At Casa Grazia, you will be welcomed by me, Mario, born under the sign of Virgo and a great lover of martial arts, cars and motorcycles.

I worked as a banker in the northern city of Milan until retirement, and for several years now, I have decided to dedicate myself to my main hobbies in Sicily, my homeland.

With enthusiasm and passion, I began managing the family structure, a reception structure dating back to the 60s, with the desire and intention to offer tourists in these areas added value and something more authentic compared to the classic hotels or the many other B&Bs and guesthouses that arise in Taormina.

Excellent value for money. For us it was a real discovery: convenient, central and absolutely spotless. The only feature to consider if you have mobility limitations is the stairs. Depending on the room assigned, there may be many flights to climb. The host is helpful, present and always precise in the directions. For us, truly a positive experience.

Where to begin… Magnificent! The property is located right in the town center, a stone's throw from the very famous bar and a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. We were on the top floor; the stairs are many but the splendid view makes up for all the effort. The property isn't brand new but the cleanliness is outstanding. Mr. Mario is always available to give super useful advice. A wonderful place where you feel at home. The price is absolutely competitive for Taormina, especially considering the excellent location of the property. Highly recommended!

We stayed in room number 7 on the fourth floor with a private terrace. The property was very clean, the room spacious and nothing was missing. The owner was really helpful and kind: upon arrival he gave us all the necessary information to get around Taormina, including a sheet with the bus timetables. Very central location, perfect for visiting the town. There is a guarded parking nearby (Parking Lumbi), which can be reached easily with a 5-minute free shuttle. Highly recommended! Very affordable considering the general prices in the town.

This was the best spot I found in Sicily! Since the beginning I had the spectacular experience of seeing my bag flying through an exterior old school elevator to my terrace. Then I got to choose the best room with a breathtaking view all over Taormina seaside and Etna. I spent hours there at night listening to the jazz festival and observing the vibe. The room had everything I needed and the host was super nice. Mario gave me all the recommendations I needed to explore Taormina and he even asked a pizza to be delivered there. I truly recommend this warm familiar spot perfectly located in Taormina.

It is simply fantastic! I was very lucky - the hostess speaks excellent Russian! And her husband is a very attentive and friendly person. Here they are happy to welcome Russian tourists and are always ready to make some concessions regarding the difficulties of traveling in Europe for Russian citizens. No breakfast is served here - and it really is not needed in the tourist center of Taormina. And the price corresponds to the structure without breakfast. But personally, I would have liked to have a kettle in the room or on the floor, and there wasn't one in the structure. Therefore, the rating is slightly lower.

Perfect location in the heart of Taormina. A proactive, flexible host/owner who did everything to make our stay comfortable. The cleaning lady was also very nice and helpful. Spacious, cool rooms – although we stayed there in May, I can imagine how relaxing they must be during the summer heat. There’s no elevator, but I think most travelers won’t mind walking up a few steps if their room is on the upper floors. If you have any specific mobility concerns or requests, just contact the host — based on our experience, he’s very helpful and will come up with a solution (for example, there are great rooms on the first floor near the entrance). We had a great time in this classic albergo-style place, with everything Taormina has to offer literally at our doorstep.

Loved the location, loved my room at the top and its terrace with amazing view. It could be a little bit noisy at times in evening/night because of the restaurant/garden at the back of the house. But it's manageable.

If you are a very low-budget traveler, this is a rare find. Mario, the owner, is lovely and helpful. He lives on the ground floor with his motorcycle in the living-reception room. The best rooms (with balcony) are on the 4th floor, four very steep flights up. It is on a quiet street in the city center. I missed having breakfast, or at least coffee, on the premises.

It is very well located both to reach it from the Lumbi parking lot (take the free shuttle 2 minutes away from Casa Grazia) and for its location in the center of Taormina. We had the room on the last floor of the accommodation; a bit small, with many narrow stairs to climb, with not that much space around the bed to walk, especially if you open your luggage, the bed was old-ish, kind of stiff, but manageable, not that long, small TV, but with AC and clean. Despite all this, it was one of the best accommodations that we had because of the terrace and the view (you could see Etna, the sea, the teatro Massimo, etc.). We really didn't care that the room was small and the bed was stiff, all that we wanted to do was to stay on the chairs, with a bottle of Aperol and the amazing view. We would definitely go there again if we had the chance. The host is also very nice and helpful. If you are looking for a spacious room with many facilities and great comfort, this is not for you, but if you want a charming place with an amazing and unique view, then you should definitely choose Casa Grazie (the room with the terrace on the last floor).

