We stayed for 3 nights at this lovely B&B and would gladly return. The property is excellent, new and well kept. Breakfast was plentiful and much appreciated for the homemade cakes and jams. For value for money I would give 11! 😍

Property managed very well by Gabriele and his mother Antonella, who prepares excellent sweets (cakes, cookies, jams). We stayed six nights and we had a great time. Also, Avola is a good base for visiting the Val di Noto.

We spent wonderful days at B&B Hybla Major, conveniently located in the center of Avola. The rooms are spacious, bright, spotless and equipped with every comfort. The welcome from Gabriele and his lovely mother Antonella was impeccable: every morning we were treated to an amazing breakfast, with homemade cakes, Sicilian sweets such as mosto cotto, brioche, artisanal jams (the quince jam was unforgettable!) and also a great savory option, all made with fresh local products. Relaxed, family-like atmosphere, cared for in the details. Thanks also to their friendly four-legged guests, who make the stay even more pleasant. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for authenticity, warmth and a truly comfortable stay.

The structure is welcoming and clean, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Mrs. Antonella is very kind and very good at preparing breakfasts with homemade sweets, bread, and yogurt. Avola is in an excellent starting point to visit Ragusa, Syracuse, Noto, Modica, and other places. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, clean room. The owner's mother and Mrs. Marinella are very welcoming. The breakfast with homemade products is excellent, the mandarin jam is top-notch. There is street parking in front of the B&B. We had a great time.

Hybla Major B&B is centrally located in Avola, allowing access to interesting places to visit. The room is new, kept very clean with all the sought-after amenities, from the TV to the safe to the fridge. Special praise for the abundant, varied breakfast, rich in homemade and quality products... particularly the mandarin jam and yogurt prepared by Gabriele's mother. Excellent value for money, I highly recommend this accommodation.

We rented a very nice room from the very nice owners. We got the second room, the windows of which faced a side street where real Sicilian people lived (great sound, great nature). I think there is a school on the main street, so the noise of the morning classes was very loud, but this should not be a problem in the summer. I can only recommend this accommodation to everyone.

We had a pleasant stay at this Hybla Major B&B from June 20th to 28th. The location is perfect for visiting the southern part of Sicily, and being just outside the center of Avola makes the nights quiet and peaceful. The room, very clean, is equipped with all the comforts: air conditioning, small fridge, TV. There is also a small safe, which is always useful to avoid carrying money or documents around when not needed. The bathroom is large and with a window. We gave a rating of 10 for cleanliness because we couldn't give it 11. Truly superb. The breakfast, abundant and varied, always offers fresh products, many of which are homemade. The owner made us feel comfortable right away and helped us discover unique places for their beauty with valuable advice, as well as being fully available for all our needs. Fantastic experience, we can only recommend it! We will definitely come back.

Gabriele was an absolutely perfect host, very professional, always took care of everything and was always attentive to us, suggested perfect beaches in the area. Check-in was absolutely easy and well organized. The location is relatively central, there are free parking spaces in front of the house, everything is easily accessible by car. It takes about 15 minutes on foot to reach the beach, where you can also rent umbrellas. The room is very clean and equipped with everything you need. Breakfast is absolutely sufficient and there is something freshly baked and homemade jams every day. For us, the best AirBnb in Sicily. Thank you Gabriele!

Excellent location, just a stone's throw from Avola Antica. Beautiful beaches are a 15-20 minute walk away. Rotisseries, ice cream shops, supermarket, and bakery within a 5-minute walk. The bus station is also very convenient for taking buses to Siracusa, Catania, Noto, and Marzamemi. Excellent reception and new structure. We will definitely come back!

