The B&B Santa Sofia, is located in a strategic position just a few minutes from the 'Policlinico hospital in Catania, and the Nursing and clinic Morgagni, 1 km from the clinic and nursing home Valsalva. The name Sophia given to our B&B, is due to the fact that the way Joseph Similar is actually the extension of Via Santa Sofia where the 'Policlinico hospital in Catania.
New concept in hospitality, natural fabrics such as linen and cotton, pastel colored walls form the backdrop to a shabby chic decor romantic and relaxing Villa on three floors, independent, modern style with a double blow in the head of the bed representing the ocean and nature, the other rooms shabby style.
The Elegant and spacious suite in shades of white and lilac, with living area and can add a third bed.

Although we stayed only one night, it was really disappointing. On arrival it seemed that no one had been informed: nobody knew where the keys were. The breakfast was very poor, but at least they offer a voucher for a croissant that you have to collect at the bar. During the night we were awakened several times by very loud noises (it sounded like a hammer or something similar), around 3 a.m. and again about an hour later. To conclude, at 7 a.m. there was a cat meowing on the balcony.

Rifletta anche sul fatto che dietro l' organizzazione di una struttura c'è tanto sacrificio, le critiche gratuite sono pura cattiveria... Riguardo la consegna delle chiavi, al ckeck in eravamo due persone, mentre parcheggiava all' interno davanti la struttura, mia sorella vi dava le informazioni, e vi accompagnava in camera, Le ho chiesto se aveva ritirato le chiavi in cassetta davanti al cancello, la sua risposta è stata di no, quindi ho preso le chiavi e ve le ho fatte consegnare da mia sorella, in camera, due minuti dopo, ci scusi tanto per la lunga attesa! l (nel frattempo fuori diluviava) Per la colazione, siamo sorpresi di sentire che fosse scarsa, Le saremmo grati se potesse darci qualche consiglio, nel mentre, faccio l' elenco di cio' che offriamo a persona: fette biscottate, pancake, tortina fresca confezionata tomarchio, (che prendiamo in laboratorio Tomarchio, con scadenza brevissima) nutella, marmellata, biscotto monoporzione, succo di frutta, latte per il cappuccino, caffè, una bottiglietta di acqua, e per coccolare i nostri ospiti, mettiamo a disposizione un buono per un pezzo colazione fresco da prendere al bar accanto alla struttura, (che tutti i nostri ospiti gradiscono). Ovviamente anche prodotti per celiaci o intolleranti, quando richiesto. Riguardo i rumori, il vicino si è lamentato con noi perchè ha riferito di essere stato disturbato, evidentemente non avete rispettato gli orari di silenzio (e c'eravate solo voi e i vostri bambini in struttura). I stayed at the property for work reasons (Policlinico G. Rodolico). At the time of booking I asked to have an invoice issued and sent the necessary details. At check-out I was told by phone that they would only issue a receipt. The receipt I found in the morning on the breakfast table showed the name of the company I work for without adding the name of the guest, so it was practically unusable for tax purposes (paid with a company credit card). Therefore I will be charged. On the positive side: clean, quiet and comfortable room, fairly close to my destination, with an excellent café below the building already open at 7 a.m.

I spent two days with my girlfriend at B&B Santa Sofia, a new and quiet villa furnished with taste, new and elegant furniture, in shabby style, we fell in love with every detail. Our room was a pleasant surprise with its private little garden where the kind lady Ketty served us a warm tea, a Provencal-style bed with many pillows. Cozy bathroom where nothing was missing, even the hand towel, clean scent and fragrant sheets. Available and discreet hosts. Excellent and rich breakfast, top-notch cappuccino prepared by Michelangelo, in a Provencal bistro-style kitchen, all accompanied by relaxing music. Without a doubt enthusiastic, thanks to the hosts, a sure reference point.
