Description
The Josepha B&B is centrally located in the heart of Taormina's historic centre, within the pedestrian area and adjacent to the Arch of Porta Messina, one of the two gateways to the old town and the Greek Roman Theatre.

The small courtyard that houses the B&B, Vicolo Zecca, offers not only an enchanting and characteristic view of Taormina's architecture, but also a private and quiet location, slightly out of the way, albeit a few steps away from the life and folklore of Corso Umberto, the main street of the old town, picturesque and elegant, full of shops and clubs.

B&B Josepha offers accommodation in two independent mini-apartments, located on the upper floor of the building, each consisting of a double room, a single room (with the possibility of adding a bed in each room) and a private bathroom for each flat. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating.

On the ground floor are the common areas: the kitchen, living room and relaxation area.

The living room and the sofa area overlook a charming little terrace surrounded by greenery and equipped with a small table that creates a private and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for reading, chatting and losing oneself in the timeless magic that Taormina can offer.

Breakfast will be offered in the 3 bars adjacent to the bed and breakfast: Il Vicoletto, Bar Pirandello and gelateria Don Diego. Our guests will thus be able to vary, choosing between sweet and savoury dishes typical of our area.

Hey from Laura

I'm Laura, born and raised in this wonderful country.

I work as a physiotherapist in Catania in my private studio for this reason I can't be present as I would like, but my staff will be there to welcome you when I can't, whose main point of reference is Davide, happy to show you what will also be your home for a while.

Taormina is our city, which we love and know very well. For this we will be able to advise you on the main artistic, gastronomic and cultural points of interest of the city, its wonderful beaches, but also the possible excursions to do through breathtaking nature trails for panoramas and beauty on our hills, Ziretto and Monte Venere..and not Alone.

Area city center
The Josepha Bed and Breakfast is located at 31 Vicolo Zecca Street, a picturesque and elegant alleyway adjacent to the Arch of Porta Messina, an ancient stone gateway that in the past formed the central and integral part of the fortification walls.
You are a minute's walk from Corso Umberto, Taormina's main street, bordered at its ends by Porta Catania on one side and Porta Messina on the other, full of shops and bars of various kinds.
Although you are in an extremely central area, you will be far from the noise of the town.
From our bed and breakfast you can reach sites of historical interest such as the Greek Theatre, the Villa Comunale and the Duomo in a few minutes' walk or, just 500 metres away, you will find the cable car that will take you to the wonderful beaches of Mazzarò, Isola bella and Spisone.
The bus stop such as Terminal Bus is about 700 metres from the bed and breakfast, while another bus stop is only 5' away in Piazza San Pancrazio.
For lovers of long walks, you can reach the wonderful village of Castelmola on foot, passing through the salita dei Saraceni and admiring a breathtaking view, or you can go down to the beaches of Mazzarò, Spisone or Isola bella on foot.
You will be delighted with the area and its centrality.

My partner and I loved our spacious rooms, the balcony, the view of the local Taormina, the peaceful atmosphere and the very central and historic location of this delightful B&B (within easy walking distance of the bus station). This was a sanctuary to retreat to after each day spent among the bustling vibe of Taormina's tourists. Laura and Davide, our hosts, were so welcoming, friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. The delicious and plentiful breakfasts lovingly created by Fiorella were much appreciated. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Very good review, this B&B is to be recommended. Spacious, bright, very well equipped and absolutely comfortable with excellent bedding. Friendly welcome by a colleague of the owner who provided us with some tourist information and restaurant addresses.

Superb location, close to the bus station, cable car and center, ice cream shop and tourist office. Quiet at night (which is rare in Sicily). Spacious place, we had the whole place to ourselves, that was nice. Roberto explained everything when we arrived. We made the breakfast ourselves, which was nice because we could decide when we would eat. Basics like jam/cereals, tea, coffee and juice/milk were available in the B&B (we bought bread in a local bakery). Balcony and big terrace with drying rack, a bit desolate, could have used a sweep and some plants.
