Description

Albergo Terrazze Sul Mare is situated on the Raganzino beachfront, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sicily. It has been awarded the "blue flag" by FEE for its stunning, unspoiled coastline, crystal-clear sea, fine golden sand, and various services such as pedalos, showers, lifeguards, and entertainment.

The location offers an excellent panoramic view of the sea and the tourist harbor from any angle. Daily catamaran connections to Malta are also available and take just over an hour.

Each room has a private bathroom, a television, air conditioning, a minibar, Wi-Fi, a safety key, soundproof windows, and a hairdryer, all of which open up to the sea.

Excursions to Malta, Modica, Ragusa, Siracusa, Noto, Catania, Taormina, Etna, Pantalica, Vendicari Oasis, Cava d'Ispica, Donnafugata Castle, the Montalbano TV series commissioner house, archaeological sites, and sea excursions on an 18-meter boat are available.

Hello, my dear future guests, my name is Giancarlo and I am the owner of my B&B*** Terrazze Sul Mare in Pozzalo (RG), Sicily..!
My B&B was opened by me and my grandfather because he wanted me to come back from my life in Australia. It was a very difficult decision to make, but today I am very happy with my decision because a year after we opened the B&B, my grandfather passed away and it was a blow to my heart. I thought my life was over because he had raised me, my parents having been separated since my birth.

Today I can say thank you from the bottom of my heart to this B&B because it was my salvation during his funeral. I put the business card of my B&B inside his tomb and promised him that I would give my soul and heart to make it a luxury B&B full of love, happiness, and smiles.

Today, I am the top-ranked B&B in Pozzallo and my guests love me. I prepare breakfast for them every day with fresh food, and all my guests can't wait to come back and stay at my B&B.

So, this is me, a 26-year-old guy who made a career in the best Australian hotels, who speaks English very well, and who gives his heart and soul every day in his B&B to make your stay unforgettable.

This property is right across the street from the beach — perfect for sleeping with your window open and listening to the waves! I strongly recommend one of the three rooms on the second floor, as they have a private balcony that looks directly at the beach and the sea. Giancarlo was attentive to every question I had and quick to help me arrange a taxi or figure out what bus to take when going to nearby towns. There is a street market and many restaurants easily within walking distance.

Host seemed rushed during check-in, and later someone broke a key off in the main door, so we were locked out until someone came to open it. It was a one-off event, I’m sure. However, later that night there was a lot of noise and door slamming. All doors open to the main area, so I am not sure if other guests were rowdy or if they were also locked out. The place was clean, but the bathroom smelled like a public toilet, which was easily solved by keeping the window open. The bed was comfortable. It is a manageable walk to the ferry. We left at 7:00 to catch the 8:30 ferry to Malta. There was no breakfast until 7:30, so we did not have breakfast. I would suggest maybe having some coffee or tea available.

The hotel is delightful: I stayed in room 105 on the first floor, which has a blue view of the endless sea and an incomparable atmosphere, which the rooms on the ground floor do not, however, enjoy.

Great location facing the sea. Waking up with the sunrise is priceless. The manager is excellent and caring. The only downside is the bathroom without a bidet, but he said he will renovate soon. Well done Giancarlo, we were satisfied.

The property was in a good location with a sea view from the common area. The room we had was on the small side and a bit noisy in the morning due to it being next to the breakfast area. The hosts were kind and friendly.

Great host and great cozy property. Several rooms are available on the ground floor, but 3 others are on the 1st level with huge private patios! The beds were comfortable and water heat and pressure perfect. Do note that if you reserve an upper room the stairs are steep and curved, so try and not bring a ton of luggage. The host was great and staff put out a great simple breakfast. Not far from the main street area of Pozzallo and a short walk from the Virtue Ferry to Malta. This review is during offseason - but I'm sure the location would yield for a nice break away from the crowds during season.

Amazing B&B in a superb location directly opposite the beach. The host, Giancarlo, is extremely friendly, speaks English very well. He is very helpful and genuine! The B&B is very very clean, spacious and modern. I cannot recommend the accommodation highly enough and have no doubt to book here again in the future visits. I will be sending all my friends and family from Australia and Malta to visit. Thank you so much Giancarlo.

Giancarlo was a friendly and very helpful host. The B&B's location suited us as we were taking the ferry to Malta, which boards close by. We enjoyed our walk along the beachfront to the town centre and dinner at a restaurant recommended by Giancarlo. We would recommend staying here.

Great communication from the property owner, for an out of hours arrival. Nice little B&B on the coast let down by a poor breakfast. Breakfast was poor due to no croissants, no butter for the toast, only 2 slices of toast.

We only stayed overnight to take a ferry to Malta. From the very first enquiry made long ago, Giancarlo was so helpful, prompt and engaging. He is so brilliant at making sure his guests are treated in a very special way as if you were staying with a relative. He went out of his way to make sure a really good breakfast was ready by 6.30am (included in the price) so we could comfortably catch our ferry. Upon arrival, he assisted with the luggage and offered and promptly delivered coffees for us to enjoy. Apart from the great service and hospitality, we found the cute room to be comfortable with very good quality linen and towels, hot shower, and a very spacious balcony with superb views. I highly recommend staying with Giancarlo at Terrazze Sul Mare in Pozzallo.

Structure in front of a beautiful beach and close to the center, reachable on foot in 10/15 minutes. Very welcoming manager and attentive to customer needs. Room and bathroom not too big but clean and equipped with every comfort.

We loved it. So close to the catamaran ferry port. We had a room with a big terrace and a great view. The service was excellent, all our questions answered immediately. Breakfast was very good and everywhere was so clean and smelled nice. It was also ideal for pets, we had just got our puppy and stayed here. If we are in Pozzallo we will return for sure.

The bed and breakfast is located in front of the sea. Beautiful terrace on the top floor. Excellent cleanliness. The owner and the staff are very kind and always available for any request.

The B&B is very nice and the managers are super kind. \nI had a great time. \nExcellent breakfast with a breathtaking view. \nIf I can give a piece of advice, find a way to silence the autoclave, it turns on at night and produces a somewhat annoying noise.

I stayed from 4th to 9th October in one of the available suites in the B&B. Very nice structure in an enviable position. Room completely renovated with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. The breakfast is good and abundant, and it can be enjoyed on the external terrace with sea view. The family management makes you feel immediately at home. I recommend it.

Stunning location with sea view. Ask for rooms with sea view, preferably those on the upper floor with a private terrace. During booking, I was informed of the availability of the room with a private terrace, then upon arrival I was given a ground floor room always with a sea view, but without a private terrace (window). The B&B is undergoing renovation. The structure is simple, but tasteful. At the end of the renovation, this B&B will certainly be even more enjoyable as the location is truly fantastic. The manager is very friendly, helpful, and very pleasant. Good and abundant breakfast. The room is equipped with a minibar and air conditioning. In short, a recommended B&B especially for those, like me and my wife, who prefer a convenient logistical base for visiting cities like Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Scicli, Noto, Syracuse, Vendicari Reserve, etc., without giving up the pleasure of a simple evening by the sea after daily visits.

The manager Giancarlo welcomed me with a smile and was truly very helpful. The location is excellent because it is in front of the beach and a short walk from the port and therefore from the ferries to Malta. I recommend it to everyone.
