In the historic center of Marsala, inside an ancient courtyard, you can still find authentic Sicily.
Charming rooms completely renovated on the first and second floor, with private bathroom and air conditioning, comfortable for 2-3-4 people. Children are welcome, they only pay for the change of sheets and breakfast.
For lunch, we recommend cheap street food (Arancine, Pane e Panelle, brioche with ice cream - huge -, market pizza).
In the evening, charming restaurants in the center where you can eat fish and couscous without spending a fortune.
Distances: only 15 km from Birgi airport. 100 km from Palermo - Punta Raisi airport.

Our breakfast is served in the quite terrace from March to November. Fresh-fruit based. Fresh bread and home-made jams, yoghurt. Cheese normally is present for Northern Europeans guests or Americans.
Cakes and biscuits sometimes are on the table.
Expresso or tall home made coffe, the, fresh orange juice in the season (november-march).
And normally we are there to inform you - if you do like - about the wonderful area where we live, where you could stay weeks relaxing and tasting wine.
Careful!!! More of the BB in Italy and in Marsala do not offer a home-made breakfast but give you a ticket for a coffe and brioche at the bar!!

Only 15 Km from Trapani Birgi Airport you can experience the true Sicilian culture and stay in the historical centre of Marsala. Our suites of rooms have been completely renovated and have their own bathroom and air conditioning. In keeping with tradition and situated in an old courtyard you can still find the authentic Sicily.
Conveniently situated opposite the San Matteo church, in Via Punica, bordering the East corner of the pedestrianised old town. These newly renovated self-contained suites have independent access up stone stairs in a secluded, traditional tufa courtyard, shared with your hosts Tiziana & Roberto. They combine heritage with modern facilities including refrigerator and air conditioning. Suite 1 (first floor) comprises two spacious rooms, with a window balcony overlooking the church and compact trendy ‘wet room’. Suite 2 (second floor) is a spacious L-shaped room with double bed, discreetly placed single bed, luxury shower/toilet & a large balcony overlooking the courtyard.
Leave the car in the public car park 100 meters from the house and enjoy the pedestrian area in the historic centre.
Beautiful churches, such as the cathedral dedicated to St. Thomas Becket of Canterbury, the archaeological Museum with the Punic Boat and more.
Historic wineries to taste Marsala wine. Do not miss the interesting Fish and Vegetable Market, while the weekly market (Tuesday) will amaze you with food and bargains. But shopping in town is even more interesting with more than ten shoe shops just behind our house dedicated to women!
The sea is 300 meters away, with bathing beaches at 1 km (where you can ‘kite surf’ during summer). The lagoon, called “Stagnone”, with beautiful views to Mothia Island and Isola Longa that you can reach by canoing or even walking in the sea (Isola Longa).
From the harbour, 300 meters from the house, you can take ferries to Egadi Island: visit Favignana and Levanzo for a day-trip. Mazara del Vallo, Trapani, marvellous Selinunte by train within a 1 hour journey. For lunch we suggest fantastic and cheap food street – arancine!, pane e panelle, ice-cream in a brioche, pizza, while at a charming little restaurant you can enjoy your dinner with fish and cous-cous without spending that much. What are you waiting for? Children are very welcome. Need a babysitter? We suggest ours! Ask about anything else you want to know.

La struttura è molto graziosa, pulita e ben tenuta. Si trova in centro ed è facile da raggiungere. Il personale disponibile e gentile. Mancava in camera il frigo e la tv ma nel complesso un bel posto dove tornerei sicuramente.
