Description

Being hospitable has traditionally been a character of the Sicilian population and this sense of hospitality has induced us to open this new bed and breakfast: Kemonia, a warm and friendly house open to anyone who wants to experience Palermo.

Certain of the fact that our country will be loved by all who come here, we would like to guide you through the naturalistic and architectural gems of Palermo which will take you back in time and enable you to savour those ancient civilizations by which Palermo has been so deeply marked.

The rooms are extremely comfortable, spacious and well illuminated with two of them having access to a lovely balcony. All the rooms have the private bathroom opposite them.

Whilst relaxing in the dining room, you will be able to use our brochures to discover the obvious, as well as the unusual, sights to see in Palermo.

We want to not only provide you with a friendly and relaxing place to stay but also with helpful and precious advice. As a tourist, it is not always easy to know where and where not to go, but at Kemonia, we will ensure that you don’t have to work it all out by yourself!

We are situated in the historical centre of Palermo on Via Nicolò Turrisi, 38/b.

From this central location, you can easily reach the Massimo and the Politeama theatre by foot.

If you fancy it you could also dive into the folk district of Capo, by going through the Porta Carini (the oldest of the three gates that stand alongside the northern side of the city).

The Cathedral, The Royal Palace, the Chapel of Hermits and the Square of Independence are just some examples of the historical places that are to be found around this area and are all well worth a visit.

Perfection exists: very clean rooms, excellent breakfast, great location, a 10-minute walk and you find yourself on Via Maqueda. The owner is exceptionally kind. I will definitely return.

I recently stayed at this property with my sister and besides being able to confirm the excellent value for money, I must add that the manager is welcoming, kind, helpful, attentive to every need. In fact, given the hot climate of the city and the season, we found a bottle of water available in our room every morning.
