Description
"The "Casa del Limoneto" is a newly opened guesthouse located in the ancient historical center of Favignana. It is situated in a garden with a typically island taste, full of lemon trees, orange trees, rose gardens, and Jasmine that spread a suggestive perfume.

It enjoys a strategic position as it is only 200 meters from the main square, about 500 meters from the beach of the village called "Praia" (reachable on foot), and 50 meters from the two main supermarkets.

The area where we are located and the surrounding places offer our guests the opportunity to dedicate themselves to shopping, admire local handicraft products, enjoy the view of the places and experience the flavors of the place thanks to various food and wine itineraries, follow cultural events that take place in various places on the island.

The House has recently been renovated and expanded to offer our guests the maximum comfort for their stay. It consists of 6 rooms with private bathroom, TV, hairdryer, and air conditioning. There is also an easy access entrance for people with disabilities that will lead them to their designated room.

The Breakfast Room is located in a covered and windowed veranda, with a view of the garden. Guests can choose whether to have the first meal of the day in the designated room or in the outdoor spaces of the house, perfect for relaxing.

We are a couple from the island and we have decided to restore and expand our house located in an underground garden that was once owned by my husband's parents. We did not cut down any trees to do this, because every plant in our garden deserves to stay where it is, planted with love by those who came before us. Some trees are over a hundred years old, and other new plants have been added by us. The underground gardens are located in ancient tuff quarries that were once abandoned and filled with soil and grown with citrus trees, vines, vegetables, and even flowers to be cut, which grew lushly sheltered from the winds of the island.

The rooms of La Casa del Limoneto are lovely, tidy, and very clean, overlooking a wonderful garden scented with flowers and lemons. The breakfasts prepared by Gaetana are Nobel Prize-worthy, starting from the cookies, jams, and pistachio cheesecake. Gaetana, with her husband and daughters, are excellent hosts, always present and extremely helpful. Property HIGHLY recommended.

La Casa del Limoneto, a wonderful surprise! Our review starts with: read their website, read it well, without limiting yourself in any way to dream, because it will really be what they have written, even more! An intimate and familiar place, lemon, orange, mandarin, jasmine gardens, and truly exquisite people. Rooms always clean and complete with every comfort. Sweet and savory breakfasts, homemade cakes, citrus jams, what can I say? One leaves in the morning already happy! The wifi always works, which is a non-trivial plus. In the center, but quiet. For any doubt or advice, always available. The reviews read before booking fully satisfy, we are overjoyed! About them, and the beautiful island. Holiday from 1st to 10th October 2023.

The stay at La Casa del Limoneto added a unique charm to our holiday in Favignana. The family is lovely, we were lucky enough to participate in a 'couscous evening' that we will remember forever. Fantastic breakfast with different fresh cakes every morning. We will definitely come back!

La Casa del Limoneto is as welcoming as the family that runs it: there is great attention to detail, maximum care for the guest, impeccable cleanliness, and a rich breakfast, different every morning and always delicious. We will never forget the beautiful memory of the holiday in Favignana from the place that hosted us, and that's why when we return (because we will definitely do it!) we will want to stay here again. Welcoming. Location just outside the town, quiet, well served both on foot and with bikes. An excellent breakfast. An excellent guide and a rich source of advice on everything to see, taste, on experiences to encounter.

We had a great time, two minutes walk and you're in the center, we rented electric bikes from them to reach the beaches. Excellent breakfast and courtesy of the owners.

The family that runs the property is lovely. The Casa del Limoneto is close to the center. The breakfast is fantastic. There is the possibility to rent bikes on-site. The owners will be willing to help you with any advice. The rooms are nice, clean, and with air conditioning. What can I say? A place to come back to.

Family-run B&B with a unique sympathy and cordiality, from the first moment welcomed like old friends. The breakfast is super good, homemade cakes and cookies as well as delicious jams. The location is excellent, a stone's throw and you are in the center but away from noises and various disturbances. And the lemon groves do the rest making the stay even more pleasant. We had a great time and plan to return as soon as possible.

