The B&B Mediterraneo Mare e Sole is the territory on the coast of Palma di Montechiaro, Gibildolce n. 73, (SP84), a few miles from Agrigento, one of the most beautiful coast of Sicily facing Africa, where the sun, at the end of the day, is thrown into the sea creating the African unparalleled color and wonderful.
Five hundred meters from the B&B Mediterraneo Mare e Sole is located in Marina di Palma, with its local and sandy beaches, where you can make healthy walks at night after a dinner of typical and genuine products.
Ten minutes drive from the B&B Mediterraneo Mare e Sole arrives in San Leone, another seaside resort, with its cafes, even outdoors, offering entertainment of various kinds, lasting until dawn.
Located six kilometers from the B&B Mediterraneo Mare e Sole there is the town of Palma di Montechiaro with its architectural treasures such as the mother church, the palace of the Piarists, who in 800 was a place frequented by young aristocrats of culture throughout Italy, now home the municipality, the ducal palace, where the "Tomasi" dwelt at length.

Breakfast
Breakfast is served in a special room indoors during the winter and in the covered terrace in the summer or when the weather allows. For breakfast is served at the pleasure cappuccino, tea, chocolate, espresso or coffee into English. On the breakfast table there are croissants, marmalade cream, honey cream, biscuits, butter cream, yogurt, fruit juices of different types depending on the season and even the fruit that we produce on site (fig, mulberry, red cherry, pear, etc.) and water in sealed bottle. Of course this is a pattern type of breakfast is served, but it depends on personal preference, you can also ask for a made bread and cold cuts (salami, ham, bacon).

It is a nice experience to be there, 5 minutes from the beach, meeting nice and friendly people suggesting new places to explore. We recommend this place, very quiet and peaceful.

With my girlfriend we had a good time. The bed and breakfast offers breathtaking views, especially from the breakfast terrace overlooking the sea. The room was very clean and spacious, a pity for the shower that had leaks. Breakfast was decent and the owner of the bed and breakfast was friendly and helpful. We requested a savory breakfast but we were asked for an extra payment. The private parking was convenient.

We found the great terrace very beautiful. Since we also had a small fridge in the room and could use the fridge in the kitchen, we enjoyed a snack with chilled white wine on the terrace after a nice day of excursions. The car is parked safely in the closed courtyard. Communication with the landlady was excellent and she responded immediately, as we booked on the same day. Sweet Italian-style breakfast.

We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful structure near Marina di Palma in a quiet area overlooking the sea. The welcome from Laura was beautiful. Always helpful and smiling. She knew how to indicate places to visit and beaches nearby. The breakfasts were abundant and well cared for, with homemade cakes and sweets. The room was cleaned daily with a beautiful equipped terrace (two sunbeds, table, and chairs) where you could sunbathe or watch beautiful sunsets. In short, a stay that particularly satisfied us and that we will recommend to relatives or friends who might go in that direction. The only downside, which cannot affect the positive judgment of the managers as surely done in good faith, is the charge for the stay made on the credit card by the managers' initiative, whose details had been communicated as "guarantee" of the reservation. This procedure provided only for a possible "no show" (customers who book and do not show up) borders on an undue use of credit cards and in any case puts the cardholder in a bad light at the bank. It would have been better to proceed with payment using the physical card (which I had with me) via POS or at least ask for my prior consent. I think these are things to consider for the future... but as I said, the judgment remains absolutely positive for the experience lived. Thanks again Laura.

"Mediterraneo Mare e Sole" will be the highlight of our beautiful trip to Sicily. Extremely warm welcome, very clean rooms, well equipped with a large terrace facing the sea, very decent breakfast that can be enjoyed on the terrace if desired, excellent value for money. Goodbye!

Charming hosts, wonderful sea view, very nice clean rooms, a car is needed, beautiful beaches and cities not reachable on foot. We liked it very much as the whole family was committed to helping with everything, all top!

Il problema è stato il nostro, soggiornare solo un giorno in questa meravigliosa struttura e con gestori così cordiali è un vero peccato. B&B di qualità superiore ben curato in tutto dagli arredi alla pulizia, ottima ospitalità e ricca colazione, io e la mia famiglia vi ringraziamo di cuore e spero di ritornare presto per un soggiorno molto più lungo. Io e mio marito siamo contenti di essere i prima a raccontare che posto fantastico è questo B&B gestito dai coniugi Amato che si sono subito rivelate persone veramente amabili ed accoglienti, con cui abbiamo subito creato un bel rapporto!
Anche laika, la loro trovatella, che ti accoglie con discrezione. Se passate da quelle parti non esitate.. pulizia e confort renderanno il vostro soggiorno indimenticabile!!!
