The B&B is situated right at the black sandy beach of the small fishing village Rinella on the island of Salina and offers 3 rooms with air conditioning for 2-4 persons - falling asleep with the sound of the sea included. All rooms have direct access to the sun terrace, reminiscent of a ship's bow from where you might even spot some dolphins. On the terrace overlooking Lipari, Vulcano, Sicily and Mount Etna we serve the Italian breakfast with cornetti, cappuccino, fresh orange juice and daily changing international breakfast surprises. The guests can use 2 bathrooms and relax in a picturesque garden with hammocks between olive trees, overlooking the sea.
Rinella, located in the south of Salina, is the island’s sunniest spot all year round. The B&B is very family friendly as close to the beach and in a quiet location, there are no roads within a radius of 200 meters. The ferry terminal connecting Rinella with the neighboring islands is just a short walk from the house and the island’s only sandy beach is right outside the door. Rinella’s position is ideal as a base for hikes on the mountains. In the village there are several bars and restaurants and a small grocery store. The island’s central location in the heart of the archipelago is perfect as a starting point for excursions to neighboring islands.
The B&B is also gallery and office of a Sicilian photographer (Have a look at the price infos to find out about special offers for artists - pay with your art!) and a German tour guide who takes guests on tours of the cinematic history of the Aeolian Islands and to culinary tours with cooking classes and tastings of wine, capers or olive oil.
