Description
Mariposa B&B is a newly established accommodation facility that features four classically furnished rooms equipped with all the amenities: air conditioning, mini fridge, LCD TV, and all rooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers and hairdryers.
Every morning, breakfast will be served on the spacious first-floor veranda, where you will get to taste our Sicilian delights, including seasonal fruits, homemade jams, and warm bread with our local olive oil, as well as many other specialties.
Our property is located in the center of two gardens, on the main street of the town, about 500 meters from the beautiful white sandy beach, and just 5 minutes from the pedestrian area and the town center where you can find shops and various restaurants that will delight you with typical Sicilian cuisine, including the inevitable couscous, which is the most famous and typical dish of San Vito Lo Capo.
Furthermore, our property also offers free private parking.

Hello, I'm Filippo. Together with my family - Giusy, Pietro, and Alessandra - we've decided to offer our home to welcome travelers who not only want to spend their vacation at the beach but also want to discover the culture of hospitality, unspoiled nature, and authentic flavors of our Sanvito's cuisine.
I love to travel and always try to bring something back from the cultures and people I encounter. I'm a lover of greenery and flowers, and my son Pietro shares my passion for animals. Our garden is home to our little friends, such as land and water turtles, exotic birds, fish, and our mixed breed dog, Whisky, who is a part of our family!
I'm a foodie (as you can see!) and enjoy cooking a lot. So, I'll surely offer some advice on our typical dishes.
What else can I say? The best compliment we receive from our guests when they leave is "WE FELT AT HOME," and that's really important to us.

I stayed for a week at this property with my boyfriend. Everything was perfect. The location is great, on one of the main streets of San Vito and close to the sea. The room was meticulously cared for, with impeccable cleanliness. Giusy and Filippo are super friendly and pampered us every morning with a delicious breakfast.

Giusy and Filippo are two fantastic people, they pay great attention to their guests, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the fantastic breakfast. Moreover, they are very helpful as they gave us many valuable tips on what to do during our stay! I recommend it to all those who want to visit San Vito Lo Capo, it will be like being at home.

Giusy e Filippo due persone eccezionali, ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa.
Colazione preparata, stupenda.
San Filippo: protettore del pane "cunzato" fatto in casa.
Abbiamo soggiornato addirittura un giorno in più del previsto.
Se torneremo in Sicilia il Mariposa sarà una tappa obbligata.

Ho soggiornato al Mariposa col mio fidanzato dal 23 al 25 giugno 2016.
Il Mariposa è facilissimo da trovare e si trova in una posizione molto comoda (sul corso principale e a due passi dal supermercato).
La proprietaria Giusy e suo marito si sono dimostrati da subito degli osti impeccabili e pieni di attenzioni.
Al nostro arrivo, dopo aver potuto lasciare la macchina nel parcheggio interno, siamo stati accolti con due fette di torta appena sfornata.
La camera era ampia, pulitissima, fresca, profumata e silenziosa; il letto molto comodo e il bagno spazioso.
La colazione è sicuramente il punto forte: brioches e ciambelle, pane cunzato, pane e panelle, frutta, yogurt e chi più ne ha più ne metta.
Inoltre, Giusy ci ha dato preziosi consigli su ristoranti dove andare (e anche su quelli da evitare), su escursioni varie (consigliatissima quella in barca alla riserva dello Zingaro e a Scopello con hippocampus) e ci ha perfino dato un ombrellone per la spiaggia.
Insomma, voto 10+, ci torneremo di sicuro.