This house is amazing. We booked 2 nights but stayed for 3 eventually. The host is super welcoming and friendly. We could choose our room and chose the one on the rooftop. It has the most beautiful view: you can see Taormina itself and also Etna and the sea. It is a small room, but we would definitely recommend it.

Casa Grazia provided the most wonderful stay for our time in Taormina. We hardly wanted to leave our room. We had the rooftop suite which had truly spectacular views of Taormina, the sea, and Mt. Etna. Watching a thunderstorm from up there was a highlight. The room itself was very small but surrounded with windows and a great patio for enjoying a book, conversation, or beverage. Cleanliness is 10/10, Location 10/10, value 10/10 and host 11/10 - Mario is the kindest, most generous host. If a cushy or soft mattress is important to you, this is not your place. Also, the wifi didn't reach up to the top floor. But if those things aren't necessary, I urge you to choose Casa Grazia for your time in Taormina. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The hotel is very well located. The air conditioning is appreciable and indispensable. Nice view, especially when the room is high up. Early check-in, which was very convenient. The manager is very kind and attentive. The private bathroom is very small, the room is small as well. We had booked the room at the top which had been confirmed to us weeks in advance but ultimately it was given to someone else, without explanation. It was a great disappointment for us as on the 3rd floor the view is nothing compared to the incredible view of the room at the top. No elevator.

Influenced by the excellent reviews, we decided to stay at this guesthouse in the center of Taormina. It is in a strategic location, close to the ancient theater, the bus stop that takes you to the Lumbi parking lot (for which we received a discount voucher from the guesthouse manager), and the famous Bam bar, great for enjoying granita. As for the room, it was on the third floor, but the manager was so kind to carry the luggage upstairs. Clean and well-ventilated room. What can I say? Everything perfect!

Invaluable location, very central yet away from the chaos of the main streets. The manager provided us with a parking pass for reserved spots, saving us from using the paid parking at 3€/h. We were assisted in all our needs with great kindness and availability. The structure is essential, perhaps a bit dated in the furnishings but very clean and comfortable for basic needs, including the presence of air conditioning and a minibar. I would recommend converting the small living room into a luggage rack to better arrange the suitcases. In any case, I highly recommend choosing Casa Grazia.

Casa Grazia was great value and being in the heart of Taormina you could walk anywhere. The rooms were small but comfortable for 2 people and very clean. I am very fussy with cleanliness and gave them the thumbs up! Mario the host is very accommodating, friendly, helpful and full of life. He made our stay very enjoyable and made us feel at home. I would highly recommend to stay here and would definitely stay again. There are stairs so if you are on the 4th floor be prepared for lots of climbing but as we had the view of Mt. Etna is was worth the climb!

We chose this Bed and Breakfast because it is close to the theater, where we had to go for a concert. It is in a great location also to visit the center. I had such a pleasant stay at Casa Grazia. The location is incredible and the value is excellent. Rooms feel small. But the B&B has so much character, it was immaculate (so clean and beautiful), plus it's right around the corner from the Teatro di Greco and main street with all the historical sites, restaurants, and shops. Since it was just a block away from the main street, it was quiet at night. Moreover, Mario and Elena were the best hosts. My train was late in arriving and they stayed up to greet me. And, for my last night, they let me stay in their rooftop apartment (paradise!). I am so grateful for their friendliness and superb service. I won't stay anywhere else when I visit Taormina next time. I highly recommend.

The stay at Casa Grazia was very pleasant, mainly due to its location in the city center. Very convenient for visiting the historic center and still very easy to reach the sea by public transport. Highly recommended also for the price, it's almost impossible to find better. Only to consider the absence of the elevator if you take a room on the upper floors, of which the owner had promptly warned me. Great experience and a lot of courtesy.

Convenient as it is located in the old town, facilitating visits. However, access is difficult as you have to leave the car far away, in a municipal parking lot. Certainly, there is a free shuttle to go up but the crowd makes the journey challenging! This is the price to pay in a very touristy city.

