"Le Antiche Cisterne" Bed & Breakfast is an eco-sustainable accommodation that represents the highest level of innovation in the field of eco-friendly constructions.

Located in the heart of the historic center of Tremestieri Etneo, just a stone's throw from the famous Via Etnea, this structure is an oasis of peace and tranquility away from the noise of the city.

The Bed & Breakfast was created from the renovation of an ancient family oil mill dating back to several generations ago, and has been transformed into a welcoming and refined place that combines tradition and modernity. Thanks to the use of natural materials such as wood, white and lava stone, clay and other natural soils, a suggestive and unique environment has been created that celebrates the emotions and traditions of Sicily.

The B&B has a strategic position as it is located between the city of Catania and the slopes of Mount Etna, a few minutes from the Gravina di Catania motorway exit, E45 Tangenziale Ovest, from where it is possible to reach any destination. We are also, not far from the Policlinico Hospital, from the Cittadella Universitaria. and a few minutes from the center of Catania from where you can visit places of culture, the historic center and whatever else you want to visit.

Ideal for companies that want to host or for all those who do not like traffic and want to move quickly from one place to another without wasting time on traffic and parking.

Great Bed & Breakfast in a quiet but central area with a beautiful, well-maintained garden, swimming pool, a comfortable bedroom with a spacious en-suite bathroom and a traditional Italian breakfast. Tremestieri has a selection of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Excellent place to visit Catania or Etna from. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Strategic location. The managers are very kind and ready to give valuable advice to explore the area. Super clean room, like the rest of the complex. Possibility of internal parking. Super breakfast served in the outdoor garden. What can I say? The place and especially the lady managing it are exceptional.

First time at this Bed and Breakfast, we booked 11 and occupied the 4 available rooms on two levels for one night. Extremely positive experience, very kind owners, cozy and tastefully furnished rooms. Exceptional breakfast and hospitality! The entire structure is the result of a skillful restoration respecting nature and eco-sustainability, and it shows! Our 2-year-old child enjoyed pleasant walks on the lawn and also met the three kittens Luna, Sole, and Nuvoletta. If the opportunity arises again, we will gladly return.

You are welcomed in a beautiful, well-kept and spacious garden, where you can have breakfast in the morning. Clean and well-kept rooms. A kitchen area with a fridge in case of need. The friendly hosts and the breakfast offered for variety, quality of the homemade food was a pleasant surprise.
