The bed and breakfast Selene, fully renovated in 2010 is born from the idea of a professional lover of charm and comfort, attentive to detail in the care of their guests.
The B&B is ideally located near the Hospital and private clinics Valsalva and Morgagni, not far from the central station, 600 meters from the street and park Etnea Gioeni, convenient, park at 20 mt.
The rooms are beautifully furnished, luxury accessories, luxury bedding and towels, air conditioning, fireplace, internet no limit, bathroom with tub and shower with turkish bath, color therapy and music.
Large continental breakfast buffet.
Takes place on Mondays at 20 meters a typical local market.

Great place to relax! I stayed in this cozy house for a week and was very pleased. The room was spacious, cozy and beautifully decorated. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay - a comfortable bed, a large window with a balcony and fresh bed linen.\n\nI was especially pleased with the delicious breakfast. Every morning a fresh croissant from the bakery across the street, fragrant coffee, yogurt, and milk were waiting for me.\n\nI would also like to note the warmth and care of the hostess. She was always ready to help with advice or recommendations to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I felt at home.\n\nIt was a wonderful experience living in this house. I was very pleased and would love to come back here again. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend a pleasant time in a cozy environment with excellent service!

Extremely kind and helpful staff. Excellent base for those with relatives hospitalized at the hospital, moreover from the balcony of the structure you have a beautiful view of Mount Etna.

I stayed at this property, for university reasons, 4 nights in January 2022 but also a couple of nights (not consecutive) in July 2021. At that time, I found this B&B at the last minute online, needing a room near the Policlinico urgently: in hindsight, never was a more appropriate choice made! The property is located 10-15 minutes' walk from the hospital, surrounded by a supermarket, a pharmacy, and a bakery within about 10 meters, and not far from urban bus stops; the rooms (I stayed in both) are spacious and roomy, with air conditioning (also warm in winter), mini-fridge, TV, numerous clothes hangers; the bathrooms are comfortable and functional; there is a kitchen available to guests, where every morning breakfast is served (rich, plentiful, based on prepackaged products and/or with a hot croissant from the bar). But the real strength, which led me to choose this property the second and third time, is the great availability, courtesy, and friendliness of Mrs. Alfonsina, always present in the property (unlike many other B&Bs in name only, where the managers are almost always absent) and always available for every guest's need. In addition, she is a great company with whom it is pleasant to converse and spend time, it is as if you have known each other forever! Together with the lady, I thank her brother Michelangelo, also very helpful for any eventuality and for any problem (he even drove me a couple of times when I had an unexpected problem), as well as a friendly and friendly person, always available by phone and in person when necessary. \nIn conclusion, I consider myself quite satisfied with B&B Selene not only for the services offered and for the convenience of its location, but above all for having met these special and big-hearted people, who made me feel like family. Thanks to them, time literally flew!

La struttura è molto bella, curata e di design. Comoda per chi ha bisogno di un posto accogliente vicino alla zona ospedaliera. L' arredamento è originale e la pulizia è ottimale. I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili e la colazione è abbondante e varia.
Ci ritornerei sicuramente.

Michelangelo e Katy sono due ragazzi davvero in gamba, il servizio e efficiente il bed and breakfast e pulito ed accogliente, conviene pernottare da loro ve lo raccomanda un sardo.

Se non sentiamo la differenza con casa nostra, se ci addormentiamo senza problemi e dormiamo tutta la notte, se ci svegliamo riposati dimenticandoci di essere in una struttura alberghiera realizzandolo solamente dopo aver acceso la luce, allora significa che i gestori hanno compiuto un eccellente lavoro. O forse più che di lavoro dovremo parlare di passione per l'ospitalità, che in molte colture antiche era di primaria importanza, e che in questo luogo è ancora presente.
Questo è ciò che ho provato soggiornando da Ketty e Michelangelo, persone che vorremo incontrare in ogni struttura nella quale approdiamo durante i nostri viaggi.
Tutto in ordine, tutto pulito. Ma soprattutto l'aspetto umano è ciò che mi ha maggiormente soddisfatto.

