Description

The Halicyae B&B is located on the third floor of a recently built house without an elevator. The property is tastefully furnished and has spacious rooms with private bathrooms. Breakfast is included, and the facility also offers free Wi-Fi, a minibar, a safe, air conditioning, heating, and a smart TV.

Staying at Halicyae B&B also means doing good. By staying at our property, a portion of the proceeds will be annually donated to the AIRC association for cancer research and the Gaslini Hospital in Genoa - Stroke Project.

The Bed and Breakfast Halicyae was created by two young sisters who decided to open their home to welcome tourists from all over the world in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.. Salemi. Tania and Daniela will take care of every single detail with passion and love, with the sole aim of guaranteeing their guests a pleasant and satisfying stay.

In addition to an interesting historic center which, although it still shows the wounds of the 68 'earthquake, in Salemi are worth visiting:
- The millenary Norman-Swabian Castle
- Piazza Alicia - considered among the 60 most beautiful squares in Europe
- The seventeenth-century Church of the Collegio with the most faithful reproduction of the House of Loreto
- The oratory of San Clemente, the Reformed Church which houses the wonderful wooden crucifix by Fra Umile da Petralia
- The Paleochristian Basilicle of San Miceli
- The museum complex which, in addition to relics of the Risorgimento and other works of art from churches destroyed by the earthquake, houses the very important finds of the age from the excavations of nearby Mokarta.

Salemi is truly a city at the center of history. its equidistance from Selinunte, Segesta, Mothia, the salt flats of the Stagnone, Erice and Scopello and all the places reachable in a few minutes by car, make it an ideal starting point for anyone who wants to plan unforgettable excursions into the past.
In addition, the city of Salemi is part of the Club "One of the most beautiful villages in Italy".

I had a lovely stay here. I was attending Salemi Ceramics and, although the B&B is outside the town, my host offered a lift service so it was no trouble. My room was large, clean and comfortable. My host, Diego, was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

When I arrived in Salemi, the whole village was preparing beautiful breads and decorations for the festival of San Giuseppe. It was very special to see a whole community work together to transform the village. Diego was a very charming host who never hesitated to help and helped me appreciate the special qualities of Salemi even more.
