Hotel Relais Modica is located in the heart of Modica’s historic center and, like all buildings in the old town, it is accessed via a staircase. (We recommend light luggage.)
The hotel is just a few steps from the Garibaldi Theatre, set in an ancient noble palace that once belonged to Countess Mormino Monelli as well as to the Sicilian writer Vitaliano Brancati, where guests will find a peaceful atmosphere immersed in the charm of an elegant and discreet home.
The rooms are located on the noble floors of the building, furnished with period-style furniture, and equipped with air conditioning, private bathroom, hairdryer, telephone, and TV.
You can enjoy moments of relaxation while admiring the view of the most beautiful monuments of the city’s historic center.

The hotel is only 10 minutes from the sea, and destinations such as Marina di Modica, Sampieri, Ragusa Ibla, Noto, Syracuse, Caltagirone, Piazza Armerina, Agrigento, and other towns of the Hyblaean area rich in Baroque charm are easily reachable.
Please note that the hotel does not have a lift. Guests must climb 40 steps to reach the entrance and another 40 to get to the rooms.

Superb boutique hotel in a restored palazzo located in the center of town. Close to all major attractions. Wonderful host Antonio provides a personal touch to ensure guests are well cared for. A very clean and well-run property.

This hotel was all we dreamed! The Owner Antonio Modica is warm, attentive, and inviting. He was very helpful with local directions. Location close to great restaurants and shopping. Very clean facility. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Mr. Antonio is an excellent host: he is friendly, helpful and gives useful advice on places to visit and restaurants. The property is very close to the city's main street and the room, clean, spacious, quiet and elegant, offers a breathtaking view of Hotel Relais Modica. The breakfast is also very good.