I chose Hybla Major B&B for part of my vacation in Sicily with my girlfriend. I start by saying that the property is in a strategic location, making it very easy to reach all the points of interest in the area (cities and naturalistic routes: among others Syracuse, Cassibile caves, Noto, Vendicari reserve, Marzamemi); the parking, as we arrived by car, is on a spacious and safe street. The property appeared excellently cared for and organized from the first impact. We were welcomed by Gabriele and his mother, two lovely people; Gabriele provided us with very valuable information to make the most of our vacation, always available for any of our needs; as well as his mother, who also prepares the fantastic breakfast, rich in genuine and homemade specialties - sharing very interesting anecdotes about their preparation. The spacious room stands out for cleanliness and completeness of comfort, not least the greatly appreciated nighttime silence. Following the experience that was more than positive, although I am not used to writing reviews (this is my first for an accommodation facility), we can only recommend Hybla Major to anyone wishing to spend the best stay in southeastern Sicily; I take this opportunity to thank Gabriele and his mother again and say goodbye to them with affection.

Desire for a family vacation! Staying at the Hybla Major B&B means being pampered at every moment of the day. From breakfast to the excursions offered by the structure (compliments to the guides Gregorio Chiarenza and Andrea Morosini who made us fall in love with the Cassibile Reserve), from shopping tips to "tips" for typical flavors to discover for lunch or dinner. Gabriele and his mother are exceptional people and the structure is the demonstration of their sense of "hospitality": unique and exceptional! A hug of cordiality, to everyone. We will be back!

We stayed a week at the Hybla Major B&B as a base to visit this wonderful corner of Sicily. Cozy rooms, clean, comfortable bed, large shower in the bathroom. Super breakfast with homemade and organic products. Gabriele and his mother are excellent hosts, they gave us advice on visiting the most beautiful places and also the beaches. They also offered us a wonderful excursion to the Cavagrande reserve on the Cassibile river with the expert guide Gregorio, who accompanied us on this splendid tour with admirable passion and availability.

Nice property, located in a great spot in the city, with supermarkets, pizzerias, and other amenities very close by both by car and on foot. The hosts are lovely and very kind, they prepared fantastic, genuine, and delicious breakfasts for us every morning. The city is close to many other countries to visit; certainly, if I find myself in that area in the future, I will gladly return.

We spent a week at this property and we can't help but give it very high ratings! The Hybla Major B&B is quiet, bright, and extremely clean. The room and bathroom are very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is unforgettable thanks to Gabriele's mom, a true expert and passionate about healthy and natural ingredients. Fridge in the room (with water provided by Hybla Major B&B almost every day and for free), umbrellas available for guests, and a manager, Gabriele, always ready to listen to the customers' needs. Highly recommended!

The experience was absolutely pleasant. The property is in a great location, between the sea and the historic center, and is very well organized and clean. The room is modern and well furnished. The breakfast is the most pleasant surprise: Gabriele's mother made us find many delicacies prepared at home directly by her: yogurt, croissants, bread, biscuits, apple pie, and jams. Everything was exquisite and prepared with great care, passion, and a lot of attention to the raw materials used: ancient grain flours, sourdough, fresh eggs, and local oil. The staff is absolutely friendly and very helpful. Gabriele gave us many useful tips on the places to explore, while the mother advised us on where to eat in Avola. We will definitely return and can't wait!

Just look at the ratings we have given to understand the level we are at! Luca Nieri knows how to make his customers feel on top at Hybla Major B&B, an impeccable structure: particularly attentive to the cleanliness of every environment, also pays a lot of attention to disinfection, indispensable and fundamental in this delicate period! When you enter the rooms and bathrooms, it feels like entering environments not yet used by anyone! A real pleasure! And he has another great quality, knows how to 'pamper' the customers, starting every morning from breakfast! Luca has golden hands and with great pride every morning illustrates the delicacies he has prepared and especially the 'strategic' and natural ingredients he has used, I recommend not to taste the bread he makes with ancient grains... it creates addiction! On the morning of my birthday, he welcomed me with a slice of cake with a candle that I must say, they are things that a manager of a tourist activity should normally do, but rarely have we found so many 'perfect' aspects all together.
