Our first impressions were that it was a bit of a strange set up, as the hotel is actually an apartment in a block near the port, with reception area, small breakfast area and several rooms off the corridor. But once we were in it all made sense and we were very pleased to be there. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were in a large family room with two double beds, plenty of storage, a fridge and a well appointed modern bathroom. The best part of our stay were our hosts. They were friendly, very welcoming, spoke excellent English and offered us drinks and biscuits on arrival. They also offered different options when serving us breakfast and were great with the kids. They were fantastic in recommending where to go and what to see in Palermo, showing us on a map some of the highlights. As a result we got to see things that we wouldn't have seen, and we ate in two restaurants that they recommended - the one in Capo market was particularly good. So we would definitely recommend staying here and listening to the advice of the hosts!

Outstanding in all regards. The hosts are exceedingly accommodating and solicitous! Everything was as pictured/promised. Extremely convenient to ferry terminal.

The central location but in a pedestrian area, the cleanliness, the modern and functional furnishings of the room, and the variety of breakfast would already be enough to justify my high rating. But in addition, the friendliness, availability, and practical information from the owners (Loredana and Daniele) are what, in my opinion, make the difference. La Finestra sul Porto was a random but successful choice. But now it is a reference point for my future stays in Palermo. I absolutely recommend it.

We stayed in 11, me and my whole family, and the evaluation is very positive. Solar and helpful managers, they gave us many tips and prepared a very good breakfast every morning. I recommend this bed & breakfast because it is really excellent in terms of quality and price and in a strategic location. Thank you for the beautiful stay.

Exceptional in every way! Brand new interiors, extremely clean and meticulously cared for; quiet location but just a stone's throw from the center. Lory and Daniele are very nice hosts. They gave us a lot of helpful tips on what to visit and eat in the city. The breakfast is very good and fresh, and they bought vegan milk specially for us. The room is pretty and clean. Thank you very much for this perfect trip!

Overall it has been a great experience, I highly recommend the place. The only thing I would like to make a comment on is the breakfast. I think if the guests could have been left alone to help themselves in peace, it would have been much more enjoyable, as I felt uncomfortable being asked what I would like for breakfast. There wasn't anything extra that the host needed to do by asking that; the guests can help themselves to make coffee or enjoy the available buffet. It was just uncomfortable having two people watching you eat breakfast in the morning; it was just not a relaxing atmosphere. Others than that, it was a great and comfortable stay. Also, the host was extremely helpful in pointing us to different locations and providing helpful information. Many thanks for having us.

This apartment is in excellent condition, well decorated and we felt at home right away; it is true that Lory & Daniele are exceptional, kind, helpful, available, very pleasant, which made our stay magnificent and unforgettable! Excellent B&B, modern, very welcoming. Daniele and Loredana are very special hosts, we felt like among friends.

We stayed at this bed and breakfast the day after our wedding, waiting to embark on the cruise ship two days later. Super kind and helpful owners, as soon as they found out we had been married for a day, they immediately gave us the suite instead of our room (thanks again for the kind gift). Location facing the cruise terminal but at the same time very close to the center. Highly recommended.

