Description
B&B Orizzonte is located in a building on two levels, ground floor and first floor, inside a courtyard, close to everything, but away from the bustle of the streets is ideally located within one minute’s walk to the public and private beaches of Cefalù, and only 8 minutes from the old town.
The train station is also only a six-minute walk from the B&B.
It is a tranquil spot decorated with an eclectic mix of rustic and ethnic décor. Each of the rooms is equipped with a private bathroom including hairdryers, self-regulated air conditioners, LED TV, and free WI-FI, along with a shared balcony/terrace where we offer a varied continental breakfast and magnificent sea view.
The train station is also only a six-minute walk from the B&B.

Hi I'm Maria, I am 56 years old, formally married to a German in Munich where I lived for many years. I have three children, Isabel, who is studying at art school, who gives me a hand in the management of this small family business, Julian end Dennis haw towards independence.
I love painting on silk, I love traveling, discovering, photographing, and traveling around Europe and in doing so I have come to know and appreciate the B&B experience. I always thought that it was something that could be done in my country.

B&B Orizzonte is easy to find in Cefalù when arriving by car, when driving along the waterfront enter along Via Maestro Pintorno. Within one minute’s walk around the corner you reach the seafront where there is access to the beach, many restaurants, shopping and some of the most popular nightclubs in the area.
In 10 minutes walk to the Historic Center you will find: the Cathedral, The Mandralisca Palace Museum, the Osterio Magno Palace, the medieval wash-house, and many other historic sites.
Within 15 minutes you arrive at La Rocca Castle ruins which has the ancient fortress with its Temple of Diana, a nature-walk and breathtaking view that stretch to the Aeolian islands.
It is only a few kilometers to reach the 15 municipalities of the natural park, Parco delle Madonie.
A 35-minute walk to the small marina where tour groups arrange for weekly trips to the Aeolian Islands.
Palermo International Airport is about 80 Km away (approx 1 hour by train).

Strategic location to visit the town or stay by the sea. Just a stone's throw from the historic center and a few tens of meters from the beaches, and in any case within a condominium courtyard, without any noise.

The B&B is more of a room rental than a bed and breakfast. The rooms are within the owner's apartment, sharing only the entrance, while all are equipped with private bathrooms. Our room was not very spacious, but overall comfortable, also featuring a small balcony overlooking another building. The fixtures, a bit dated and lacking mosquito nets, do not isolate from external noises, and the structure does not provide good sound insulation even from internal noises. The bathroom is really small, there is no bidet, and there are no shelves or hooks to place or hang anything, even inside the rather spacious shower, although the door and the entire sliding system, including the shower head, should be replaced. The location is excellent, a stone's throw from the sea and the historic center, with parking nearby. Attention: in Cefalù, there are no free parking spaces except for residents; for tourists, only paid parking is available (1 euro per hour from 8 am to 12 am, or 10 euros for 16 hours).

The structure is comfortable and easy to reach. You can walk to the waterfront area. The room is lovely and the owner very helpful.

Structure a stone's throw from the sea. The lady was very kind and helpful. In our room, there was a really nice little terrace to spend time on. Basically at the beginning of the historical center.

In 3, as a family we found ourselves very well for the functionality and centrality of the structure 30 meters from the sea and the promenade center of Cefalù. We have already forwarded the address to friends who had asked us for reviews on the spot.

A few steps from the sea, room very clean and welcoming. Abundant breakfast, I thank the lady who manages the Orizzonte for the exquisite kindness, education, and sympathy shown towards me and my son. I was there four years ago, I returned and I am even more satisfied. Excellent location.

Il B&B si trova in una posizione strategica per chi intende raggiungere con facilità la spiaggia e il centro Cefalù. A pochi passi dal mare e a 5 minuti dal Duomo di Cefalù e da altri luoghi di interesse, come l'antico lavatoio. Si trovano, nelle immediate vicinanze, ristoranti con vista mare in cui mangiare dell'ottimo pesce.
Maria è una padrona di casa gentilissima e attenta alle esigenze dei clienti. Abbiamo chiesto, per colazione, tutto quanto desideravamo: degli ottimi cornetti, yogurt, waffel, marmellate, burro, fette biscottate, cappuccino, succo, ecc. Interessanti le chiacchierate con lei, viaggiatrice navigata ed esploratrice. Consiglio Orizzonte a quanti preferiscono vivere la struttura ricettiva come un luogo in cui sentirsi a casa, lontano dalla freddezza dei grandi Hotel e da tutti quei B&B molto più simili a un hotel che ad un luogo accogliente e familiare.
Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.
