Stay in the heart of Catania. Opera Boutique is a historic, independent building that has recently been renovated in a modern style. It offers 4 rooms, 3 of which overlook the Sangiuliano ascent and have a view of the Quattro Canti located on via Etnea. We are only 300 meters away from Piazza Duomo and the famous fish market of Catania. All rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning, and offer free Wi-Fi, towel sets, TV, and disposable shampoo/shower kits. You can enjoy the company of a good book, along with a coffee in the comfortable kitchen/living area. Just a step away from Via Crociferi, considered one of the most beautiful and characteristic streets in Europe and often a set for various films/fictions set in Catania, such as the famous film by Franco Zeffirelli "Story of a Sparrow" based on the novel by Giovanni Verga.

Our host was welcoming and provided us with a map of the city and gave us lots of really good recommendations for restaurants, cafes and other must see attractions. She is a local so this knowledge was invaluable! The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and clean. We were there for four days and the room was refreshed each day. There is free coffee and bottled water downstairs available to guests. Location wise, it's right next to the main tourist street of the city so is perfectly positioned to easily get around. Value for money was great too. We'd happily visit again, thank you so much!

The room was so small that the luggage could not be properly accommodated. It was located on the ground floor directly on a busy street. I would not go back there again.

We were very well received by Béatrice, who was available from our arrival. She gave us good advice for visits, restaurant choices... The bed and breakfast is very well located in the center of Catania. The room is new and nicely decorated. We had a good stay at Opera Boutique.

Brand new facility, with a pleasing design, clean, very central. Beatrice is exceptionally helpful, before arrival, during the stay and after departure. If I have to find a small area for improvement, it's the soundproofing of the room. This is the first time I am reviewing a facility despite traveling a lot, but this time I couldn't help it. I recommend it without any doubt.
