What guests say

Guests particularly value the very central location, convenient for exploring Palermo on foot, and the friendly, helpful staff. The B&B is often described as clean, welcoming and distinctively decorated; breakfast is appreciated, though some find it simple. A few rooms are small, and some reviews mention areas where comfort or amenities could be improved. The property is in a building without a lift, which may be a consideration for guests with limited mobility or heavy luggage.

The property is in an ideal location for enjoying the city and getting around, whatever you want to do. The rooms are on the second floor of a fairly old building, but the B&B has been renovated, with a pretty, minimalist decor and is quite comfortable and functional, with everything you might need in the rooms; the only thing missing, in my opinion, is a mini fridge in the rooms. The relationship with the host and with the staff in charge of cleaning and breakfast was wonderful; they were all attentive to each of our small needs.

stayed from 08/20/2026 to 08/23/2026

The answer from the host:
Gentilissima, Grazie di cuore per aver condiviso la sua esperienza e per l'affetto dimostrato verso tutto il nostro team! È stato un piacere enorme prenderci cura di voi. Grazie anche per il suggerimento sul frigo in camera ma abbiamo preferito metterne uno a disposizione di tutti gli ospiti nella zona caffè per evitare fastidiosi rumori e fonti di calore all'interno delle camere, garantendo maggiore comfort e più spazio ai nostri ospiti. Speriamo di rivederci presto! Cordiali saluti, Marianna - Cialoma B&B".

This refers to Room 3. Noise from a generator, like a loud washing machine, 24/7 outside Room 3 on the terrace. Very small room. The bathroom was tiny.

stayed from 04/09/2026 to 04/11/2026

The answer from the host:
Cordiali saluti.

We had a very good stay; the room was small, but perfect for two people and equipped with all necessary amenities (the only thing missing was a bidet, but considering there is a hand shower available in addition to the shower, I do not consider it a major issue). A pleasant surprise was finding the topper on the bed, which made sleeping very comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was well organized with essential but tasty items. The staff were courteous and helpful, both before our arrival and during our stay. I recommend this accommodation also for its excellent location.

7 for the property: no elevator, difficult stairs.

It would be advisable to improve a few things. In particular, I stayed in room number 3 and unfortunately the mattress was really poor. It was an old thin mattress with a topper that was completely depressed in the middle; I slept with my legs elevated, so to speak. In addition, the bathroom was very small and had no bidet. The rest was acceptable, although the price was too high given the overall condition of the room.

Spacious room and bathroom. The upcycled decor is nice, but some elements look shabby and are not adequate for functional use. Basic breakfast. Cleanliness is absolutely insufficient.

Great facility in a strategic location in the heart of Palermo; well managed, well maintained, and clean, with a customer focus from the always very friendly staff that I never take for granted. Having gluten intolerance issues, I don't always see such generous collaborations regarding my "problem" when it comes to breakfast. Recommended!

It is impeccably located, on a street with a lot of life in the city, but quiet if the window is closed. Its decoration is beautiful and original, with all the furniture that belonged to different works of the Teatro Massimo (which is a few meters from the accommodation). The staff is super friendly and helpful. The family room is huge, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom is the same, although I would suggest putting some kind of shelf in the shower where one can place the shampoo and soap, as for an elderly person it is uncomfortable to have to bend down to leave them on the floor and it can be dangerous. For everything else, only positive things to say. The breakfast is very good (exquisite ricotta cake and juices!), and it is served both on a beautiful terrace and in the living room, which is also lovely. I suggest not choosing it in case of having reduced mobility as it is all by stairs, and to consider it also if you have a lot of luggage.

A very strategic location in the city center. We could not have asked for anything better. The room was large, although it was a little noisy since we arrived on the weekend, but after midnight the nightlife quiets down and we sleep very well. The breakfast was decent. Viviana was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Very positive experience. Viviana welcomes you and advises you on everything. Clean room, good and varied breakfast; light for my daughter with yogurt, cereals and fresh fruit every morning and sweet for me among croissants and baked cassata. It is a gem in the center of Palermo. Highly recommended this B&B.

Strategic location. On foot you can reach everything and well supplied with public and private transport constantly passing by. The owner and staff of Cialoma B&B are helpful, efficient, professional but also very nice.