Ambiente molto curato e allo stesso tempo molto confortevole, Michelangelo e Ketty sono ottimi padroni di casa, premurosi e molto disponibili. davvero un soggiorno piacevole, sicuramente torneremo da loro per il nostro prossimo soggiorno! consigliatissimo!

Ho trascorso con la mia famiglia e il mio fidanzato un fine settimana a Catania e abbiamo soggiornato in questo B&B! Il proprietario, Michelangelo, è una persona gentilissima, ci ha subito accolti con cordialità e ci ha riservato due camere confortevoli.
Della pulizia delle camere se ne occupa lo stesso proprietario e devo dire che è impeccabile.
Il B&B è situato in una zona, forse una delle poche, dove non si paga il parcheggio ed è a 5 minuti dal centro.
Ottima colazione con cornetti, marmellate, merendine e per quanto riguarda i caffè o cappuccini se ne occupa sempre il proprietario.
Lo consiglio a tutti coloro che vogliono trascorrere un soggiorno rilassante, lontano dalla confusione della città.

Devo dire sinceramente che ho trovato delle persone squisite e gentilissime in Ketty e Michelangelo, come se ci conoscessimo da sempre. Mi hanno fatto sentire come fossi la persona più importante, con tante premure e sempre presenti per ogni esigenza e/o richiesta. Un ambiente familiare che non mi sarei aspettato certo di trovare. Dal punto di vista della struttura è veramente accogliente, camere luminose con vista splendida, "a muntagna" come la chiamano localmente.. Ovvero l'Etna. Cosa c'è di più bello di un risveglio con un un bellissimo quadro reale? Magari con la sommità innevata e fumacchiante? Per non parlare della cucina in cui si trova di tutto, prodotti genuini per una colazione stratosferica. Con la libertà di poterci bere anche solo un caffè e intrattenere delle amichevoli e piacevoli conversazioni con Ketty e Michelangelo. Sono rimasto meravigliato della toilette, veramente bellissima e molto pratica. In tutto questo ho apprezzato moltissimo la cura e la pulizia della struttura, veramente impeccabili. Ho trovato due persone, Ketty e Michelangelo, di una gentilezza che non facilmente si riesce a trovare in altre strutture. Mi sono ripromesso che sarei tornato da loro, vista l'accoglienza calorosa e straordinaria che mi hanno riservato in quella breve settimana che ho trascorso a Maggio 2014. Vale veramente la pena tornarci, è un consiglio per tutti. Grazie Ketty e Michelangelo.

Mi sono trovata subito a mio agio, si respira un'atmosfera molto accogliente. Ketty e Michelangelo sono molto disponibili. Le stanze sono arredate con gusto e la pulizia è uno dei punti forti della struttura.

Pregiato e ricercato l'arredamento, bagno con doccia per due e vasca idromassaggio, l'eleganza e la cura dei particolari rendono questo B&B al di sopra delle aspettative della categoria. La spontanea gentilezza della proprietaria avvolge l'ospite in un'atmosfera confortevole di familiarità. Da riproporre per altri soggiorni.

Pensavo di aver prenotato in un normale B&B e invece mi è sembrato di soggiornare in un Hotel 4 stelle! Gli ambienti sono curati in ogni particolare e la loro pulizia è quasi maniacale (da provare la doccia doppia: eccezionale). Abbondante la colazione con alimenti e prodotti di ottima qualità.

Ho soggiornato al Selene con mio marito la settimana di Natale, i proprietari Ketty E Michelangelo, ci hanno accolto con estrema cortesia e discrezione, attenti ad ogni nostra esigenza, siamo rimasti strabiliati per la pulizia estrema e per la colazione a buffet abbondante (c era di tutto), la sala da bagno con la doccia doppia fantastica! Ci torneremo senza dubbio.
Grazie di cuore, ci siamo sentiti a casa nostra.
