Description
The double rooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom, look out onto a green, quiet setting — a corner that takes newcomers by surprise. The original flooring, the shuttered windows, the paintings and furnishing details hold the memory of decades of life in this house.
Each room has its own personality: one for those drawn to the hushed atmosphere of antique furniture, another for those who love Sicily's more vibrant colours, or one for those who simply want a plain, restful space. Three different styles, the same care.
The house is located at Via Dammuso 64 — the very street that once housed the area's traditional dammuso constructions, a historic root we've chosen not to forget.
Just steps away: the sea, seafront fish restaurants, the Circolo Velico di Sferracavallo (the local sailing club), and the entrance to the Capo Gallo Nature Reserve, on the Sferracavallo side. Central Palermo is reachable in 10-15 minutes by public transport.
Check-in is in person. We're reachable throughout your stay.

Hey from Maria Ilaria
Today, Ilaria, a nutritionist biologist, welcomes you, with the same attention to detail applied to what surrounds us: the sea, the reserve, the land.
A house with history, always inhabited. That is why we know how to point out what is worth seeking, even when it is not in plain view.
Conditions
Area seaside
The sea, equipped beaches, seafood restaurants, and bus stops are reachable within a five-minute walk. Mondello is five minutes by car; the center of Palermo about twenty. Sferracavallo is not outside the city — it is within the city, but elsewhere. Entirely situated between the Capo Gallo Reserve and the Isola delle Femmine Reserve, the village offers a waterfront and internal trails ideal for those who do not give up running, trekking, cycling, or sailing even on vacation.
For those who want to explore, the location is convenient: the neighborhood is served by urban lines 614, 616, and 628, with direct connection to the city center and Mondello. A few minutes on foot is the Sferracavallo train station, on the Palermo–Airport metro line: getting off at Palazzo Reale–Orleans reaches the heart of the historic center — Palazzo dei Normanni, the Cathedral, Piazza Indipendenza — about 25 minutes; Palermo Centrale about 30 minutes. Falcone-Borsellino Airport is about 23 minutes in the opposite direction. Trains every half hour. Trapani, Erice, and Cefalù can be reached for day trips. A peaceful base in any season.

What guests say
Reviews emphasize the warm hospitality of Ilaria and her family, who offer attentive service and deep local knowledge. Rooms are consistently described as clean and comfortable, in a well-kept property with a pleasant garden. The B&B is well located near the sea and Sferracavallo center, with good transport links to Palermo. Guests particularly appreciate the generous breakfasts with Sicilian specialities (when available). Value for money is judged to be very good. The main downsides noted are occasional parking difficulties and, for some options, a lack of breakfast. This is an ideal place for travelers seeking an authentic, friendly Sicilian experience.
