Description

The "Sicilian Cottage" consists of two small apartments, one measuring 35 square meters and the other 20 square meters. Both are equipped with air conditioning, television, private bathroom, and have an independent entrance from the main road.

In both apartments, you will also find a kitchenette with a refrigerator, perfect for enjoying a vacation with total independence.

Each apartment can comfortably accommodate two people, but if necessary, the 35 square meter one can accommodate up to four guests.

Terrible B & B, furniture from the 40s, the plaster was falling apart from the bathroom walls while I was drying my hair (with the hair dryer) and then I had to clean the floor and the dust rose to the ceiling. I am allergic to dust, my eyes became red and I couldn't stop sneezing. Hard and especially noisy mattresses, you couldn't move or even turn over. The curtain of the window in the room was short, as soon as you lay down you could see the window of the neighboring house, with the risk that they could see you. I do not recommend it to anyone. Everything needs to be redone as soon as possible.

The manager is very nice and approachable. The location is truly excellent. The only downside is that the bed makes a lot of noise when you move to turn around.

The apartment was somewhat old (the kitchen faucet didn't work, there was no lighter to light the fire, etc.) and the kitchen was small and had no dishes. Good location. A major drawback is that cash payment is required.

The property was good but there are improvements to make. My friend and I were upgraded to the bigger room for the first 2 days, which was for 3 persons, and then we moved to the smaller one on the last day but that was not an issue for us. The location was perfect because it was only 8-10 minutes from the city center by walk. Also, Giuseppe was a very nice host, although we couldn't meet him in person, we met his father who was a great guy too. Giuseppe helped us with what we needed and also gave us suggestions for places to eat. As I said, both of the apartments need some improvements but the overall experience was amazing. And the price I paid completely justifies it. We didn't pay extra for breakfast but I am sure the Sicilian food is amazing as I tasted it in other places around Catania.

Poor cleanliness, photos do not correspond to the current state of the rooms. The room was also lacking towels for the shower, there were only two small towels for the hands.
