Description
The "Ficus House" is a private villa surrounded by citrus groves, just a short distance from the sea (2 km) and Mount Etna, located in Guardia Mangano, a district of Acireale (CT).
The distance from the town center is 200 meters and the village is served by the main services (supermarket, pharmacy, newsstand, post office, etc.). The train station is just 300 meters away, and the A18 motorway exit at Giarre is only 4 km away.
The house is in an ideal location from a logistical and geographical point of view for a complete visit of eastern Sicily and beyond.
The accommodations for guests have been recently renovated (March 2003) using typical Sicilian materials such as lava stone and rustic terracotta.
The room has a private bathroom and a large adjoining lounge where a rich breakfast is served.
There is an independent entrance, a large courtyard in front, a green space with garden furniture where you can spend carefree hours in total relaxation, and a convenient covered car park.

The B&B is located in Guardia Mangano on the northern outskirts of Acireale (CT), just a thirty-minute drive from Mount Etna. It is situated in the countryside, surrounded by the citrus groves of the 'Riviera dei Limoni', a short distance from the coastal villages of the Ionian coast of Aci (approximately 2 km).
Our structure is geographically located in a strategic point: from here you can easily reach Acireale and its Thermal Baths, the splendid 'Riviera dei Limoni', which is only 2 km away, its characteristic coastal villages (S. Maria La Scala, S. Tecla, Pozzillo, Stazzo) and the sea of the magnificent 'Riviera dei Ciclopi' (8 km away), sung by Verga in "I Malavoglia", with the coastal villages of Acitrezza and AciCastello.
Taormina, Giardini Naxos, and the nearby Alcantara River Gorges, well-known tourist sites worldwide for their invaluable natural beauty, can be reached in just 20 minutes by car. In a day trip, it is possible to go as far as Syracuse, Ragusa, Caltagirone, Piazza Armerina, the Aeolian Islands, and Agrigento.
The entire area is dominated by the imposing silhouette of Mount Etna, which rises in all its majesty. The North and South slopes of the volcano can also be easily reached in just over half an hour. Upon request, guided tours of Mount Etna can be arranged through an agency connected to the B&B.

Prima volta in vita nostra in un B&B.
Trovato per caso su internet già alle foto postate sul proprio sito mi ha subito ispirato fiducia.
Una volta giunto sul posto il B&B di Simone è risultato migliore delle nostre aspettative.
Il proprietario, Simone, è stato sin da subito simpatico, accogliente e disponibilissimo.
Un ampio giardino molto curato a disposizione con TANTO DI POSTO AUTO E BICI!
Appartamento pulito, dotato di molti confort.
Se si ripresenterà l'occasione ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Già consigliato ad altri amici.

Siamo due coppie di ragazzi, eravamo reduci da una brutta esperienza ad acireale e abbiamo trovato questo B&B su internet. L'appartamento in cui abbiamo alloggiato si trova al piano terra di una villa poco fuori Acireale e a breve distanza dal mare; affaccia su un giardino curatissimo di cui si può usufruire (c'è anche un barbecue che si può usare) e l'appartamento è composto da un salottino con cucina attrezzata, due bagni, due camere da letto (una è nell'open space dove si trova anche la cucina ma è abbastanza appartata). I proprietari abitano al primo piano della villa e sono persone squisite. La colazione è abbondantissima e viene servita all'orario più congeniale ai clienti. Ci tornerei certamente! Consigliatissimo!
