Description
We are centrally located in one of the most famous barocco towns in Sicily, Ragusa Ibla. The fine building you have chosen for your stay in Ragusa was built in the early beginning of 19th century and has now been completely refurbished.
The building is located at the hearth of Ragusa Ibla and stands on the hill where once a medieval castle had been risen. The top floor of the building has a wonderful patio where typical lemon trees and grapes flourish.
The patio on the rooftop is the true reason we fell in love with this nice building: standing there you will be able to enjoy the most beautiful sights on the ancient town and the famous San Giorgio dome. Moreover, you will be able to enjoy breakfast there or have a drink, or simply relax while reading a book.
The bedrooms are all equipped with TV air-conditioning and a bathroom.
Nearby you can find many nice restaurants (including the renown ‘il Duomo’, rated 2 stars in the Michelin guide) to enjoy typical food.
We want to tell you nothing more but instead invite you to come see this incredible land for yourself. Hand made walls and centuries old trees make this area unique.
About 20 Km away is the blue Mediterranean sea and the golden beaches where Montalbano (from a successful TV series) used to have a swim.
We are waiting for you… and not only in summer.

A well situated B&B, 3 minutes away on foot from the Duomo. Rooms are basic, decorated almost like a monk's cell and mattresses are directly on a wooden board. However, the place is clean and you will receive a warm welcome from very nice staff. There is a small terrace / garden on the roof with a nice (partial) view of the upper part of the town. The best view you can have because I did not find a better viewpoint. Thank you very much Rosita for your welcome, it was great!

Mi dispiace che i letti non siano stati di vostro gradimento. Per quanto riguarda la colazione, cornetti, marmellate fatte in casa, torte fatte in casa, muffin fatti in casa, yogurt, frutta di stagione, arance e mandarini biologici...più di questo non so cosa possa esserci per essere una colazione ricca .

This is outstanding. The host's kindness and care are outstanding. I felt very relaxed during the stay. Thank you very much. Just one thing, the Lemon room where I stayed does not have wifi. Please make improvements like installing a repeater. However, such a minor issue should not affect the rating.

L'orto sul tetto è la struttura che ti fa sentire a casa, grazie anche alle persone che lo gestiscono, super simpatiche e disponibili.
Ottima la sua posizione, a due passi dal centro e dalla bellissima cattedrale di San Giorgio, visibile già dal b&b.
La terrazza è la ciliegina sulla torta della struttura, vista sui tetti, sulla cupola della cattedrale e su Ragusa, tutto ciò al mattino ti da la carica giusta.
Colazione abbondante e fatta in casa, una vera prelibatezza.
Un posto che rimane nel cuore sempre

Tutto perfetto! Scelta ottima per visitare Ibla e per godersi un po' di relax. Stanza spaziosa e pulita, colazione abbondante in una terrazza che è veramente un piccolo meraviglioso orto. Rosita disponibilissima e simpaticissima.

L'Orto sul tetto è un angolo di raffinatezza e di buon gusto nel cuore di Ragusa Ibla. La casa è davvero bella, a cominciare dai pavimenti in pietra pece, la pietra di Ragusa che è difficile vedere altrove, in un susseguirsi di angoli e angolini estremamente gradevoli. La camera in cui sono stata è silenziosa, spaziosa e ben arredata, con grande cura dei dettagli, dagli interruttori elettrici (riproduzioni!) d'epoca alla biancheria da letto. Bellissimo lo spazio sul tetto in cui si fa colazione, e che colazione! Non ho provato le varie brioches proposte in abbondanza, in compenso ho molto apprezzato, tra le varie, le marmellate al mandarino e al gelso nero, il pane fresco e il cake fatto in casa a mele e cannella. C'è anche una buona scelta di te.
Al tutto si aggiungono la professionalità, la gentilezza e il garbo del proprietario. Insomma, non avrei potuto trovare un posto migliore dove stare a Ragusa!
