the house with air conditioning, which was a good place to escape from the heat of the day. The pool is incredibly situated and clean, and we could hardly leave the place to go and see the island as we felt very much at home. Transportation was easy with the bus or stairs, reaching the center in 10 minutes. A great restaurant around the corner, and a very cute medieval village up the mountain with lovely restaurants on the square. Sebastiano showed us around and was very helpful in planning trips. Breakfast with fresh crepes every day made the kids (13, 14, 14, 16 years old) want to return every year!

Very nice and friendly hosts, who gave us many valuable tips. Excellent breakfast with fresh cakes, crepes, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Lovely sunny terrace and pool. Slightly off the beaten path, at the highest point of Taormina, below the castle, but with a great panorama and a short walk to Castelmola, a charming mountain village above Taormina. Not suitable for those with foot problems, either by car, bus, or about 550 steps to the center of Taormina. Nearby, an excellent restaurant with a unique view over the city, the sea, and Mount Etna. We were very satisfied and can only recommend the accommodation.

Great welcome, warm. Varied and quality breakfast. A very pleasant guest room, but a bit out of the way. The owner should specify on his site the buses and their schedules to access the lodging from both Taormina and Giardini.
