It is the first Boutique hotel in Modica, the capital of southeast Sicily. Le Magnolie is a small palazzo dating from the 1700s, set in the heart of the city’s historical centre. It has seven comfortable rooms, where guest can experience “ the true Sicily”, our work commitment, a warm reception in the large communal areas of the hotel, our love for tasting the wine from our antique cellar, admiring wonderful “ halved pomegranates” on the roof-deck, from where there is a magnificent view of lower and upper Modica.

A ‘no frills’ place well located in Modica Bassa.
One needs to be able to walk up a significant slope &/or steps.

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff was also very nice. The view from the rooftop is great. The only negative point is that the hotel is situated in a pedestrian area. So if you have problems walking up and down (the way is a little bit steep) it is not quite perfect. For us it was really the best choice.

I booked a room for my parent's 30th anniversary and they really enjoyed their stay here. The staff was friendly and knowledgable, the rooms were modern yet still expressed Modica's baroque style, the views were breathtaking and breakfast was delicious. Thank you for making my parents celebration better than expected!

Siamo stati molto bene, praticamente nel corso centrale di Modica. Il vero plus della struttura è la terrazza panoramica. Se devo trovare un difetto, il condizionatore è rumoroso, quindi è impossibile dormire se è acceso. Per il resto, tutto bene.

Posizione ottima, ristrutturazione egregia e quella volta dipinta la ricorderò per sempre.
Solo un po’ scomodo l'arrivo se avete tanti bagagli, ma si è in pieno centro.

Siamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti della struttura, della pulizia e della posizione, ma il prezzo è stato super! Abbiamo preso una quadrupla, stanza enorme, composta da una grande matrimoniale e un'altra stanza di ingresso dove sono stati posizionati i due lettini. Nonostante ciò, restava molto spazio e vi si trovava anche un divano.
Forse a questo punto, si potrebbe creare un divano letto per rendere la stanza ancora più funzionale. Considerando che uno dei lettini è un po' la classica brandina di albergo, questo potrebbe essere risolvibile con il divano, ma questo è solo un mio parere. La stanza era così ben pulita che si poteva camminare tranquillamente a piedi scalzi.
La colazione era semplice ed equilibrata. Abbiamo trovato personale accogliente, presente e discreto. La struttura è adiacente alla via principale. L'unica pecca, se dobbiamo necessariamente trovarne una, è che avendo sbagliato strada ci siamo persi nel saliscendi dei vicoletti di Modica a piedi. Tuttavia, una volta raggiunta la struttura, è stato tutto semplice.
La struttura si trova su una piccola strada in salita, un bel lastricato. A differenza di alcune recensioni, non lo trovo un valido motivo per dare un voto negativo. Anzi, rende più caratteristico e suggestivo l'ubicazione.
Spero di ritornarci quanto prima. Grazie per averci accolto così bene, rinnovo i complimenti alla struttura e allo staff.

Struttura caratteristica nel cuore di Modica. Bisogna fare un po' di scale per arrivarci. Terrazza stupenda da cui ammirare la città.
Gestori disponibili, gentili e professionali.
Colazione adeguata e fresca, anche se senza cioccolato.
Camera enorme e accessoriata, anche se con odore di "cantina" tipico delle antiche case nella pietra.
Hotel romantico. Consigliato.

Ottima posizione, struttura nuovissima, camera quadrupla spettacolare. Peccato che per raggiungerlo si fa una stradina in ripida salita lasciando l’auto sulla via principale, solo per questo ho dato 9 anziché 10, però la posizione è centralissima e comoda per visitare Modica a piedi.

Struttura di recente ristrutturazione moderna, i gestori molto accoglienti disponibili, piacevole il fatto che presenti una cantina in grotta con una buona scelta di vini. La terrazza sovrastante la struttura offre una meravigliosa panoramica sulla città. Ci siamo fermati tre notti e siamo stati bene. Da migliorare la proposta della colazione. La posizione è favorevole per la visita sia di Modica alta che di Modica bassa. Tutto sommato molto consigliato.

Hotel molto pulito, camere grandi e arredate con stile, con tetti dipinti a mano raffiguranti i fiori. Nella nostra c'erano dipinte le calle, qualcosa di estremamente particolare, letto comodissimo. L'albergo gode di una terrazza attrezzata di tavoli, sedie e ombrellone dalla quale puoi vedere Modica alta con il suo orologio del Castello dei Conti. Veduta molto bella di giorno ma spettacolare di sera quando la città è illuminata. E per chi volesse gustare un buon vino può farlo in una bella cantina scavata nella roccia.
Posizione Hotel ottima, alle spalle della via principale facilmente raggiungibile da una scala.
Un ringraziamento particolare al signor Roberto che ci ha raccontato la storia di Modica e dei modicani e inoltre ci ha consigliato sui Musei e i luoghi da visitare. Per chiunque volesse alloggiare a Modica vi consiglio di prenotare Hotel delle Magnolie, non ve ne pentirete di sicuro.