My husband and I have traveled to many places in Sicily. Arriving very late after the ferry from Genoa was four hours late, the hotel owners couldn't have been more welcoming and kind. Our room was comfortable and beautiful. The shower and bathroom were well-furnished. The breakfast served by the host was plentiful and delicious. We will definitely return to this charming hotel. Spring weekend in Palermo, a city that will make you fall in love with its colors and warmth. In this sentence I also express everything I found at the b&b La Finestra sul Porto: the warm welcome of the hosts who surprise you with their genuineness, their hospitality that goes well beyond what you expect. We are right in front of the port but very close to the central area that you can reach with a pleasant walk. I also think it is well served by public transport, but we never used it. The room and bathroom are modern and very tidy, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. What to say about breakfast? I can't find the necessary words, not only will you be spoiled with special Sicilian sweets, but everything you imagine and even more they offer you. I won't dwell any longer, the other reviews already tell everything there is to know and what we also found. Instead, I want to stop to tell you more about the welcome you will receive. With Loredana and Daniele you won't feel like customers at all, but dear friends who offer you everything to make you feel good. Breakfast is the time when you meet and chat, a lot and even more. Daniele is an endless source of information about his city, I have never found anyone who could involve you so intensely with his stories and curiosities. You will never get tired of listening to him. And what about Loredana? With her you talk about everything and more, about her life and your life. Time never seems enough and you have to get up from the table too early to start exploring their wonderful city, which you have now learned to know and see through their eyes. Of course they will also be able to indicate everything practical you may need, and trust me, what they like will surely please you too. These are "friends" that at the end of the vacation you leave with regret and can't wait to come back to see.

Reviewing La Finestra sul Porto is complex because it is a special place. As soon as you open the bnb's door, we, who have already put on the 4 Hotel critic's hat, ready to search and find the detail, are surprised, because the atmosphere first makes us smile and then leaves us amazed at what we see. We are in the Christmas period and the delightful lights and decorations immediately make us feel elsewhere... In the meantime, the welcome from Daniele and Loredana is extremely professional and quick, but there is a light note in their voices that makes us feel welcomed like family and friends. And we wonder: if we don't even know each other, why do we feel this way? Okay, we check-in, always joking and laughing (and maybe even receiving a cookie and a coffee) and finally we get to the room. Those who, like me, when entering a hotel room, run their finger over the bed's headboard to check for dust, will have to resign themselves to not finding any. Even using Luminol, not even a speck of dust will be found, not a hair escaped the vacuum cleaner, not a smudge in the shower tray or on the shower glass... the disappointment will soon turn into frustration, as it will quickly become clear that at home we will never be so clean. At this point, angry about the humiliation, we change and go out hoping not to find anything to eat in the area. But no. We find taverns, bars, rotisseries, pizzerias one better and better reviewed than the other. And enough! All this perfection is starting to become annoying. We return hoping for a quiet night, but we already imagine that something will disturb our sleep and that the breakfast, both things we hope will make sense of our expert traveler level, and that will allow us to help other travelers with our ready professional review. And no, it won't be like that. We will sleep very well, in incredibly comfortable beds and in total silence, we will take a SPA shower and then we will discover that we underestimated the buffet shouting "diet, disappear" and "Hilton, move..." The check-out will be quick and painless from an economic point of view, because, to tell the truth, what's the point...? It will be difficult to separate from Loredana and Daniele who will let us go only when they see us full and satisfied. Otherwise, they won't settle. But where do you find other hosts like them? In short, staying here will turn you into a perfect customer for the psychotherapist, to whom you will have to go to rebuild your beliefs about bnb in general, because this place will put them all in question. Don't believe it? Try it.

Daniele and Loredana were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Always ready to help, recommend places to visit, and the best local spots to eat typical Palermo dishes. The hotel is located right in front of the commercial port, not in the very center but still convenient to reach the main points of interest. The room is new, clean and welcoming, equipped with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast is always plentiful and enriched by a nice exchange of words with the owners. Very welcome touch: upon arrival, we were asked if we had any special dietary needs, intolerances, or allergies to tailor the breakfast to our needs. We hope to return soon.

The stay has been great, especially thanks to Daniel and Loredana who have been fantastic in serving us and providing us with all sorts of explanations to get to know Palermo, you can tell they love their job.

We stayed as a couple in this property from May 18th to 21st and our evaluation is absolutely positive. The managers are friendly and helpful people and gave us valuable advice on places to visit and on typical restaurants and places to have lunch and dinner. The property is well-kept, excellent room cleanliness, good breakfast with typical products, strategic location near the port and a short distance from the historic center. The suite where we stayed is very beautiful and functional. Absolutely recommended.

