Welcome to Trapani GranVeliero.

We are located in Trapani old town, about 150 metre from pedestrian area of Corso Vittorio Emanuele, 500 metres from Trapani port, where there are bus stop from/to Trapani & Palermo airport, Palermo city, Erice, San Vito lo Capo and daily departure to Egadi islands
At GranVeliero you can live everyday a new sicilian experience, relaxing on the terrace sea view, tasting wine and typical food on our dedicated workshops evening, meeting local craftmen, taking part to our sicilian cooking classes.

At GranVeliero we can offer different room as double/triple or apartment made with 2 interconnecting room that can host 4 people. All rooms/apartment are furnished of air conditioning, free internet wifi, bathroom ensuite, hairdryer, towels and linen, kitchen, fridge, tv.

I’m Giovanni, I’m 31 years old and after my university studies in tourist marketing, I grew up professionally in London and in Trentino, before coming back to Sicily with the desire to do something in my homeland. After working as a freelance for tour operators, travel agencies for the promotion and organization of tours related to food, culture and nature, supported by my family, we opened B&B Belveliero in Trapani, combining hospitality with the promotion of tourist itineraries for our guests.

Now at GranVeliero, we add to the hospitality the organization of thematic sensorial workshops, arranging several times a week, meeting with local people as fishermen, salt workers, peasants) and doing typical wine and olive oil tasting, food involving our guests in sicilian cooking classes. Hoping to make you learn more about our land, we greet you and invite you to contact us for any curiosity you might have. Welcome on board at Gran Veliero.

Very pleasant accommodation with plenty of space, very friendly reception. Arrival went very well after contacting in advance via WhatsApp. I was able to park in front of the accommodation to unload my luggage and then found a free parking space nearby after the explanation by the hostess.

I enjoyed a wonderful tonight's day at Granveliero. My room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water. The location is perfect. Close to the waterfront and the historic center. The owners went out of their way to accommodate me and couldn't have been nicer. The only challenge was finding parking, and Giovanni helped with that as best he could. An exceptional B&B experience!

We had an amazing stay at Granveliero. I had really good sleep at the room we stayed. The location is very quiet but very very close to the beach and close to a lot of restaurants and stores. The breakfast was very delicious. We really love it!

This BnB is quite exceptional because of the hosts Giovanni and Paulina. They were so informative and helpful during our stay, which made it so enjoyable. The property is near the beach, ferries, and bus stops. Our room was on the 3rd floor, which was quite a hike, but it worked off our delicious breakfast and dinner.

We stayed at this property the second week of August. Giovanni and his mother were very kind and extremely helpful in offering us all the necessary support. The b&b is located a stone's throw from the sea and the historic center of Trapani. If I were to return to the city, I would definitely stay there again.

Located in a strategic location, 200 meters from the beach and 400 meters from the center. The manager's mother, a kind and welcoming person, gave us excellent advice. And what about Massimo, a polite and kind gentleman, who welcomes you at breakfast with his sweet smile and perfectly remembering our preferences. A place to come back to.

I saw many adverts on Facebook on this b&b and wanted to try it out for a short weekend break with my husband on a budget. I WhatsApped the owner and he immediately replied with availability and price, I booked online via their website with not deposit or payment in advance. On the way from airport the owner let me know the name of a free parking area close to the hotel "piazza scalo d'alaggio" (same place where there is the fish market in the mornings). We walked maybe 7 mins to the hotel and where greeted by the mother of the owner Paulina, she was very nice and kind and provided me with a basic kettle and soluble coffee and water as I need my coffee early in the morning. The room was basic, small but enough for two days just to sleep and shower. Our room was on the second floor. There is no lift but was ok for us. Shower is small but normal for Italy standards. The hairdryer was very good for my needs. There was some shower gel and shampoo. Towels very clean and big. There is a mini fridge as well. The breakfast was varied and very good. They provide fresh coffee for you. Overall it is a very cute, clean and good location to the centre, good value for money. Owners very nice.

Beautiful palace where they have preserved details from a past era with great taste. In the room and bathroom, beautiful tiles and ceilings with frescoes. So much charm! Quality bed, very good breakfast. Out of season, an exceptional quality/price offer. Highly recommended, also for Giovanni's kindness.

Good location and reception, nice building although in need of renovation, breakfast a bit lacking and cleanliness could be improved (examples: the floor was dirty and the sink plug was missing, unpleasant to look at the drain while washing the face). High price compared to the offer (and on the third floor without an elevator).

Well renovated palace that has managed to enhance the vintage floors. The room was spacious, the two windows overlook internal cloisters of the palace so it was poorly lit by sunlight but good artificial lighting. The bed was comfortable and, despite being a few hundred meters from the center, the room was very quiet. The noise from the fan and the bathroom finishes could be improved. The breakfast, both sweet and savory, was plentiful and also featured local products. Beautiful breakfast room. The property is family-run and it was a pleasure to interact with them.

Great property in the center of Trapani. I only advise against it for those traveling by car and moving every day because the parking is inconvenient, but it also depends a lot on the holiday period.

We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. Everything was perfect starting from the welcome. The host even helped us find a free parking spot. Then for the comfort of the room. Next, for the excellent, varied, and very generous breakfast. And finally for its location that allowed us to visit Trapani on foot. We will come back without hesitation and with pleasure.

The rooms are nice, clean and well equipped, the location is great, the hosts were kind and polite. The price is very fair and the included breakfast was quite good. The view from the roof is wonderful. A few suggestions for improvement: tell the clients upfront that the windows stare into a wall 1 meter away and that a 'room with a window' doesn't actually have a view. Also, because of the storm, the roof door was banging all night long and the rain was pouring into the stairway so all of the stairs were wet and slippery. Overall, we had an excellent experience and I warmly recommend Granveliero to everyone.

The accommodation is in a beautiful old house that has been lovingly restored. It was very clean and Giovanni and his family were very helpful and friendly at all times. The rooftop terrace is beautiful with sea views. You have to climb some stairs, but you know what you get. The old town and the sea are within walking distance in a few minutes and if you walk a few steps further, you find a free parking spot. We were completely satisfied and would love to come back when we are in Trapani again. Best regards!

We have just stayed in this charming ancient building and had a fantastic time. The personnel was pleasant, the accommodation was huge and comfy, and the location was ideal. However, I would like to point out that the building's antiquity has some limitations. There was a lot of noise coming from both within and outside the building, which could be a concern for light sleepers or families with young children. While this did not have a significant impact on my stay, it is something to consider if you are travelling with young children who may be easily disturbed at night. Nonetheless, I would suggest this B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in a wonderful historic building.

Very kind and helpful owners since the booking moment. Great location to visit the center of Trapani and to reach the port for boarding to the Egadi islands. Perhaps breakfast could be improved by increasing the offer of fresh products (the ricotta we ate the first morning was superb).

Beautiful ancient structure in the historic center of Trapani, a stone's throw from the port. The managers are always kind and available for any request. Good and abundant breakfast. The only note is the bathroom a bit small and lacking supports to place the products.
