The Maqueda Suites is located in the historic centre, just 50 metres from the pedestrian Via Maqueda, the most important and visited street in Palermo, where you can take beautiful walks or sit in one of the many bars. You will find restaurants, pizzerias, bars, pubs and shops of all kinds. The Maqueda Suites is strategically located, as it allows you to visit all the most important monuments in Palermo. To name but a few: Cathedral, Palazzo Reale, Quattro Canti, Teatro Massimo, Piazza Pretoria, Cappella Palatina, Martorana Church. Then the unfailing markets: Capo and Ballarò, where you can taste Palermo and Sicilian cuisine.
Our rooms
We have two suites of 31 and 28 square metres respectively. All with en-suite bathroom, king-size bed (160x200), air conditioning for exclusive use, heating, sofa, smart TV 43 inches, kettle, safe, usb sockets, hairdryer, wi-fi (fibre), luggage rack and minibar.
We can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 travellers in:
1 suite that can accommodate 2 people (plus a cot for children up to 3 years old)
1 suite that can accommodate 4 people (in addition to the cot for children up to 3 years old)

You will be welcomed and assisted by managers who can speak Italian, English, French.

The rooms are located on the 4th floor of the building, but do not be put off by the exterior of the building, as once you enter the Maqueda Suites, you will be blown away with the size of the rooms, the cleanliness and the high standard of furnishings. It’s ideally located for the historic centre and main attractions as well as the more modern parts of the city too. The hosts Stefano and Elisabetta will certainly give you a good welcome and help with tips on sightseeing and good restaurants.

Per quanto riguarda la comunicazione per l’ingresso (come la definisce lei), le ricordiamo che ha dimenticato la card dentro la camera ed ha chiamato alla 01: 30 circa di notte ad uno di noi con una chiamata tramite whatsapp. Il cellulare non era collegato alla rete, ma avrebbe potuto effettuare una chiamata normale. Cosa che non ha fatto. Però ci fa piacere che dopo due due giorni abbia effettuato un’altra prenotazione presso il Maqueda Suites. Ció dimostra che prima si era trovata bene, altrimenti non sarebbe ritornata. Cordialmente, Stefano.

The structure is located in a strategic position, in the center of Palermo and is convenient for all visits to points of interest. The rooms are brand new and spacious. Convenient also for taking public transport that takes you to visit the surroundings. Attentive, present and never intrusive management. An excellent base and a reference point for the next times.

Our stay was perfect, from the welcome of the owners to the possibility of leaving our luggage for the last visit to the city. The room was new, clean, spacious, and equipped with all comforts. Excellent location near many points of interest and shopping. The owners were very kind, nice, available, and never intrusive. Highly recommended B&B!

We were in December with our eight-year-old daughter for a two-day trip to Palermo. We booked the apartment at the last minute and were very satisfied with both the furnishings and the hospitality of the host family. The apartment is centrally located in the old town, just 5 minutes from the lively Via Maqueda, which invites you to stroll with numerous cafes, shops, and restaurants. All major attractions are easily reachable on foot. A big plus point is the possibility to park a car about 100 meters away in a secure parking lot organized by the host. Although parking is not cheap, it is definitely worth it. The apartment is located in an old building, which is not surprising when booking accommodation in the old town. The stairwell was clean, and we were particularly delighted with the nostalgic elevator with wooden doors that we had to open and close ourselves. Our daughter had a lot of fun with it and even made some great explanatory videos. The accommodation is run very professionally: modern furnishings, electric shutters, a comfortable shower, and comfortable beds. We found the small refrigerator with provided drinks particularly practical. The room was cleaned and tidied during our stay, which we greatly appreciated. A highlight was the well-functioning heating that kept us pleasantly warm during the cool December temperatures. Our host Stefano was extremely friendly, helpful, and always easily reachable. All in all, it was a perfect choice, and we can recommend this accommodation without reservation.

Excellent stay and warm welcome. Room with every comfort and very clean. The area is very central and convenient for city visits. The building from the outside is a bit neglected just like the neighborhood but the suite is very nice. To recommend.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The environment is furnished with care and sophistication, and the owners are really very friendly and welcoming. You feel at home right away.

The Panorama suite where we stayed is brand new and very functional. The building in the historic center of Palermo is similar to many others, but inside the suite is comfortable, bright, and well-furnished. The owners Stefano and Elisabetta were very kind and helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable.

We returned today after a 3-night stay, we found a beautiful and super clean room. Stefano, the host, and his wife were caring, kind, and attentive to needs that in other places are never taken into consideration. They welcomed us, advised us, and helped us with the needs we expressed. Absolutely top not only for the location but for everything. I highly recommend it.

Central location near via Maqueda and via Roma, therefore convenient to move around the historic center and visit the main monumental sites of the city. Public transport is also easily accessible on the nearby Via Roma. We stayed in 3 in the Politeama room, functional and welcoming, recently renovated and very clean. Warm welcome from the managers, Stefano and Elisabetta, also available to provide any directions. Absolutely recommended.
