Description

"Casa Sicilia" is located in Torre Faro or Capo Peloro (around 12 km from Messina). It is situated on the first floor, on a single level with a view of the Strait of Messina. It consists of two rooms: a kitchen/living room (equipped with a sofa bed for one and a half people), a bedroom (with the possibility of separate or additional beds), and a comfortable bathroom.

The house is located a few minutes from the GIOMI Orthopedic Institute in Ganzirri, the Papardo Hospital, and the University Campus of Sciences and Engineering. Nearby, there are numerous commercial activities and services (supermarkets, pharmacies, newsstands, post offices, bars, pizzerias, restaurants, beach facilities, playgrounds, etc.), sports facilities, and evening and night-time entertainment venues, but above all, there are the beaches of two seas (the Ionian and the Tyrrhenian), rich in life, with crystal-clear waters and breathtaking depths.

The territory is a modern seaside village that without sacrificing its traditional disposition offers to residents and tourists many activities and commercial services (supermarket, chemist, newsagent, post office, bars, pizzerias, restaurants, bathing facilities, playgrounds etc), sports, leisure and evening and night entertainment. A few minutes away there are important Hospital Centres: the IOMI - Orthopaedic Institute Franco Scalabrino Giomi Group, the Hospital Papardo, or the University of Science and Engineering and a home cel CNR. Not to be overlooked is the beauty and the importance of its monuments: the Tower of the English, built by the British and today inserted inside the Park Horcynus Orca, the Pylon, said "u pillar" structure of industrial archaeological interest, designed and built between 1948 and 1956 by the general electric Company of Sicily and 233 meters high, the White Tower, the Lanternino etc.

And yet the presence of the quagmire, which is a saltwater lake connected through the channels to the sea and to the lake of Ganzirri, which is about 1 km and where you practice shellfish. The lakes and channels give rise to a complex natural system called natural reserve of Capo Peloro (site of international importance, included in the Unesco Water Project).

The stay was perfect from every point of view. The apartment is very comfortable, clean, equipped with all amenities, literally a step from the sea with a view of the strait. You fall asleep to the sound of the waves! Enza was kind, helpful, and attentive to all our needs, I can only thank her for helping to make our days spent in Torre Faro even more beautiful. If I were to return, I would undoubtedly choose Casa Sicilia again!

Great location, by the sea, on the Strait of Messina. Just waking up in the morning with the sun in the room and having breakfast on the little terrace is worth the stay. Apartment equipped with all comforts, very clean. Despite a few small inconveniences, Mr. and Mrs. Donato were excellent hosts and prompt in their responses. They showed great attention to the guests, and a lot of care in welcoming us, even providing an additional space for the bikes, not expected and not requested by us. We are very satisfied with the treatment and the stay. Elisabetta.
