Being hospitable has traditionally been a character of the Sicilian population and this sense of hospitality has induced us to open this new bed and breakfast: Kemonia, a warm and friendly house open to anyone who wants to experience Palermo.
Certain of the fact that our country will be loved by all who come here, we would like to guide you through the naturalistic and architectural gems of Palermo which will take you back in time and enable you to savour those ancient civilizations by which Palermo has been so deeply marked.
The rooms are extremely comfortable, spacious and well illuminated with two of them having access to a lovely balcony. All the rooms have the private bathroom opposite them.
Whilst relaxing in the dining room, you will be able to use our brochures to discover the obvious, as well as the unusual, sights to see in Palermo.
We want to not only provide you with a friendly and relaxing place to stay but also with helpful and precious advice. As a tourist, it is not always easy to know where and where not to go, but at Kemonia, we will ensure that you don’t have to work it all out by yourself!

If you fancy it you could also dive into the folk district of Capo, by going through the Porta Carini (the oldest of the three gates that stand alongside the northern side of the city).
The Cathedral, The Royal Palace, the Chapel of Hermits and the Square of Independence are just some examples of the historical places that are to be found around this area and are all well worth a visit.

Riccardo is a friendly and helpful host, but always very discreet. The room and bathroom are well equipped and very clean. The breakfast offers a sufficient selection. The location makes it possible to visit the old town and many sights on foot.

Excellent facility. Clean, spacious room and bathroom. Kind and helpful manager. We stayed for 5 nights and every evening felt like coming home. Private little balcony. Noisy but the facility has double glazing so it's comfortable. Absolutely recommended!

Everything was perfect at B&B Kemonia **: the apartment, impeccable, the private bathroom, the view of the mountains from the balcony, but above all the 3-star welcome from the owner, who gave me great tips on Palermo and advice for sightseeing and transportation.

The manager has always shown cordiality, kindness, understanding, availability. The conditions agreed upon initially over the phone before the booking confirmation have been respected. The environment is quiet, comfortable, practical. Everything very clean, precise, welcoming. I highly recommend this property for those who want to spend a holiday or something else in the wonderful Palermo, because B&B Kemonia is located a few steps from the Teatro Massimo.

We really enjoyed our stay at B&B Kemonia, the location is central and safe facing the courthouse and barracks. Excellent cleanliness in the rooms which are very comfortable. Thanks to the owner's availability, it feels like home.

Writing this review is more than a pleasure. I recently stayed at this property with my sister and besides being able to confirm the excellent value for money, I must add that the manager is welcoming, kind, helpful, attentive to every need. In fact, given the hot climate of the city and the season, we found a bottle of water available in our room every morning. Furthermore, due to its central location, you can enjoy a modest view and a pleasant tranquility.

We stayed at B&B Kemonia from 3rd to 11th August.\n\nThe manager, Riccardo, was very kind and extremely helpful in fulfilling every request and need. The atmosphere was comfortable and very familiar. The croissants for breakfast were freshly baked, and jams and yogurt followed our preferences every morning.\n\nThe location of the B&B is very convenient to reach the historic center: literally steps away from the Capo market, in five minutes on foot you reach the Cathedral.\n\nHighly recommended.
