Description
The Holiday House “Il Giardino dei Girasoli” is situated in Marina di Ragusa, in the south western coast of Sicily.
A modern and functional building with eleven flats, each composed of bedrooms, a toilet, a sitting room, a kitchen and a verandah.
In every flat there is one bedroom, kitchen living room, bathroom and veranda; every apartment is equipped with air conditioning, television, fridge, hairdryer, oven, kitchenware, cooking set, linen and bed linen (change during the week of your stay); moreover it is possible to rent bicycles, deckchairs, beach umbrellas and beach towels.
Small domestic animals are admitted under your protection and your responsibility; animals are not admitted in bedrooms and divan beds. Animals’ owners have to take care that the animals do not disturb the peace of the structure. If needed, we will suggest you reliable persons for dog-sitting.
At the end of your stay you will be requested to pay 50 Euros, because the rooms will be subjected to a particular sanitizing treatment.
Our guest must take care of their pets and make sure they do not disturb the other guests.
Pets cannot enter the bedrooms nor jumping on the sofas.
At the end of the stay we will charge a lump sum of 50 euros for subjecting the room to a particular hygienic treatment.

Me and three of my friends rented one of the attic rooms for a few days. Upon arrival, we were amazed by the level of cleanliness and order we found. The staff has always been extremely kind from the beginning to the end of our stay. They even provided a replacement fridge within an hour because the one we had was faulty.
The beds in the two double rooms were very comfortable, and the small terrace added that extra touch to the property. Additionally, with it we had included in the price free access to the pool. It was wonderful both during the day because of the gazebos with sun loungers in the shade and at night because of the lighting.
We will definitely return because they made us experience some beautiful days of relaxation.

The property is very close to the sea and near the center of Marina di Ragusa. Comfortable structure with an excellent microclimate, so you don't have to turn on the air conditioners in the accommodations. Cleanliness and attention to hygiene, all dishes and utensils are individually wrapped. The management is familiar and the owners are very friendly and helpful. It was a relaxing and peaceful week in a truly familiar and welcoming environment. Highly recommended.

We stayed 4 nights at the Sunflower Garden, we had a great time, excellence in cleanliness. The management of Federica and Alessandra was fantastic, especially in customer care. We will definitely come back!

Excellent structure, welcoming, clean, tastefully furnished. Perfect location for touring Ragusa and surroundings. We stayed 4 days and saw everything, beautiful beaches. Courteous staff. Highly recommended.

Structure with a welcoming pool at the end of Lungomare Doria, it is necessary to take the car to move around, not feasible on foot, it's almost 3 km! Essential rooms and it depends on where you end up, with a very small terrace facing a inhabited building. The pool is adjacent to the structure, separated by a sidewalk and a long corridor. Indoor parking, any additional services (bike, linen, barbecue, cot) are at an extra cost. In essence, the quality is sufficient but the price is high (we stayed the first week of September). For families with children like us, I definitely recommend something else.

Grazie di essere stata nostra ospite, però dobbiamo rispondere con dati precisi alla sua recensione altrimenti i nostri futuri ospiti potrebbero avere informazioni non corrette. La nostra struttura è sul Lungomare Bisani; le prime spiagge si trovano ad un km ad est e a 800 metri ad ovest, consigliamo sempre la macchina per muoversi, non abbiamo mai detto che si può andare agevolmente a piedi (ci sono ospiti che lo fanno e non si sono mai lamentati: è una scelta). Gli appartamenti hanno verande di diverse grandezza e, in base a questa, si fa il preventivo, ma la veranda dell'appartamento assegnatole era più che grande per 3 persone, forse Lei ha emfatizzato con altri ospiti che non avevano il Suo stesso spazio, non sapendo che la tariffa era minore. Servizio aggiuntivo significa letteralmente "a pagamento", non capisco in che modo questo possa essere per Lei o per chi prenota una sorpresa, chi non vuole usufruirne non paga. Tra parantesi, la biancheria e relativi cambi sono inclusi nel prezzo, solo se si chiede biancheria "aggiuntiva" si paga. Le famiglie con bambini sono ben accolte al Giardino dei girasoli perché non facciamo pagare i bambini sotto i due anni (come il suo), perché avete uno spazio esterno delimitato e sicuro, perché gli ambienti sono puliti e funzionali, completi di tutto il necessario per trascorrere una comoda vacanza. Gli appartamenti sono consegnati ai clienti sanificati secondo le istruzioni dei protocolli condivisi, la biancheria è fornita da un'azienda che ne garantisce la igienizzazione a Norma UNI EN 14065; abbiamo provveduto a rendere gli appartamenti più razionali per una igienizzazione profonda ed accurata; i filtri dei climatizzatori sono sanificati con frequenza e con prodotti garantiti dall'installatore. Gli ambienti comuni sono puliti frequentemente e con detergenti a base di alcol e cloro a lunga persistenza. Infine la prima Settimana di Settembre non è esattamente bassa stagione!

We found the staff friendly and kind. The facility has a beautiful pool that is regularly cleaned and sanitized. The parking service is very convenient. Comfortable apartment. Recommended.

Hello, despite small hitches immediately resolved, we had a very good time. The structure is very nice, airy, and clean. The pool area is very cozy and relaxing. A bit inconvenient to have to go out onto the external sidewalk to reach the pool area from the house where we were, but the path is only a few meters so not a big deal. Courtesy and kindness of the staff greatly appreciated by us. We highly recommend this property also because it is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Sicily.

Appartamentino molto carino ben disposto e spazioso attrezzato di tutto e con una gradevole zona esterna con doccia e lavabo e garage. Buone le indicazioni che ci hanno dato per conoscere il territorio e la cucina.

Ottima struttura, personale gentile e disponibile. L'appartamento è completo di tutto ciò che occorre ed è pulito. Cambio biancheria sia a metà settimana che a fine settimana. Ho trascorso due settimane con la famiglia e il mio cane in un appartamento al pian terreno. Tutto bene a parte la terrazza molto grande però poco sfruttabile nel pomeriggio, perché in pieno sole. (soprattutto per il mio cane, visto che in spiaggia era vietato portarlo).
Marina di Ragusa ha bellissime spiagge ma raggiungibili dall'appartamento solo in macchina e lo stesso il centro. Turismo solo locale.

L'accoglienza è ottima. Le persone incontrate sono tutte disponibili e molto attente al cliente. Noi abbiamo alloggiato in mansarda ed eravamo due coppie. Ottimo appartamento completo di ferro da stiro, phon TV ecc., grandiosa terrazza. Ci sono le scale, ma quando si è in vacanza non danno molto fastidio. La piscina completa l'ottima struttura. La posizione non è centrale, ma in 5 minuti di macchina si è ovunque. Ci ritornerò sicuramente se avrò l'occasione. Ancora un saluto alle persone che ci hanno accolto meravigliosamente.
