Description

Relax in the hills just a stone's throw away from the sea.

B&B Gàttina is located in the hills, about 400 meters above sea level in the Gàttina district, 1.5 km from the center of Naso and a 10-15 minute drive from both the town centers of Capo d'Orlando and Brolo.

The beach of Ponte Naso is only 5 minutes away from our property. It's a free beach equipped with showers, little known to most but ideal for those who appreciate tranquility while enjoying the panoramic view of the Aeolian Islands. These islands can be reached by fast motorboat with daily departures from the port of Capo d'Orlando, which is 10 minutes away by car. (Note: July 2020 departures only from Milazzo - August scheduled. Tickets can be purchased at our property).

Our B&B is located in a central position that allows you to reach unique places, such as Mount Etna and the Alcantara Gorges, charming mountain and seaside villages such as Floresta, Nebrodi Park (40 min), Montalbano Elicona (45 min.), S. Marco d'Alunzio (20 Min.), Taormina (one hour), Cefalù (one hour), just to name a few, with a maximum travel time of about an hour and a half.

Breakfast is typically served from 7:30 to 9:00 with the possibility, if necessary, of other times to be agreed upon with the management. In addition to packaged products, homemade cakes, cookies, and jams are served. Depending on the season and availability, pomegranate or orange juice, as well as seasonal fruit from our trees, are also served. Upon request, a savory breakfast is served.

My name is Daniela and I was born and raised in Palermo. When I met my husband Carmelo, I found out that he shared the same dream as me: to open a B&B. The dream stayed in a drawer until we arrived here in Naso and we were struck by this place, so isolated in the countryside but at the same time close to the sea that I love and couldn't do without, and in a central position compared to the many villages that are located in the Nebrodi Park. I didn't hesitate to leave Palermo to live here, in the district of Gàttina. I love this place and I would like to share its beauty and uniqueness with as many people as possible. The B&B is surrounded by 6000 square meters of land with olive trees, plums, apricots, figs, mulberries, and citrus fruits. Coming from the city, you can understand how much I appreciate the genuineness of all these products that I now have the pleasure of sharing with my guests: fresh fruit for breakfast and citrus jams.
