Hi, I'm Giorgio, I'm 40 years old and I'm originally from Catania. For some years I have decided to move to Aci Trezza, an amazing place, known for its sea, its history and its uniqueness. I really like traveling and meeting new people and cultures, I love good food, my land, my origins. After more than ten years of experience in tourism I have expanded my offer by renovating and furnishing this apartment from scratch to give the possibility, to those who wish, to have a reference point to get to know Aci Trezza and the various surrounding beauties.

Area seaside

The small archipelago, consisting of the island of Lachea and three Faraglioni and five rocks, derives from a primordial underwater activity of Etna dating back to about 500, 000 years ago. The subsequent raising of the seabed brought out the current Faraglioni. Now they appear in their majesty and singular form, having been shaped by wind and weather for thousands of years. Currently they are part of the homonymous integral nature reserve of the Marine Protected Area.
Giovanni Verga immortalized the small seaside village of AciTrezza in his masterpiece I Malavoglia. In the novel, the small world of AciTrezza remains unchanging despite the passage of time.
On June 24 of every year, the traditional feast of San Giovanni is celebrated. On this occasion, the pantomime of “U pisci a mari” is renewed, a sort of propitiatory rite recited by figures and evoking swordfish fishing, attended by a large crowd of tourists and onlookers.
The restaurants and trattorias of Acitrezza offer dishes based on freshly caught fish. Among the first we mention the pasta with sea urchins. Sauces such as "garum" date back to Roman times. The Sicilian granita (from the Arabic sherbet = sorbet) had its beginnings in these places, created by expertly mixing the snow of Etna with local citrus fruits, sugar and salt.

The person who takes care of this accommodation is very nice and very responsive. The apartment is spacious enough with two small children. It is possible to rent an indoor parking space.

The apartment reflects the description. Giorgio, who welcomed us, was very courteous and helpful even before arrival, through phone contact. Clean apartment, equipped kitchen. You exit the structure and you are by the sea. I recommend blocking a parking space for only 5€ per day, given the scarcity of parking nearby.

Excellent structure, located right on the seafront of Aci Trezza. With a few small adjustments it could become a real gem just a stone's throw from the sea, but already it's perfect. Congratulations to Giorgio.

The apartment is well equipped, comfortable, and in a great location on the seafront of the historic center. It is located on the ground floor of a condominium and, the only negative aspect, overlooks a closed inner courtyard surrounded by surrounding buildings. The owner is helpful and kind.
