The B&B La Terra di Archimede is located in the heart of Syracuse, set in a flowery courtyard of an ancient palace. Its central location allows you to easily reach, on foot, archaeological sites and entertainment venues of particular interest. The B&B offers accommodation in bedrooms furnished with attention to detail. The rooms are equipped with a 32' TV, air conditioning, internet wifi free, heating and en-suite bathroom with hairdryer and shower.

B&B La Terra di Archimede offers to its guests breakfast with local food and homemade cakes and jams.

At guests' disposal an ample and comfortable attic.

Breakfast served in the comfortable and bright attic with a lovely terrace adjacent, is composed of sweet and savory.

The croissants filled with jam, ricotta, cream, chocolate or simply empty, are fresh in the morning bought directly in the pastry shop. In addition there is: cornflaks, oat flakes, different types of musli, biscuits, jam, honey, butter, biscuits, bread, salami, cheese, youghurt, fruit. On request: becon and eggs.

Drinks: water. milk, coffee, cappuccino, different types of teas and teas, fruit juices at will also during the course of the day.

Its central location allows you to easily walk to archaeological sites and reach places of particular interest. The beautiful Greek Theatre in the Archaeological Park of Neapolis, the Sanctuary of the Madonnina, and the catacombs of San Giovanni are just a few sites located in the immediate vicinity of the B&B. In 5 minutes, you can walk to the island of Ortigia, a true jewel of the Mediterranean Sea.

Syracuse encompasses the history, culture, and beauty of the peoples who, for centuries, have been fascinated by this land. Near the B&B is the charming landing place "lo sbarcadero", from which you can embark on boat excursions. The bus and train stations are located near the structure.

Our room was very large with a beautifully renovated bathroom. Air-conditioned room. Sweet breakfast. We had infusion and coffee. Toasted sandwich bread with homemade jam, very special and good. Yogurt. Also available are cookies, packaged croissants, cereals, and juice. The owner is a very nice and helpful lady. Always present in the morning for breakfast, she is ready to help or provide useful information if needed. Excellent quality/price ratio.

Archimede's Terra is a beautiful and very comfortable house. Teresa is a charming woman who makes you feel at home. Attentive and available, she gave us all kinds of details about what to visit in Siracusa and Ortigia, she advised us on places to eat well and at a good price. It seems easy, but it's not... to feel at home, in a protected and comfortable environment, that smells clean and fresh, where everything is in the right place, where you would want it and keep it, where even the neighborhood, in the chatter and in the daily routine, is pleasant; and what about Teresa? Kind, friendly, helpful, attentive, caring, not at all intrusive and much more, thank you Teresa for everything! P.S. the house is 5 minutes walk from Ortigia, in a quiet neighborhood away from the chaos, perfect location, I recommend it to everyone!

The property is very well positioned compared to the historic center of Syracuse. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is quite good. But what makes the structure even more welcoming is Mrs. Teresa. She explains everything to you, where to go, what to do and is always available to help. Mrs. Teresa also speaks German and English, so it's excellent for foreigners who want to visit the beauties of this land!

The B&B La Terra di Archimede is located in a quite convenient and quiet place, between the old town and the newer districts, not far from the main bus lines. The room is pleasant and we appreciated the separate and individual bathroom. The breakfasts are top-notch with a wide choice of pastries and drinks! If you stay in Syracuse, the B&B La Terra di Archimede is definitely recommended for the value for money, as well as for the convenience of the location, close to Ortigia and with easy parking. The interiors are new and of quality, the cleanliness is excellent and guests have at their disposal a 24-hour room with free computer and furnished kitchen. The breakfast is satisfying (the fresh brioches are exceptional), but typical Sicilian products are missing, only industrial packaged ones are available.
