Description
Being hospitable has traditionally been a character of the Sicilian population and this sense of hospitality has induced us to open this new bed and breakfast: Kemonia, a warm and friendly house open to anyone who wants to experience Palermo.

Certain of the fact that our country will be loved by all who come here, we would like to guide you through the naturalistic and architectural gems of Palermo which will take you back in time and enable you to savour those ancient civilizations by which Palermo has been so deeply marked.

The rooms are extremely comfortable, spacious and well illuminated with two of them having access to a lovely balcony. All the rooms have the private bathroom opposite them.

Whilst relaxing in the dining room, you will be able to use our brochures to discover the obvious, as well as the unusual, sights to see in Palermo.

We want to not only provide you with a friendly and relaxing place to stay but also with helpful and precious advice. As a tourist, it is not always easy to know where and where not to go, but at Kemonia, we will ensure that you don’t have to work it all out by yourself!

Conditions

Cancellation conditions (except for non-refundable rates)

You may cancel your booking up to 7 days before the check-in date. In the case of failure to show or late cancellation, you will be charged a penalty of 100% of the total cost of the booking

Payment terms

Balance to be paid at check-in
For non-refundable discounted rates, when the facility requires it, the guest must pay in advance as indicated to complete the booking. Payment is not refunded in the event of a cancellation.

Rules of the house

Check-in from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Check-out before 10:00 AM- If you're late you may be charged for an extra night
For a booking including breakfast, breakfast is served from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM
Municipal tax of €1.50 per person per night is applicable up to 4 consecutive days maximum. Children aged under 10 do not pay municipal tax
Fresh towels every 2 days
Fresh sheets every 3 days
Extra towel changes, if requested, cost €3.00
Extra sheet changes, if requested, cost €5.00
Rooms are cleaned every 1 days. To allow staff to clean, we recommend leaving the room at 11:00 AM
Final cleaning is included in the price
Extra room cleaning is available at a cost of €5.00
No meal preparation allowed in rooms

We are situated in the historical centre of Palermo on Via Nicolò Turrisi, 38/b.

From this central location, you can easily reach the Massimo and the Politeama theatre by foot.

If you fancy it you could also dive into the folk district of Capo, by going through the Porta Carini (the oldest of the three gates that stand alongside the northern side of the city).

The Cathedral, The Royal Palace, the Chapel of Hermits and the Square of Independence are just some examples of the historical places that are to be found around this area and are all well worth a visit.

Il gestore, ha da sempre mostrato cordialità, gentilezza, comprensione, disponibilità. Le condizioni concordate già inizialmente al telefono prima della conferma di prenotazione, sono state rispettate. L'ambiente è silenzioso, comodo, pratico. Tutto molto pulito, preciso, accogliente. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura per chi voglia trascorrere una vacanza o altro nella meravigliosa Palermo, perché B&B Kemonia, si trova a pochi passi dal Teatro Massimo.

Ci siamo trovati veramente bene al kemonia, la posizione è centrale e sicura avendo fronte il tribunale e caserma. Ottima la pulizia nelle camere che sono molto confortevoli. Grazie alla disponibilità del proprietario è come sentirsi a casa.

Scrivere questa recensione è più che un piacere. Ho soggiornato con mia sorella di recente in questa struttura e oltre a poter confermare l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo devo aggiungere che il gestore è accogliente, gentile, disponibile, accorto a qualsiasi bisogno. Infatti dato il clima caldo della città e della stagione abbiamo trovato ogni mattina una bottiglia d'acqua disponibile nella nostra camera. Inoltre data la sua posizione centrale si può godere di un modesto panorama e di una piacevole tranquillità.

Une chambre vaste et une salle de bain privative, toutes deux d'une propreté exemplaire. Un petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Riccardo est d'une très grande disponibilité et toujours de bon conseil. Proche de tout ce qùil y a à voir à Palerme. A recommander.

Abbiamo soggiornato al Kemonia dal 3 all'11 agosto. Il gestore, Riccardo, è stato gentilissimo, e disponibilissimo ad esaudire ogni richiesta ed esigenza. L'atmosfera è stata confortevole e familiare al massimo. I cornetti della colazione erano caldi di pasticceria, e marmellate e yogurt seguivano ogni mattina le nostre preferenze. La posizione del B&B è comodissima per raggiungere il centro storico: letteralmente a due passi dal mercato del Capo, in cinque minuti a piedi si raggiunge la Cattedrale. Consigliatissimo.
