Located in Via Gorizia (corner Via Roma) less than 100m from the central station, our B&B is located within the Palace Rutelli (designed by architect Ernesto Basile). It is a simple and pleasant place to stay due to the courtesy and helpfulness of its owners.
The central station is very close to the B&B and it facilitates the comfortable moving through public bus and subway in the city and toward the airport Falcone - Borsellino which is also approachable by the bus "Prestia & Comandè". B&B 's location facilitates the visit of many monuments and buildings of historical interest in Palermo.
Specifically, it is easy to visit Vuccinia Market and the Magestic Theatre, Massimo (also designed by Ernesto Basile), and subsequently Piazza Castelnuovo, to admire the elegant Teatro Politeama Garibaldi.
Along the road near Lincoln, you can visit the splendid botanic garden and the garden of Villa Giulia (next to the waterfront of Foro Italico).
The B&B is located on the 3rd floor and served by a lift. The rooms, bright and high (some with balconies) are equipped with several amenities: private bathroom with hairdryer, a set of personal hygiene, television with DVD player, air conditioning, internet (cable or wireless).
The breakfast (incl. to the room price) is typically Italian, normally served between 7:30 and 9:30. Moreover we can help your traveling around the city as we can provide you maps and tourist brochures of Palermo and Sicily.

Le critère principal du choix du B&B Castiglia est sa situation proche de la gare. Cet établissement a l'avantage d'être situé dans le même immeuble que les propriétaires toujours disponibles et à l'écoute.
Deux seuls bémols:
- La rumeur palermitaine passe largement au travers de la grande porte fenêtre bois équipée de simple vitrage.
- Il ne faut pas considérer ce logement faisant partie d'un B&B, puisque le petit déjeuné ne fait pas partie de la prestation, mais cela était précisé lors de la réservation. Il serait tout de même judicieux de rebaptiser l'établissement.

El Castiglia es un lugar genial para quedar unas noches, esta cerca de todo, la vida nocturna, el centro histórico, a los museos. Los encargados son muy atentos con todas las necesidades. Giuseppe fue muy amable, y gentil.

Abbastanza vicina al centro e a due passi dalla stazione centrale. La casa è grande, ben arredata con mobili nuovi e soprattutto molto pulita (a parte le piastrelle della doccia annerite, ma li la colpa è delle piastrelle a mosaico in voga qualche anno fa). Gabriella è disponibilissima e gentile! Struttura consigliatissima.

Posizione strategica vicino alla stazione centrale e a pochi minuti dal centro. Nei pressi supermercato, farmacia, bar e varie rosticcerie. Camere pulite, confortevoli e silenziose considerato il traffico sottostante. Giuseppe è un ottimo ospite, discreto ma sempre a disposizione del cliente. Ci ha accolto con cordialità dandoci subito preziosi consigli logistici e ha provveduto a qualsiasi nostra esigenza, fornendoci ad esempio un ombrellone per andare al mare e un ombrello per una delle rare giornate di pioggia di Palermo. Abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema con lo scarico che lui ha tempestivamente risolto. È un'ottima soluzione per visitare Palermo, a piedi o con i mezzi pubblici evitando i costi del noleggio di un'automobile.
Lo consigliamo assolutamente.

Struttura in linea con le stelle. Unica pecca, la camera che avevamo sulla strada, nn aveva vetri insonorizzati, quindi si sentiva praticamente tutto. Sembrava di essere in strada. Per il resto siamo rimasti molto contenti, i proprietari disponibilissimi e molto cordiali.