This is an excellent place to stay in Taormina. It is very close to all the interesting things in the town, but at the same time it is in a quiet side street. The room that we occupied had its own terrace, with a spectacular view of Mount Etna. The B&B does not provide breakfast, but there are several nearby places where you can take breakfast, our favourite being Bam Bar. Our host, Mario, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The welcome from the owner was fundamental for a positive and serene stay. Available and attentive to the customer's needs. Excellent location. The sheets and white towels were clean and spotless. The only downside is the bathroom, which at first sight appears outdated and with a few more small attentions could increase the quality of the structure. Compared to the very high prices in Taormina, only in relation to that, the quality-price of the structure seems reasonable. Overall, positive experience.

The room on the top floor, almost a penthouse with a terrace, offers an incomparable view of Taormina, Mount Etna, and the sea. Sitting there in the morning or evening for a glass of red wine is a great experience and more than compensates for the fact that the room itself is rather small and that you have to carry the luggage up 4 floors. However, there are also other rooms. The location is absolutely central in Taormina. The host - Mario - is a very pleasant and helpful person. Please inform in advance the expected arrival time. Drivers: if possible, head straight to the recommended parking lot (Lumbi) and walk to the hotel, driving is possible but goes around the whole city, the last meters are very narrow and steep into Via Iallia.

A rare moment at Casa Grazia thanks to this address. Mario bends over backwards to help us (advice on free parking, on visits), to please us while remaining discreet. The price of the rooms is hardly believable in a place like this. And above all, having breakfast and a nightcap up there in front of this breathtaking panorama (sea and Etna, just that!) make the stay unforgettable. Thank you Mario!

We had the room on the top floor, with a terrace: very beautiful view over the city and the Etna as background. Room is a bit small, but very nice atmosphere up there. You have to climb 6 stories, not a problem for us, but better to know it before booking. We could check in as soon as we arrived, which is quite easier.

We spent 5 days at Casa Grazia in October 2015. It was a wonderful time. We occupied the top room with direct access to a wonderful rooftop terrace with breathtaking views over Taormina, Mount Etna, and the sea. Our room was spotlessly clean, Mario is a very friendly host, he gave us tips for restaurants, for breakfast we went to the Bam Bar just around the corner, Mario even helped us with the luggage up the stairs and marked on a city map upon arrival where we could park our rental car for free, which is not so easy in Taormina - but it worked. The village and its location are simply stunning, there is a lot to discover in the surroundings and in the off-season it was not crowded at all. It was just a perfect stay, thank you Mario for this lovely time, keep up the good work and all the best. Anne and Mario.

Very well located, good tips for parking the car, and we were lucky to have the room on the top floor with a small terrace and a magnificent view. However, without an elevator in this heat, you have to earn it! It is very clean, there is air conditioning and a small fridge in the room, but no wifi. Good welcome, and you can leave your luggage to visit on the day of departure.

I stayed at Casa Grazia on the occasion of a concert at the Greek Theatre in Taormina, just a few hundred meters away. The room on the top floor is comfortable and the bathroom has all the amenities, with windows from which you could enjoy a magnificent view. In my room, I also had a nice terrace with a view of the sea and Mount Etna. The cleanliness (which is not to be underestimated), the friendliness, the sympathy, and the availability of the owner are to be appreciated. We had a very pleasant short vacation. Recommended!

Fantastic place to stay in Taormina. Just a 2-minute walk to the main shopping street of Taormina and about a 15-minute walk with luggage to Taormina bus station. Close by is also a pharmacy and a local shop with fresh produce and wines. Mario's hospitality made us feel at home from the first day and made our stay that bit more special. We stayed on the top floor room with a breathtaking panorama of Etna, Gardini-Naxos bay, and just behind you can see a bit of the Teatro Greco. The room was very clean, with a comfortable double bed, fridge, and TV and a small private bathroom with shower, also very clean. The balcony is perfect to enjoy the view, relax on the beach chairs, or just have breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or just some beers from the nearest shop. I highly recommend you choose Casa Grazia, I myself can't wait to return. Thank you very much, Mario. See you soon.
