B&B Orizzonte is located in a building on two levels, ground floor and first floor, inside a courtyard, close to everything, but away from the bustle of the streets is ideally located within one minute’s walk to the public and private beaches of Cefalù, and only 8 minutes from the old town.

The train station is also only a six-minute walk from the B&B.

It is a tranquil spot decorated with an eclectic mix of rustic and ethnic décor. Each of the rooms is equipped with a private bathroom including hairdryers, self-regulated air conditioners, LED TV, and free WI-FI, along with a shared balcony/terrace where we offer a varied continental breakfast and magnificent sea view.

B&B Orizzonte is easy to find in Cefalù when arriving by car, when driving along the waterfront enter along Cortile Elvira Guarnera, Within one minute’s walk around the corner you reach the seafront where there is access to the beach, many restaurants, shopping and some of the most popular nightclubs in the area.

In 10 minutes walk to the Historic Center you will find: the Cathedral, The Mandralisca Palace Museum, the Osterio Magno Palace, the medieval wash-house, and many other historic sites.

Within 15 minutes you arrive at La Rocca Castle ruins which has the ancient fortress with its Temple of Diana, a nature-walk and breathtaking view that stretch to the Aeolian islands.

It is only a few kilometers to reach the 15 municipalities of the natural park, Parco delle Madonie.

A 35-minute walk to the small marina where tour groups arrange for weekly trips to the Aeolian Islands.

Palermo International Airport is about 80 Km away (approx 1 hour by train).

The B&B is more of a room rental than a bed and breakfast. The rooms are within the owner's apartment, sharing only the entrance, while all are equipped with private bathrooms. Our room was not very spacious, but overall comfortable, also featuring a small balcony overlooking another building. The fixtures, a bit dated and lacking mosquito nets, do not isolate from external noises, and the structure does not provide good sound insulation even from internal noises. The bathroom is really small, there is no bidet, and there are no shelves or hooks to place or hang anything, even inside the rather spacious shower, although the door and the entire sliding system, including the shower head, should be replaced. The location is excellent, a stone's throw from the sea and the historic center, with parking nearby. Attention: in Cefalù, there are no free parking spaces except for residents; for tourists, only paid parking is available (1 euro per hour from 8 am to 12 am, or 10 euros for 16 hours).

Structure a stone's throw from the sea. The lady was very kind and helpful. In our room, there was a really nice little terrace to spend time on. Basically at the beginning of the historical center.

A few steps from the sea, room very clean and welcoming. Abundant breakfast, I thank the lady who manages the Orizzonte for the exquisite kindness, education, and sympathy shown towards me and my son. I was there four years ago, I returned and I am even more satisfied. Excellent location.

The B&B is strategically located for those who want to easily reach the beach and the center of Cefalù. A few steps from the sea and 5 minutes from the Cathedral of Cefalù and other places of interest, such as the ancient washhouse. In the immediate vicinity, there are restaurants with sea view where you can eat excellent fish. Maria is a very kind hostess and attentive to the needs of the guests. For breakfast, we asked for everything we wanted: excellent croissants, yogurt, waffles, jams, butter, toast, cappuccino, juice, etc. Interesting conversations with her, a seasoned traveler and explorer. I recommend Orizzonte to those who prefer to experience the accommodation as a place where they can feel at home, away from the coldness of large hotels and from all those B&Bs that are much more similar to a hotel than to a cozy and familiar place. Good value for money.
