Description

The "Cavalluccio Marino Fronte Mare" is a cozy guest house located in a privileged position on the Santa Tecla cliff in Acireale. This structure offers relaxing stays with a view of the sea. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a mini-fridge, a private bathroom with a shower box and have access to a private terrace that can be used as a solarium. The public beach is located just 100 meters from the entrance of the guest house.

B&B potentially very nice with some improvements needed. Unfortunately the bathroom smelled of urine and the shower glass is not cleaned. However, the view is fantastic.

Pleasant place that has seen better days, close to two excellent restaurants, with a great view of Etna and the sea. There is an exotic black lava beach nearby and it is in close proximity to Etna and Taormina, giving an authentic local feel.

Unfortunately, I have to give a low rating; the breakfast was not worthy of the place, few things presented compared to other B&Bs. Fruit and a cold plate (perhaps leftovers from the banquet held the night before). Upon our arrival, just outside the elevator, there were footprints on the floor that had never been cleaned. In the bathroom, the toilet was dirty and the towels were for 2 people when in reality we stayed in 3. What a pity!

This is a good b&b. Rooms are ok. Cleaning each day. Building is old, well maintained. There is no restaurant, they do only Mariages and baptisme. Beautiful surrounding and views. Privat parking 50 m away.

Unfortunately, breakfast starts at 8:30 AM. We, leaving early, had little offering, but they were available to prepare something for us in advance. The property is located outside the center of Acireale. Amazing view, the room with sea view is also very nice (even though without a balcony). Highly recommended restaurant by Lorenzo just a few steps away.

Very peaceful and tranquil bed and breakfast. Clean, nice rooms with a view. Fresh and abundant breakfast prepared daily with local products by Santina, a wonderful lady who makes you feel at home immediately. Parking available and close to the centre of Acireale. Thanks for a marvellous stay at Cavalluccio highly recommended!

Building poorly maintained. Breakfast, every day what was left over from the previous day, for three days with the same products, without changing any food, some already quite deteriorated. The owner, honestly, did not pay any attention to us either upon arrival or departure. Very good treatment received from the lady who served us breakfast, very kind.

I stayed one night in this establishment. The location facing the sea is very beautiful and suggestive. From a small terrace next to the door of the room, I was able to access a balcony with a view of the sea. The owner is welcoming and helpful. The buffet breakfast in an area with an opening that has direct access to the sea makes the place charming, ideal even for film sets. The quality to price ratio is very good.

Il Cavalluccio Marino Fronte Mare is a very charming Bed and Breakfast with stylish interiors and a great sea view. The staff member and servant Santina was particularly service-minded and had a professional and friendly attitude towards guests. Being a native German speaker, she made communication smooth. Unfortunately, as we rented an apartment, Wi-Fi turned out not to be available. The air conditioning efficiently kept the rooms cool.

Magnificent structure with a beautiful sea view, with the possibility of seeing it from a very white common balcony. The manager and the family are delightful and always available to meet the customer and their needs, like us, they listened to us and helped us with a smile, rare nowadays. As we have seen, thanks to the continuous renovations and the owner's special attention, it is perfect to visit at any time of the year. We would gladly return not only for the convenience but also for the abundant buffet breakfast, always replenished and above all, never frightened by any kind of request, very sweet the girl in charge of breakfast and more.
