Located in the centre of Ragusa, the “Le Stanze del Sole”, is a sophisticated urban residence built in the 30s and offers a perfect alternative to a hotel. The typical “palazzo” was refurbished with a modern touch but in keeping with the materials of the original architecture. It is positioned in a very suggestive spot close to the main historical axis of the city, connecting the historical centre of Ragusa and the beautiful urban landscape of Ragusa Ibla, the ancient ragusian settlement.
The residence’s interiors reflect a elegant, stylish but sober taste and the location of “Le Stanze del Sole” is ideal for discovering the beauty of the antique monuments and the secret corners of Ragusa Ibla, as well as for exploring the Noto Valley among hills, antique caves, beaches, architectonic jewels, natural reservoirs and archeological sites.
“Le Stanze del Sole” offers four bright rooms, comfortable and smart, distribuited on three levels and connected by a typical staircase in stone, in line with the tradition of the antique houses of Ragusa Ibla.
All the rooms, furnished with modern taste and simplicity, include an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, TV LC, internet, minibar, safe, hairdryer and entry phone.
The character and the connection with the tradition and the surrounding territory are emphasized by the pictures displayed within the residence, enhancing the particular link between the current interior design trends and the landscape glimpses of this incomparable part of Sicily.
Guests can chose to use the room service, as well as enjoying the breakfast served by the personnel in the small lounge area. For groups greater than 8 people it will also be possible, prior agreement with the manager on price and time, to use the kitchen in order to prepare the breakfast.

The bed and breakfast Le Stanze del Sole is a new, very clean structure with an excellent quality/price ratio. The structure is located just a short walk from the central square of Ragusa and allows, if desired, to reach Ragusa Ibla on foot. Adele is a very courteous, attentive, and helpful host. The breakfast, with local products, is abundant and of excellent quality.

For us, it was the first time in Sicily: there is so much to see, it is difficult to choose, but it would certainly have been a mistake to exclude Ragusa from our itinerary. Refined and elegant, Ragusa has a particular charm and is worth the trip on its own. It would also have been a real shame not to find accommodation at "Le Stanze del Sole": beautiful, very clean, quiet, tastefully furnished, Le Stanze del Sole is more than a bed and breakfast: it is a true oasis of pleasure and relaxation where one can recover from a long journey and where, guided by the precise and disinterested advice of the hostess, one can prepare for an evening in the enchanting Ibla. Adele welcomed us with warmth and availability, giving us the right tips to savor the authentic taste of the city. Dinner at Vincenzo and Gabriella's restaurant "Ai Lumi", waking up in the morning with delicious coffee accompanied by excellent pastries and other baked goods, the scaccia from Giumarra for an afternoon picnic, made our stay in Ragusa an unforgettable experience. Thank you.
