Placed in the heart of Agrigento, B&B “Il Mandorlo” to be distant little meters from the railway station and of the buses, and is easy catch up through the main city and extra city ways of connection.

The structure, in fact, thanks to the own strategic position, very is connected to situated the archaeological ones of “Valle dei Templi” (3 Km) and to the fabulous beach of San Leone (6 Km), concurring, also, to easily catch up the main city ways (Via Atenea, the city drawing-room; Viale della Vittoria, from which it is possible to admire a truncated breath) and the historical center of the ancient Kerkent in which it is possible to make evocative walks and to admire architectonic works of value artistic and cultural (the Monastero di S. Spirit; the Cathedral; and above all the Church of S. Maria dei Greci whose pre-eminent characteristic, consists in the fact that came constructed over the rests of a temple Greek, of which can still today be admired some leaves of structure).

B&B “Il Mandorlo”, is equipped of independent income, a graceful one small terrace with gazebo in which, during the beautiful season, the breakfast is served, rooms very furnished and equip of all the comfort, in order to render the permanence of our hosts serene and comfortable.

The B&B is located a few hundred meters from the bus station and the city center. The manager was immediately available in providing us with information to reach the various sites to visit. Good breakfast and especially fresh croissants!

Close to the center, 5 minutes walk and you are in the village. The structure is not new but internally well maintained and clean. Breakfast is a 10: fresh bread, croissants, cappuccino or coffee, yogurt. The owner, serious and helpful, also indicated on our request some places to dine at choice. Non-invasive and useful key delivery in a box, so we could manage independently upon our arrival. Very convenient price, considering the breakfast I would say even more at an excellent price.

The bed and breakfast Il Mandorlo has a great proximity to the historic center, to the bus stops that lead to the splendid Valley of the Temples, to the seaside resorts and other places of cultural and artistic interest. Also close to the central train station. It's clean, cute, functional, has a well-functioning air conditioning, TV, private bathroom. Nice externally with plants and the gazebo to let the guests linger where they can enjoy a good breakfast with fresh local pastries and other things that the nice and friendly Mr. Rino made me find after a good rest and therefore a sweet awakening. Recommended for those who without high demands want to stay for work or vacation in this corner of Agrigento in via Imera, provided with the most important comforts and functionalities. A thanks to Mr. Rino and his staff.

B&B located close to the center of Agrigento, reachable on foot in no more than 15 minutes. The room was comfortable and equipped with everything necessary (including air conditioning). Mr. Adriano was very helpful and kind during our short stay.

Although true that the location may surprise the visitor, then Adriano (the manager) with his kindness and stories of the city of “Akragas” changes everything, making you remember being in a place of extraordinary historical richness.

Adriano is a friendly and accommodating host. The room was very good. The bed was comfortable, but the soundproofing between the rooms was quite average. Breakfast good but not plentiful.
