Description

The Dafni e Naide B&B stands in Via XXV Novembre, a historical road of the old town of Cefalù, on the second floor of an ancient palace, close to the sea.

Its strategic position allows to reach, in few minutes, the main attractions of the city: the Cathedral, the "Lavatoio Medievale", the Mandralisca museum, "Porta Pescara, the "Marina" and also many souvenir, pub, restaurants with terraces overlooking the rocks and the sea
All rooms are comfortable and bright, fitted with an ensuite bathroom, a flat screen tv, air conditionig, and balcony facing the main street or an inner courtyard.

A little terrace, on the second floor of the B&B, is available for our guest.

From there, you can have the opportunity to admire: the Rock, the Cathedral, the sea

This was a good place to stay. It is a great location and great price. The room was very cute and clean, although small. The air conditioning worked very well. There was a sewage smell from the bathroom but this is not uncommon in Sicily and would be hard to avoid. Another review commented that breakfast preparation in the kitchen woke them up in the morning, and I concur that the same thing happened to me. It would be nice if the host provided ear plugs for this reason. The rooms and common area could have been stocked with more items that may be needed for a comfortable stay such as extra blankets, pillows, beach towels, bathroom towels, beach umbrellas, umbrellas for the rain etc. All of the other bed and breakfasts we stayed at in Italy provided these things. When we needed some items, the host was unable to provide them right away, or even on the same day we asked. This could be solved if the items were kept on the property for guests to access themselves.

Grazie per la tua recensione:). Mi dispiace per il rumore sentito durante la colazione ma è inevitabile. Per quanto riguarda i servizi in più, se me ne avesse fatta menzione li avrei forniti senza problemi come faccio sempre, nello specifico teli mare, ombrellone a disposizione al piano di sotto, cuscini extra e teli bagno già predisposto in ogni camera e inclusi nel prezzo del soggiorno. Spero che comunque vi siete trovati bene e tornerete a trovarci

On one side, the room was clean and well furnished. The location was very central, 5 minutes from the beach. On the other hand, they asked us to pay in cash the day before our arrival, it was not written anywhere. The Terra room, which we had, was located near the kitchen for breakfast, so every morning we were awakened at 7:45 am due to the noise of breakfast preparation. It is only served from 8:30 to 9:30 am and it was not to our liking. The last point that we did not appreciate is that one day we smelled gas inside our room and in the kitchen, we sent a message to the landlord who answered us more or less that it's normal when the boiler is running. A few hours later, the smell was still there even though no one was using it. We sent a new message, the landlord asked Italian holidaymakers to check, they confirmed. So the landlord finally came and found that it was coming from the gas stove and turned it off.

For organizational rules, breakfast must be served at that time, you are not obliged to do it, it is a service that we give to our customers. I'm sorry it wasn't to your liking but knowing everyone's tastes is practically impossible. For the payment I have explained several times that it is not written either in cash or by card, the payment is on trust that is directly when you arrive. I promptly informed you the day before to arrange payment, I've never had any problems also because I think it's the customer who must find out about the rules of the house and understand before booking, even by calling several times, if the features are fine. As for the gas, I explained several times that it comes from the boiler, in your second message I asked the kindness of the Italian customers to check immediately because I couldn't be there right away. I arrived and re-explained that the smell of gas was coming from the boiler. To keep you calm, I closed the one in the kitchen but I repeat there was no leak in the kitchen, it was the boiler placed outside

We stayed three days in this property in the historic center of Cefalù. Very well-kept rooms, abundant homemade breakfast, great location but above all, the hospitality of Donatella and her family made the stay perfect.

My wife and I stayed at this property from July 24th to 31st. We had a great time from the first phone contacts, and we confirmed the professionalism and availability once we arrived. Regarding breakfast, there was something different every morning, both sweet and savory. Strategic location for both the city center and the sea, highly recommended!

Structure located in a strategic area, excellent for strolling in the historic center, twenty meters away from one of the main streets (which avoids nighttime noise). Also convenient for parking along the seafront, not being in the upper part of the town. Modern and bright interiors, functional air conditioning. Like all structures in the historic center, don't expect an elevator! The breakfast is varied and lovingly prepared by the owners, very kind and always available people. If I come back to Cefalù, I will definitely return here.

We stayed here for three nights and would have liked to stay longer. Donatella and her mother are so warm, lovable, and caring. They prepare a great breakfast every day with local ingredients and homemade jams and cakes. The accommodation and our room were very clean and are modern and lovingly furnished. We will gladly come back.

The structure is new and very clean, the room is large and bright, strategically located a few steps from the Cefalù Cathedral and the seafront, the owners are helpful and kind. I would choose this structure if I were to return to Cefalù.

Particularly well-kept room in shabby chic style, with everything you need for a truly simple and peaceful stay. Delightful Mrs. Donatella, brother Giuseppe, and the mother who takes care of the delightful breakfast. Always available for any request. Truly a beautiful experience.
