Description

The B&B "Al Teatro Greco" has been renovated in 2022 with a mix of marble and parquet flooring. It consists of four double rooms and one triple room, all air-conditioned. Inside the rooms, you will have at your disposal a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, a hairdryer, soaps, and an electric kettle.

We are located in the central point of Syracuse (defined by Cicero as "the largest and most beautiful Greek city"), right in front of the Archaeological Park of Neapolis. A stone's throw away is the famous Greek Theatre, a place of inestimable value that attracts thousands of tourists every year for its Classical Performances, also known as Greek Tragedies. But not only that: you can reach all the other main attractions such as Ortigia, Fontane Bianche, the Plemmirio Nature Reserve and many other typical places of the area just a few kilometers away.

Comfortable bed, air conditioning worked well, but we found poor hygiene and general cleanliness. The entire shower arm and the sanitary controls should be replaced immediately. In addition, the electric kettle was rusty and possibly never cleaned, which is unacceptable. Breakfast should be offered at another affiliated café. We recommend that the host show greater empathy toward guests.

A seguito di verifiche non risulta nessuna mancanza di igiene generale. La sua percezione di pulizia non rispecchia la realtà oggettiva dei fatti, anche perché le recensioni raccontano una realtà ben diversa. La colazione al nostro bar convenzionato viene servita in uno dei migliori bar della zona ed è apprezzatissima dagli ospiti, per cui il consiglio di cambiare bar è del tutto immotivato. Inoltre, mi chiedo come mai l'ospite mi abbia bloccato preventivamente il giorno del checkout, senza nessun motivo. Insomma, la dice lunga.

Located near the Greek Theatre and in an area well connected for getting around. Nice and clean room. A few small improvements would make it perfect, but otherwise nothing to complain about. The owner is helpful and always reachable. I highly recommend it.

The structure is new and clean. The room is spacious and has everything that was needed. The location is excellent for arriving by car, close to the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Lacrime and the Neapolis Archaeological Park, perhaps a bit far from the city center. Overall, a great experience.

The structure seems new, central location. It is somewhat lacking in maintenance. If there were a drying rack on the balcony, it would be appreciated to dry swimsuits and towels. A list of places to have lunch or dinner at the entrance could be helpful.

We booked for one night at the price of 100 euros. Unfortunately, the shower had broken doors. While trying to close it, the door remained in my hand. Moreover, we only had one roll of toilet paper, already opened. The bidet was not installed in the floor. The walls and windows were not soundproofed, in fact, the room overlooked the main street. Luckily, the bed was comfortable and the location was decent.

Great location for those of us who had to go to a concert at the Greek Theater, very close. The person who welcomed us, Fabrizio, proved attentive to our needs and always available, as well as very polite, which is not so obvious. If we were to return to Syracuse, I would definitely stay there again.

The structure is brand new and very clean. We were treated well. The guys are kind, friendly, and helpful. The bed and breakfast is a stone's throw from the Greek Theater and, if desired, with a nice walk, you can reach Ortigia (we did it and it was very pleasant). I recommend it.
