We spent our last night in Sicily at an airport motel. The takeoff and landings of planes was quieter than the hotel. Of the 4 night stay, two of them involved women talking loud into the early AM. One night a man and woman had a heated and loud argument into the AM. In all instances, I could hear them even with a pillow on my head. Overall: good location, inexpensive. safe. Downside is paper thin walls. The breakfast was cereal, sweets, yogurt, coffee. We only ate once. A man stood there the whole time and I guess was our breakfast host. But it was uncomfortable since we did not speak the language and could not engage in conversation.

Wonderful hosts! My flight was delayed, so I arrived after the check-in time. Mari guided me through check-in on the phone (WhatsApp) and it went smoothly. The room had a beautiful ceiling with a small balcony to dry the clothes I hand-washed. The location felt very secure and the keycard for access made it easy to come in and out. Though the location is not immediately at the city center, it is not too far either: a pleasant walk in a quiet neighborhood.

Quadruple room with adequate space. Cleaning and accessories were adequate. Terrible breakfast: discount yogurt, packaged toast, discount bread for toasting, industrial single-serving jams, and single-serving Nutella. Savory: plastic-wrapped cheese slices, discount sliced cooked ham. Beverages: coffee, cappuccino, industrial orange juice, water. No fresh fruit, fresh products in general sweet or savory. Positive note: the lady quickly provided soy milk upon request. Very negative note: it is really unpleasant that the staff goes out on the balcony to smoke during service and comes back in without even washing their hands. This is why I rated the manager a six. The towels were mixed up during the room cleaning. The air conditioning unit was not very functional.

The B&B is located in a historic building on Via Garibaldi, about 500 meters from the central square of Catania. There is an internal parking available in the building (at 15 euros per day) that must be booked in advance. We did the check-in remotely as a home automation system is installed and the B&B manager opened the doors for us from a distance. The room was not very large, but clean and equipped with what is required in a B&B. The bed was quite comfortable. We met the manager of the property one morning for a few minutes when we delivered the documents for registration. Otherwise, we never saw her and dealt with the lady who served breakfast, unfortunately not of a typically hospitable nature. Let's say that the staff and the welcome turned out to be somewhat cold, unlike almost all the other places we stayed in. The air conditioning in the room was not working properly. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Used to super abundant breakfasts with products of all kinds, here there was at most one croissant per person and, when I asked for the savory breakfast, they presented me with two slices of cheese and four slices of super industrial cooked ham, the square kind already sized for toast, just to be clear. Truly a terrible treatment regarding breakfast... what a shame. The rest was fine.

Clean apartment, very convenient parking in the courtyard, it would be better for the manager to inform the customer about the size (width) of the garage given the limited space. Breakfast definitely needs improvement also in terms of interpersonal relationship.

I would like to share my opinion about the breakfast, which is average. Italy is the country of cheese! It would be good to provide two varieties of sliced cheese instead of this vacuum-packed cheese. The croissant basket is too sweet! Consider offering a plain brioche for those who prefer it. I would suggest the owner to increase the room rate by 10 € per person and improve the breakfast (children free). The coffee is delicious; I used to drink 3 or 4 espressos every morning! Thank you for your great generosity, kindness, and hospitality. If any of my friends wants to come to Catania, I will definitely recommend your establishment. Long live Italy and the Sicilians. You are lovely.

Splendid bed and breakfast of charm in an elegant historic palace, very well cared for in the details, extremely clean, with an optimal location to visit the historic center of Catania as it is located in the very central Via Garibaldi. We were in Catania for just one day and we couldn't have stayed in a better place in terms of both structure and location. The room was very cute with a little balcony, tastefully furnished and very clean. All the staff were extremely kind and helpful. They gave us great tips on how to get to the most interesting places - all very close and within walking distance - and on restaurants. It's worth mentioning a plentiful and delicious breakfast and the convenience of parking in the inner courtyard. Moreover, the owner was very kind to allow us to leave the car in the parking for a few extra hours. We had a great time and will definitely come back!

Kindness reigns supreme. Mariangela at the reception is the most helpful person you could ever meet in your life. The housekeeper, on her part, even made pasta for the sick child at her home and then delivered it to me. The attention of Mariangela and Carmela is fantastic. The rooms are beautiful and super clean although the views are not good. The breakfast is very correct with delicious croissants. We were able to have breakfast early by preparing it ourselves, which made our day planning much easier. The parking lot is small and a bit tight but turned out to be very practical. The beds are impeccable and very comfortable. It is not on the main street but in a 5-minute walk you get there. I would come back without hesitation.

Excellent facility, managed very well and with great care. Cleanliness and services at the highest level. Good breakfast. Possibility to make excursions directly from the B&B. Located right in the center of Catania. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.

A beautiful experience. Very close to the Cathedral of Catania and the bus stop. The staff is really great. As well as the cleanliness and breakfast. Mrs. Carmela unique and splendid, makes you feel at home. Mariangela available for everything, even for city tours. The owner polite and kind, nowadays he brought fresh, typical Sicilian sweets.

Great location close to the center. Pleasant reception. The rooms are comfortable, a bit affected by the street traffic. Admirable restoration. Good breakfast with pastries and brioches according to requests.

This is an ancient palace recently renovated. I was impressed by the attention to detail used for the renovation. The ancient structure has been preserved while providing the room with everything necessary for a proper use of the accommodation. We found courtesy and attention from the manager and the room always clean and tidy by a very kind and helpful lady. We will come back.
