Description

B&B L'elefante is located in the historical centre, in the hearth of the shopping and of the business and financial area (shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes, pizzas, historical open air markets, public transport) and the mostimportant places of Catania: Cathedral, Stesicoro's Square, Massimo Bellini Theatre, Greek Amphitheatre, Ursino Castle, Crociferi Street, Bellini Garden, the archaeological areas, etc.

Easy rereachable by bus from the airport, the railway station, the bus station and the port. Close to the entrance you can get the shuttle from and to the airport and there is the bus-stop to the main directions (Universities, Trade Centre "Le Ciminiere", hospitals, seaside, etc.).

The location assures every comfort for guests both travelling for business and for leisure. By night you can walk around and take part to the movida, eating in restaurants and pizzas, hearing music in the pubs or in open air cafè concerto.

Just restored and refurnished, it is provided by a large brekfast room and three very comfortable bedrooms, all with ensuite facilities, heating, air conditioning, private bath-room, hair-dryer, TV. You can choose from single, double, twin and triple rooms. Cleaning and bath linen every day. Continental breakfast on buffet is served in a large dining-room.

We stayed a few days at B&B L'Elefante and could not have made a better choice. Andrea was an exceptional host: always helpful, attentive and ready to assist us at any time, making us truly feel at home. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Catania, ideal for exploring the whole city on foot. The room is comfortable and very clean. Another great strength is the breakfast: very varied, plentiful and always prepared, allowing us to start the day whenever we wanted, without time constraints. It was a fantastic experience and, if we return to Catania, we will definitely choose B&B L'Elefante again. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Andrea!

Absolutely recommended. The landlord is excellent, very helpful and kind. He even picked us up from the airport. :) The location couldn't be better! Everything is within walking distance.

Excellent structure in a strategic location on the central street of Catania. (Via Etnea). Excellent cleanliness. Very quiet. Room of good size. View with a small balcony overlooking the pedestrian street. The owner is very helpful. We were able to leave our luggage in the structure after check-out time. The directions he provided were also very helpful.

The owner Mr. Andrea was very helpful and gave us a lot of advice. The B&B is very close to the bus stop from the airport (2 minutes walk) and is located in the center of Via Etna, so it is very convenient to go anywhere. Even though it is located on the street, it was quiet because of the double glazed windows. The bathroom was new, clean and perfectly fine. Breakfast was satisfying enough with plenty of bread and cakes available. (It was a surprise for us that we could eat there 24/7, not only at breakfast time!) We highly recommend this B&B.

The B&B is located in the city center and the rooms overlook via Etnea (the shopping street). You can walk to all the main attractions in Catania and you are in the shopping area. There are many restaurants and bars nearby as well as pharmacies and supermarkets. The manager is very helpful and easygoing. The Alibus stop to and from the airport is right in front of the building exit. The room is as shown in the photos on the website and is equipped with the necessary amenities as well as a minibar for an extra charge. The breakfast is good and is "self-managed": all the (good) products are available to guests who can take care of it independently, managing the timings as well.
