Description

Our establishment is a newly built structure located in a prime location on the island of Lampedusa in the "Porto Vecchio" area, facing the "Cala Palme" beach with a splendid view of the sea.

We are located at the port where boats leave for tours around the island from 8: 30 am to 7: 00 pm, taking customers to visit the caves and wonders of this area, offering them a spectacular seafood lunch.

The structure also has a panoramic terrace "Solarium" specially furnished and equipped for guests with sofas, tables, chairs and sun loungers where they can have breakfast or enjoy lunch/dinner or drinks together.

The property is located about 1 km from the Guitgia beach and is a 5-minute walk from the center (Via Roma) and a 10-minute drive from the beautiful beach of Isola dei Conigli (UNESCO Heritage Site). It offers air-conditioned rooms, completely renovated with attached facilities, free Wi-Fi, minibar, LCD TV with digital terrestrial.

We speak Italian, English, Spanish and French.

There are 5 rooms with private bathrooms.

Upon arrival, customers will find Mrs. Maria, happy to help them have a pleasant stay, providing them with information on renting scooters, cars, boats or the main excursions to do on the island in order to ensure optimal use of their time and enjoy a complete 360-degree vacation.

Very central, quiet, clean and well-kept structure, but the real difference is made by Maria, the true soul of this b&b. Before we even arrived, she took care of organizing our arrival and our stay at best. Her presence made us feel at home and gave us the feeling of always having a reference point on the island, not to mention her enormous sympathy and big heart. Always kind and helpful. We will miss her sunny personality so much. Our rating for breakfast is not the highest because, from the photos and other reviews from previous years, we expected local products and not industrial ones, we would like to recommend returning to offering local products considering the variety of typical delicacies from Lampedusa. (Claudia and Daniela).

Highly recommended! Perfect location both to reach the city center (3 minutes) and because it overlooks the old port. Friendly and welcoming staff, beautiful terrace to have breakfast and admire the view.

Maria was an excellent host, friendly and helpful from the booking. The assistance was effective. The structure is located in the old port, so it is convenient for every move towards the beaches. Also, Via Roma can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The breakfast on the terrace is good, with fresh fruit, cakes, and pastries. Despite the location not being quiet due to the external noise of scooters and cars, the windows remove most of the noise. The price is high, but it is average for the island. Recommendation.

Staying here has been one of the most beautiful experiences that I would recommend to anyone. Maria is very kind and makes you feel immediately at home. The location is great, the room is very clean. The breakfast is plentiful and offers a view of the port, fantastic.

Silvia Guesthouse was very responsive to our requests, the apartment is clean and equipped with everything necessary, the air conditioning is efficient and there is the availability to use a beach umbrella and a cooler bag. The environment is very peaceful, no noise and the neighbors are really polite and discreet. I recommend it!

We spent a fantastic week at this property. Modern, clean, functional rooms equipped with all comforts including air conditioning. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the harbor, making breakfast taste even better, you would never get tired of staying there. Also great in the evening to enjoy the colors and lights of the harbor in complete tranquility. The property is ideally located, convenient to everything yet peaceful. And then there's Maria who manages everything with precision, friendliness, and a lot of attention to guests. Need something? A scooter, a car, a boat trip, a suggestion for the right restaurant... ask Maria! Excellent experience.

The structure is located in a beautiful location, right in front you can take the boats. Very clean, comfortable beds and a beautiful view if you choose the sea view room. Convenient shuttle service to and from the airport that leaves you in front of the hotel, same for the return. Maria is a great person, very kind and super helpful with everything. If I return to Lampedusa, I will definitely go back to the same structure.

We spent 3 nights at the structure, from 8th to 11th June. Our room was a bit small, but clean. Comfortable bed. The location is great, the structure overlooks the old port and is a few minutes' walk from the center. Maria, the lady who manages the B&B, was very kind, punctual in responding to our requests, gave us honest advice, and made us feel at home. Good breakfast, maybe a bit limited choice especially for the savory, I would have appreciated having fresh bread. The overall judgment is positive, I would come back.

I stayed at this property for two nights. I found it good both for the helpfulness and kindness of Mrs. Maria, who is always ready to give you useful suggestions and advice for moving around the island, and for the location. In just two minutes on foot, you are already in the center and nearby there are many places to eat and places to rent vehicles. Highly recommended!

Structure beyond expectations: clean room, abundant and delicious breakfast served on the terrace. But above all, we were lucky to meet Maria who took care of everything, kind and always available, made us feel at home with her hospitality and sympathy, we really felt pampered. She gave us many tips and phone contacts to make the most of the short vacation in Lampedusa, she also recommended a boat tour, with Barca Tata, a wonderful, unforgettable experience. We will definitely come back not only for Lampedusa but above all to see Maria. The location is also very strategic, on the Old Port and a 5-minute walk from the center.

We were welcomed by Maria who even arranged a driver for us at the airport exit despite the flight being delayed. Maria was extremely kind from the start, she helped and advised us to organize everything on the island, responding to messages even at late hours. We felt at home especially during breakfasts on the splendid terrace overlooking the marina where she, very nice and kind, fulfilled every request. I have traveled a lot but the availability of this person is definitely above average. I will recommend her to all the people who will ask me about Lampedusa. Thank you Maria, we are grateful to you for making this wonderful island even more welcoming. The rooms are standard but clean and with air conditioning, and they also have a nice view of the old port where the center is 5 minutes away and close to boats, bars, supermarkets, and anything else.

Mrs. Maria was very kind, we had a good time. It's a pity only for the proximity of a bar on the beach 200 meters away from the Silvia Guesthouse which turns into a nightclub with loud music until 2 a.m. from Friday to Sunday, so not highly recommended for a family with children. It's better to choose the rooms that overlook the interior rather than those overlooking the old port.

