In the historic center of Catania, overlooking the stunning harbor views, you’ll find Oblò Apartment. This newly built accommodation is located just a few steps from the sea, yet in the heart of the city, where you can breathe in the fresh sea air before immersing yourself in the vibrant streets of the center.

The rooms and design of Oblò are inspired by modern ship cabins and are equipped with every comfort: self check-in, private bathroom with emotional shower, parquet flooring, electronic key access, a spacious living area with sofa, and a fully equipped kitchen featuring a refrigerator, freezer, oven, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, coffee/cappuccino machine, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, heating, and air conditioning. Additionally, the property boasts a large furnished balcony with views of both the sea and the city.

I was given a gluten-free breakfast. There was coffee, tea, cookies, medialunas and jam. They gave us a voucher for another breakfast at Pellegrino, very tasty.

We chose this accommodation because it was close to the train station and was a fair price. It was simple and clean. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. Overall, this was a good choice for what we needed.

Very nice and practical location, the contact with Antonella was great. The room is perfect. No interaction for breakfast, but this is a detail. I strongly recommend the B&B Oblo.

The hosts were fabulous, attentive and friendly. The property was well situated next to the station with an easy walk into the center of town. The rooms were renovated, clean and functional in all respects. Easy check in and out.

Great choice. Sea view from the balcony. Availability in the room of coffee, tea, sweets, etc. and excellent bottle of red. In 10 minutes on foot you can reach the center of Catania. On the waterfront street, it's easy to find parking without expenses.

Very nice, modern and comfortable structure located in a strategic position, a 10-minute walk from the center and 5 from the station (excellent for connections to the airport and for any excursions). Breakfast in the room with packaged products and a coffee/cappuccino machine. Kind and caring host. Highly recommended!

Pleasant stay. Good Air conditioning and facilities. The large bed makes it a bit tricky to move around on one side but the location is great to reach the center where everything is. Bar downstairs with also a shoe shop open late. Good restaurant opposite open late. Antonella is lovely and helpful.

It is a beautiful naval-themed bed and breakfast located in a quiet building. The modern room is not very large but with well-organized spaces, aesthetically very curated, with new fixtures that isolate external noise very well. Very comfortable mattress. New spacious bathroom with window and large shower. Terrace with comfortable outdoor table and chairs. Very clean, with everything needed for personal care. Antonella is very welcoming and helpful. The location is close to the sea and a 5-minute walk from the main street. Parking is public and paid, we had no trouble finding it.

The location is great with respect to the great sites Catania has to offer. Catania is a busy city, not the cleanest, and a bit chaotic. The apartments are just a few blocks away from the cathedral, Bellini theater, fish market, etc. But if you go out at night, along the Via VI Aprile, you'll see a pretty seedy side of town. The apartment I rented was clean, modern, and spacious. All great. Breakfast is served at the Gelateria Pellegrino and includes coffee and a pastry of your choice. The place is great also if you want to buy antipasto and dine at your place for a change. The host Antonella was great. She arranged for a private round-trip transfer to Taormina. The driver was friendly and drove us around Taormina before dropping us off. The apartment is also across the street from the train station and only 15 minutes from Catania airport. All in all a great experience. I will recommend the B&B to anyone going to Catania.

I was received very kindly by Antonella. Check-in was very easy, even though I was there a few hours earlier. The room is on the 7th floor of a high-rise building. The room and shower were clean and new. The distance to the train station and metro is very short, and to the city center is a bit further. Breakfast at a nearby bar was very good. I would like to visit the B&B Oblò again.

Possibility to park in the white zone, very modern hotel, spacious room, very convenient location to visit Catania. The only downside is the breakfast taken in a cafe below the building, of poor quality. Excellent stay.

This B&B has it all, a short walk to the city center while having a view of the sea and Port of Catania. The rooms are located on an upper floor of a palazzo, you can walk out from the main door and walk to most everything in Catania. The rooms are new and equipped with anything you could need. The hosts are super friendly and do anything to make your stay the best it can be. They offer a breakfast in the morning that is delicious (with a view!). Overall, it's a great place.
