Beschreibung

Case Vacanze Cassibile was born after a Sicilian lunch in a Sicilian summer. And from the first day until today our enthusiasm continues like the first day, well..maybe more. We love the idea of ??hosting in our land, in our home with the hope of leaving the best of memories in a Sicilian holiday.

Cassibile is located not far from Syracuse and a stone's throw from Fontane Bianche, our friends / visitors choose us not only for high level of cleaning (almost obsessive) and for our smiles, also because logistically we are the perfect solution for those who want to visit Eastern Sicily without spending too much.

We have 2 rooms with 2 dedicated bathrooms (Ochidea and Trichelio) and the one we call Suite (Il Marchese), upstairs which is actually a mini apartment with two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and a lovely terrace in which get relaxed after a beach day.

I could stay here and write a hundred more pages and tell you lots of stories, details, tips, but do you know what? I'll wait for you, I will tell you everything in front of a good coffee!

We have the best bar in Cassibile that takes care of your breakfasts. The best granitas, coffee, croissants and cappuccinos. Not to mention Sicilian pastries, but that is not included on breakfast menu.

Cassibile (Sicilian: Cassìbbili) is an Italian village and civil parish (frazione) of the city and municipality (comune) of Syracuse (Siracusa), in Sicily.

As of 2006 its population was of 5,800. In 1797 the Bourbons conceded the territory, together with the title of Marquis, to Silvestro Loffredo. In 1850, he started the construction of the rural village, which was completed by his son Gaetano, who in 1870 built the church of the Holy Family. During the Second World War, the village became famous as the location of the armistice between Italy and Allied armed forces (also known as the Armistice of Cassibile), signed on September 3 and publicly declared on September 8, 1943. The archaeological site of Cassibile, spread over the hills on either side of the Cassibile river, consists of hundreds of rock-cut chamber tombs dating to the Late Bronze and Iron Ages (about 1000 - 700 BC). Cassibile is located 18 km south of Syracuse and close to the village of Fontane Bianche (i. e. White Fountains), by the Mediterranean Sea, built as the sea resort of Cassibile in 1960s. It is 12 km far from Avola and 21 from Noto. The Cassibile river flows a few kilometres west of the village and includes a natural reserve on its course.

A well-equipped and cozy studio with K, washing machine, terrace and new comfortable mattresses. Breakfast included at a nearby bar/pastry shop. Cassibile is a small, well-served town and it has a good location to visit the surroundings: Noto, Syracuse and the beautiful Cassibile Nature Reserve, with lovely pools of fresh water where you can swim. Ernesto, the host, was very kind and helpful. Great value for money.

We stayed there for only one night, and I must say we had a great time. The host is super nice and the structure is very clean and new. The only point I would like to suggest is that in the room we stayed in, there were few outlets; one more and the room would be perfect. We will definitely come back.

Well-managed and comfortable B&B. Upon our arrival, we found everything clean and in order. Each room has its very clean private bathroom (shower, bidet, sink, hairdryer) and its own air conditioning, plus there is a small room with a clothes rack. The kitchen is shared, very well-equipped, nothing was missing. There is also a laundry room, iron, vacuum cleaner... Close to the sea, 3 km from Fontane Bianche, 7 km from Arenella, 15 km from Siracusa/Ortigia. The host is kind, polite, and always available. Highly recommended. P.S. We did not have breakfast.

I stayed with a colleague in separate rooms. All environments are well defined and meticulously cared for. Both rooms are equipped with all the conveniences: air conditioning, 32" TV, mini fridge, free wifi, 2 USB sockets on each side of the bed, very efficient LED lighting. In the bathroom: wall-mounted hairdryer, extractor fan, large shower. In the common area, right at the entrance, there is a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, hob with hood, microwave, coffee machine with capsules, and two comfortable small tables. Even the waste sorting is well organized, with convenient and spacious containers. In short, there is nothing to improve. I will definitely come back if there is the opportunity.

The structure is well maintained and well organized. In both the accommodation and the common area, there is everything you need for a pleasant and stress-free stay. The manager has a friendly and non-intrusive attitude. The only downside is the lack of a parking lot or a dedicated parking space, and not always is there a free spot outside the structure as the spaces are often (too often) occupied by neighbors' cars.

My boyfriend and I stayed at 'Vacanze Cassibile' during the first week of September. First of all, it is important to underline the kindness and availability of Ernesto, who also provided us with tickets for breakfast at the bar just outside the house, where we enjoyed excellent delicacies and excellent arancini. It is also important to highlight the location of the property. Excellent for those with a car and want to visit beautiful places. The property is just 5 minutes from Avola, 6 minutes from Fontane Bianche beach, 15 minutes from Ortigia, 10 minutes from Noto, and 20 from Marzamemi. Not to mention the natural reserves, easily reachable in a very short time. In short, highly recommended.

Erasmo and his wife were very kind and welcoming from the beginning. The property was perfectly clean and in excellent condition. Away from the chaos, yet easily accessible. My brother and I are very satisfied with this stay, and we recommend it. It is ideal for being close to Syracuse (15 minutes by car), and close to other attractions. Cassibile is a small town, but there is everything you need to live and spend a quiet evening without having to take the car. Thank you Erasmo!