The strong points are: management, cleanliness, breakfast, and location. Mrs. Maria is a reference point with her advice. The terrace for breakfast is wonderful. Weak points: poor soundproofing, even with double glazed windows, a lot of noise comes from outside until late. I will gladly return but not in August due to the external noise.

We have just left this facility where we spent four wonderful nights. We will certainly take with us the memory of the beautiful Lampedusa and the excellent facility where we stayed, but undoubtedly the added value to all this is the wonderful person who manages everything and that is Maria! Excellent property located on the Old Port, right in front of Cala Palme. Very close to the center, a 7-minute walk to reach the famous Via Roma. The property is excellently managed by Maria, an extremely efficient woman who has met all our requests. Good cleanliness, in my opinion, breakfast could be improved, it's only sweet; perhaps by adding some homemade cake and something savory. Highly recommended.

I stayed for 2 nights because I was returning from Linosa, a tactical stop to catch my flight to Milan. The structure is located at the old port with a fantastic view from the terrace where breakfast is served and where you can relax during the day, there are sunbeds and tables. Also convenient because it's close to the pedestrian center. The room with an internal patio is small but it's fine for a few days, there is Wi-Fi, TV, and a minibar. Bathroom with a window. Being at the back is also quieter. Maria, who manages the structure, is very kind, friendly, and very helpful.

Following a phone conversation with the property owner, I booked directly with her a room with a sea view (C1), (I had initially done it through booking, but the lady asked me to cancel and make the same reservation with her). I was assigned, without my knowledge, a room (C3) different from the one agreed verbally, a room with a single opening onto the internal stairs of the B&B, with the consequence that the other guests, going up or down, looked into the room and practically saw everything, as the bed was facing the opening. There was therefore no possibility of privacy, nor of external air and light (except for that of the stairs), with the discomfort of being able to stay in the room only by closing yourself in and turning on the air conditioning. Obviously, for someone like me with a claustrophobic problem, sleeping with the shutter open also meant having the room brightly lit every time another guest, retiring, turned on the corridor light accessed from the stairs. Even the bathroom window opens onto the stairs. The owner, to whom I had sent a text message asking for information about changing rooms, never bothered to reply. Obviously the next morning I ran away. The conclusion is that if you really want to stay in this property, always do it through booking and never with the owner, who also with a couple of my friends created quite a mess by selling their room to others. That said, I add that even breakfast is poor and risky. The only highlight of the property is Mrs. Maria, patient, polite, and professional.

Gent. signora Lo Vasco, mi dispiace molto apprendere le sue parole. Siamo nostro malgrado costretti a fornire una interpretazione più veritiera degli accadimenti da Lei lamentati. I sig. ri suoi amici in data 03/08/2020 chiedono preventivo per camera matrimoniale C1 (matrimoniale con finestra vista mare a piano terra) direttamente tramite mail, abbiamo risposto in pari data compilando il preventivo e specificando che avrebbero dovuto dare conferma entro il 04/08/2020 con caparra. I signori hanno confermato il 05/08/2020, un giorno dopo il termine stabilito mandando direttamente la caparra. Nel frattempo, essendo trascorse 24 ore, il giorno 04/08/2020 avevamo venduto la camera. Abbiamo contattato immediatamente i clienti comunicando la vendita ed abbiamo immediatamente effettuato bonifico di rimborso. Il 5/08/2020 alle ore 10:11 Lei aveva prenotato a suo nome sul nostro sito la camera n.3 con patio interno cioè una camera al primo piano con vista sul cortile interno della nostra struttura, ben visibile dalle foto presenti sul sito. Successivamente il 05/08/2020 alle ore 14: 25 lei ha prenotato a nome Suo per conto dei suoi amici la stessa camera n. C1 (matrimoniale a piano terra con vista mare) tramite Booking ma la nostra collaboratrice signora Licciardi le ha telefonato chiedendole di cancellare la prenotazione in quanto nel frattempo la camera C1 era stata venduta ad altro cliente perché erano trascorsi i termini per la ricezione della distinta di pagamento ai fini della conferma della prenotazione, lei ha accettato ed ha cancellato la prenotazione, ed abbiamo immediatamente effettuato bonifico di rimborso ad i suoi amici. Lei è arrivata il giorno 11 settembre alle ore 09: 00, è stata prelevata all’aeroporto per nostro conto, ha preso possesso della camera e non ha elevato alcun protesto che adesso lamenta. La mattina seguente lei ha avanzato le lamentele sull'apertura del balconcino sul patio interno che già ben conosceva dal giorno precedente e dopo un lungo sproloquio ha abbandonato la struttura facendosi venire a prendere da dei suoi amici e dicendo di non volere pagare il conto. Questi sono gli accadimenti reali ed ogni altra affermazione risulta essere pura menzogna. New and clean structure, cozy rooms equipped with air conditioning and a comfortable bathroom. The availability and kindness of Maria is the strength of the structure. It really feels like being welcomed by a relative or an old friend. In the morning, they serve an excellent breakfast with coffee or cappuccino made with the bar's coffee machine, fresh pastries, fruit, yogurt, etc. All served on a beautiful terrace overlooking the old port. The structure is very close to Via Roma, which is the center of the island. Nearby there are supermarkets, restaurants, and gastronomies. Maria will also advise you on boat trips, places to visit, and options for renting a vehicle. The free transfer to and from the airport is a plus for the structure.

Structure and price/quality ratio absolutely top notch! \nThe location is very convenient as it is in the center but with a view of the harbor and ideal for anything you want to do. \nThe magical touch, however, comes from MARIA, who with immense patience and always with a smile at all hours of the day will help and advise you, without her Silvia Affittacamere would lose a thousand points! Must return soon, Lampedusa is addictive.
