After thirty years managing hotels and professional kitchens across Italy and abroad, Lida and Giuseppe chose to settle in the heart of Marzamemi. Here, they breathed new life into the family home of Grandma Antonina, daughter of the tonnara’s last Raïs (the historic leader of the tuna fishery).

From this deep connection, MaNanna B&B ('My Grandmother') was born—a place where decades of luxury hospitality experience meet the warmth of a private home. "Choosing MaNanna B&B means waking up just steps away from the heart of the village. A very short stroll will bring you to the magical Piazza Regina Margherita, where you can admire the balconies of Palazzo Villadorata and breathe in the history of the 1752 Tonnara.
We are located at the southernmost tip of Sicily, where the sea embraces the Val di Noto. Marzamemi is not just a charming village, but the perfect base for discovering the gems of Sicilian Baroque, surrounded by endless beauty.
A few tips for your arrival: Our location is unbeatable: only 70 meters from the main square and just as close to a convenient private parking area (paid). To protect the village’s beauty, the center becomes a pedestrian zone (ZTL) on weekends in April and May, and every day from June to September (starting at 11: 00 AM).
Our suggestion: If you arrive before 11: 00 AM, you can drive right up to the B&B entrance to comfortably unload your luggage. We’ll be there waiting to guide you to the nearest parking!"?

Excellent property in the center of Marzamemi,literally a stone's throw from the famous little square and also close to the Spinazza beach,where you can find various lidos and free beaches. The rooms are clean and equipped with every necessary amenity (TV,fridge,air conditioning,hairdryer,etc.). The price,compared to other much less cared-for places,I would say,is fair. The real plus of the property,however,are Lida and Giuseppe,who made us feel at home and accommodated without problems the requests we had made for our 11-month-old son. The breakfast prepared every morning by Giuseppe also deserves a positive mention. It is not an abundant buffet,but it is certainly a complete breakfast with everything (a different cake every morning,plus homemade jam,fresh fruit,yogurt,cereals,cookies and more). On request he also prepares something savory on the spot. If we have the chance again,we will definitely come back.

We spent our vacation in Sicily at this B&B and the experience was fantastic. Lida and Giuseppe know how to make their guests feel at home. In this B&B, guests can expect availability, professionalism, and exceptional human warmth. The rooms are equipped with every comfort, ensuring cleanliness and comfort. Breakfast is a real dream, with everything homemade. Every morning, there is a sweet made by Giuseppe waiting for you. His cannoli are simply fabulous! Our advice is to visit this place and come back as soon as possible. Thank you for everything Lida and Giuseppe!

Highly recommended place, the guest feels at the center of attention. Giuseppe and Lida are very friendly and professional, always ready to give some advice on places to visit. Excellent location just a stone's throw from Marzamemi square. P.S.: Giuseppe's crêpes and cannoli are fantastic.

Holiday at the beginning of September 2020. Clean, delightful structure, carefully maintained by the hosts Giuseppe and Lida. Breakfast always with fresh products, worth mentioning are the desserts prepared by Giuseppe. They advised us throughout the stay, always with lovely availability. We practically felt like family! We can only suggest you to be guests of theirs!

I highly recommend to all those who intend to visit the southeastern part of Sicily to stay at MaNanna B&B. Excellent value for money. Spacious, clean, well-kept room with a sea view terrace, air conditioning, and a minibar that proved essential for water and fruit, given the high temperatures of the area. As soon as we arrived, my friend and I found a room and a tray of delicious pastries. The owners Lida (who used to be a hotel manager) and Giuseppe (former chef) are two wonderful people who made us feel at home. Every morning, in addition to the rich breakfast, Giuseppe made a cake with typical local products. Every day they gave us excellent advice on what to see and how to get to the places. A wonderful holiday certainly enriched by our experience at MaNanna B&B. I hope to return as soon as possible.

New and welcoming structure, located 2 steps away from the center, the sea and the parking lot, the managers are very kind and friendly, they made us find a tray with truly exquisite almond pastries, the breakfast is very refined accompanied by the delicious cakes of Giuseppe, a greeting to Lida. I recommend it.

In a great location and recently renovated, this MaNanna B&B is very welcoming. The managers are friendly and helpful. A pleasant surprise for breakfast are the walnut muffins personally prepared by the chef and owner Giuseppe and the excellent homemade jams.

The structure is new, tastefully decorated with attention to detail, and very central to the tourist heart of Marzamemi. The room we stayed in ("Zagara") is spacious, comfortable, well furnished, and extremely clean, also equipped with a small terrace from which you can see the sea. The breakfast, abundant and delicious (the chocolate cake and bananas were excellent), was served in a room on the ground floor with tablecloth, dishes, and cutlery of very delicate taste, which, like other details of the structure, reflect in my opinion the authentic pleasure of hosting and sharing of the owners, who made us feel really comfortable throughout the stay. We will return.