Accommodation very well located, recent and tastefully furnished, less than 10 minutes walk from the city center. Private parking for a fee 100 meters from the accommodation and the owners are very welcoming. I will return if I go to Palermo.

Located on the third floor of a building facing the harbor and adjacent to a pedestrian street. 200 meters from the airport shuttle stop, very convenient. Super welcoming, Loredana and Daniele provided us with all the useful information so we wouldn't miss anything in Palermo. Clean and quiet room, top local breakfast products. A structure that I recommend.

I want to thank Daniele and Loredana so much who are special! They were very welcoming, kind, and caring. Every day they gave us different advice on where to go and what to visit in Palermo. For them, it's not a job but a passion and love for their city. Thank you! The room was clean and well-kept (the shower was spectacular). Everything was really modern and the view of the port was very suggestive. The location is more than excellent to visit Palermo and its surroundings. Cleanliness, friendliness, and sympathy are the trio that characterized our stay. Arriving late at night, Daniele and his wife welcomed us with kindness and professionalism making us feel immediately at home. The structure is located at the port but on foot, you can reach the center in a few minutes. In 10 minutes you are at the Teatro Massimo, in 15 minutes you reach the Cathedral, with electric scooters in the city, you can reach every corner of the city in a few minutes. One of the best choices was our stay at the wonderful Bed Breakfast. Clean and tidy rooms carefully equipped with every comfort, bathroom with chromotherapy. The location is convenient, close to the historic center and very close to the port of Palermo. The owners Daniele and Loredana welcomed us like friends right away, special people, it feels like being in the family. Breakfast for all with fresh Sicilian pastry products, the inn is truly the ideal choice to make the most of the holiday. I recommend it! We will definitely come back.

We spent a spectacular week in one of the themed rooms, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Loredana and Daniele pampered us with excellent, plentiful breakfast and quality products. Including the homemade cake. We will definitely come back. Thanks again to Loredana and Daniele.

We stayed at La Finestra sul Porto at the end of September. The managers are very kind and welcoming, we felt at home. The structure is impeccably clean, we will definitely come back.

What can I say... If only they were all like this! Perfect structure, fantastic owners.

Beautiful property, my partner and I stayed for five nights and had a great time. The room (Phoenician landing) is quite large, the air conditioning works perfectly, the cleanliness of the room is almost impeccable, the bathroom has a very spacious shower with chromotherapy (stunning and super relaxing after a super busy day!). There is a TV with NETFLIX SERVICE INCLUDED! This is not written but it is so, so you will have the opportunity to watch movies in industrial quantities and at no additional cost. Possibility to also have the minibar (paying extra of course). The house is located just a few meters from the port and the bus stop, 2 km from the central station and a few hundred meters from the center of Palermo, you can easily do everything on foot. Not to mention the staff, Daniele and Loredana, two young guys, very helpful and super welcoming, they made us feel comfortable right away and convey a lot of positive energy. Highly recommended 100%. Thanks again guys!

Congratulations! The best Bed and Breakfast experience I've ever had, Daniele and Loredana (the owners) are truly exceptional. They have created an environment where you feel welcomed like family, willing to recommend what to visit in Palermo, where to savor Sicilian cuisine, or where to go to best experience the city according to your needs. For example, they pointed out a newly inaugurated exhibition, places to enjoy the evening, where to meet the iconic figures of the city, and many other things of various interests. All this without neglecting professionalism, courtesy, and precision even with sometimes demanding guests. Given the current circumstances, it is worth noting the particular attention they have paid to all prevention and sanitization measures related to the spread of Covid-19, impeccable. As a final note, hopefully helpful for those interested, I had the opportunity to use the holiday bonus. From the first contact to request information on the use of the holiday bonus, I never had any problems and the procedure upon arrival was very quick. I renew my compliments to Loredana and Daniele, when you meet people who are available, competent, and passionate about their work and therefore deserving of praise, it is right to do so.
