Guests praise Donatella and Antonio’s warm hospitality, the clean, comfortable rooms and the generous breakfast featuring homemade items and Sicilian specialties. The property has spectacular Mediterranean views, especially at sunset, and is close to the beach. The walk back from the nearest beach is very steep, while a longer sandy beach is just a few minutes away by car.

Donatella and her husband are very friendly and make you feel at home, not forgetting Carola the dog. The room is very pleasant and clean. The air conditioning works after a room change, but that can happen! It is quiet and the TV is fine. The excellent breakfast includes savory options (cheese, eggs, sausages, ham, tomatoes) and sweet options (fruit, yogurt, homemade jams, daily pastries, cereals). The house is a bit up on a hill and overlooks the entire Mediterranean; the view is breathtaking and the sunset is amazing! There is a beach about 400 m away on foot, but the climb back is very steep; however, a long fine-sand beach in a rather wild landscape where you can put up your parasol is about 3 minutes by car: Giallonardo Beach. The Valley of the Temples is about a 30-minute drive away. I recommend visiting at the very end of the afternoon to enjoy the sunset and then the temples illuminated at nightfall, magical!

The B&B Monterosso is really worth recommending. The rooms are very stylish and modern. Everything is very clean and the service is excellent. Also, the host Donatella is super friendly and helpful, giving lots of tips on what to do and where to eat. It was a truly lovely stay here. There is a great homemade breakfast on the beautiful terrace with Sicilian delicacies, very tasty. The proximity to the beach is perfect. I highly recommend a stay at the B&B Monterosso to everyone. We would check in here again at any time. Top location, Best Breakfast, warm welcome, cozy and friendly! This is how a holiday should be.