Delightful family-run Bed and Breakfast. Surrounded by lemons, jasmine, roses. A wave of delightful scents welcomes you as soon as you enter the road leading to the property. The location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the center. Clean, spacious, and well-maintained rooms. The property offers a bike rental service. The breakfasts are very good. The cakes, by Gaetana and Rosita, are a spectacle, not to mention the Moroccan with Alessia's pistachio cream, what a delight. A beautiful and unforgettable stay. Thank you again. Appena imboccata la strada privata che porta alla struttura, situata a 5 minuti dal centro del paese, si viene accolti dal profumo dei fiori e degli alberi da frutto: la casa del Limoneto è immersa infatti in uno splendido giardino, fatto di bouganville, ibiscus, rose e altri fiori, oltre che, naturalmente, da alberi di limone secolari. I proprietari sono molto cordiali e disponibili, tanto da accogliere i clienti come persone di famiglia. Le camere sono molto curate, i bagni spaziosi e forniti di ogni comfort. Presso la struttura è possibile noleggiare delle bici, anche elettriche, con cui esplorare l'isola lungo i suoi splendidi percorsi cicloturistici. La colazione è abbondante e prevede: torte e marmellate fatte in casa, dolci tipici dell'isola, frutta fresca, croissant, yogurt, cereali, focacce, toast.. La Casa del Limoneto è insomma come un angolo di paradiso! Consigliatissima.

Il b&b è bello e pulito, incantevole e profumatissimo il suo giardino. La famiglia Campo è gentile e accogliente e vi sapranno consigliare su cosa fare e vedere a Favignana. Buonissime le marmellate e i dolci fatti a mano dalla signora Gaetana. Le camere sono spaziose pulite non mancano di nulla e in particolare la camera Limone ha una splendida verandina privata. Il bb si trova in una stradina molto silenziosa l'ideale per rilassarsi, ma allo stesso tempo è anche molto vicino al centro, ai negozi, al porto e alla spiaggia con sabbia Praia. Quando ritorneremo a Favignana ci piacerebbe alloggiare di nuovo alla Casa del limoneto. Grazie per il piacevole soggiorno!

I proprietari sono gentilissimi e accoglienti. Ci hanno fatti sentire a casa! Ogni mattina abbiamo potuto assaggiare le marmellate ed i dolci preparati dalla proprietaria. Sarà difficile dimenticare la torta al passito, la cheesecake al gelo d'anguria e le cassatelle, grazie al proprietario Giuseppe per le tante cose che ci ha raccontato di Favignana e per la bellissima gita in barca con Roberto che ci ha consigliato.

La casa del limoneto è una soluzione perfetta per chi cerca una sistemazione semplice, ma non austera, a due passi dal centro della cittadina, ma in posizione tranquilla e silenziosa. Le camere sono confortevoli, non manca nulla. I gestori sono molto gentili e disponibili, ci sono venuti a prendere al porto in macchina e hanno dato diversi consigli su dove affittare bici e dove mangiare per ottenere anche dei piccoli sconti convenzionati. Se avremo la fortuna di tornare a Favignana sicuramente pernotteremo di nuovo qui.

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo soggiornato per 4 giorni a maggio in questo posto meraviglioso. La struttura è completamente avvolta da alberi di limoni, arance, mandarini, nespole e altri frutti, oltre a fiori, in particolare roseti. Gli ambienti sono arredati con gusto e la pulizia è impeccabile. La colazione abbondante e di ottima qualità, grazie alle mani della signora Gaetana che ogni mattina ci deliziava con torte, biscotti e marmellate, totalmente di sua produzione con la frutta del suo giardino. Il signor Giuseppe è stato sempre disponibile a darci consigli e suggerimenti per rendere il nostro soggiorno perfetto. Grazie alla Famiglia Manuguerra Giuseppe, Gaetana, Alessia e Francesco per l'ospitalità: rimarrà piacevolmente nei nostri ricordi.

Ho soggiornato alla Casa del Limoneto nel settembre 2016. I proprietari e la loro famiglia sono stati estremamente accoglienti. Ci sono venuti a prendere al porto. Abbiamo avuto delle colazioni fatte in case, variate e prelibate tutti i giorni. Ci hanno consigliato sul posto dove affittare delle biciclette elettriche e siamo state molto soddisfatte. Il posto é molto pulito. Bellissimo giardino. È tranquillo e si arriva in centro in qualche minuto. Lo raccomando caldamente.

La casa del limoneto è un posto bellissimo, immersa in uno splendido giardino, vicino al centro, ma in una zona molto tranquilla. È arredata con molto gusto, seguendo lo stile autentico dell'isola. I proprietari sono persone fantastiche e vi accoglieranno nel migliore dei modi. I profumi del giardino e i sapori delle colazioni ce li ricorderemo per un bel po', e siamo certi che ci ritorneremo presto.

Nuova struttura a 5 minuti dal centro storico. Poche camere confortevoli e spaziose, immersa in un giardino meraviglioso curato da Giuseppe.. Gaetana la moglie prepara colazioni indimenticabili con le sue torte ogni giorno sempre diverse e non parliamo delle marmellate "fatte in casa", Che bontà! Cortesia, gentilezza e disponibilità questo ho trovato alla casa del Limoneto. Lo consiglio a chi vuole trascorrere una vacanza con la V maiuscola! Io ci ritorno! Fulvia.
