Perfect for those who wish to enjoy tranquility away from the chaos and city traffic, this B&B is situated within a charming ancient farmhouse, surrounded by the countryside of Agrigento, among almond and olive trees. You will also have the opportunity to meet our friendly animals, such as peacocks, ducks, geese, and our two dogs, Juno and Mimì. The Valley of the Temples is a marvelous and evocative place recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

While visiting Agrigento for the Valley of Temples there are plenty of hotel choices. However, for the real Sicilian experience, we chose the San Marco-real Sicilian family villa, located inside the gardens, next to the Valley of Temples. We had a spectacular view of the most preserved temple from the outdoor breakfast area. Getting to the villa by narrow dirt road winding between the old stone walls is part of the fun (very bumpy but it's only about a minute's drive). What makes the stay special is the hospitality of the owner, Vincenzo, his son Salvatore, and the rest of the family. Highly recommend it for the hospitality, experience, views, breakfast, best location, and price. You may not like: the road there, the animals around if you are allergic, access to the dinner options (we bought our food and wine on the way from Scala del Turchi 20 minutes away and had a great dinner at the terrace).
