Description
BAD is the first designer Bed & Breakfast in the heart of Catania. Much more than a simple B&B, it is a unique mix of hospitality and creativity, ideal for both those travelling for pleasure and for business. It unites the fascinating Catanese baroque architecture with contemporary art and design.

At BAD one breathes the creativity of Giulia and Alessandro, the two owners and curators. Professionals in the world of advertising and graphic design, they have expertly created within the ample and comfortable rooms different ambiences, exhibiting psychedelic wallpapers, amazing 19th Century Sicilian artifacts, vintage furniture and works of young aspiring artists.

Every room of the B&B in fact has a different mood, colour and feeling, with two or three beds, private bathroom and naturally all the comforts you would expect.

Because BAD is more than a sleeping experience.

Conditions

Cancellation conditions (except for non-refundable rates)

You may cancel your booking up to 3 days before the check-in date. In the case of failure to show or late cancellation, you will be charged a penalty of 100% of the total cost of the booking

Payment terms

Balance to be paid at check-in
For non-refundable discounted rates, when the facility requires it, the guest must pay in advance as indicated to complete the booking. Payment is not refunded in the event of a cancellation.

Check-out before 11:00 AM
For a booking including breakfast, breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM
Municipal tax of €2.00 per person per night is applicable up to 4 consecutive days maximum. Children aged under 16 do not pay municipal tax
Fresh towels every 2 days
Fresh sheets every 5 days
Rooms are cleaned every 1 days. To allow staff to clean, we recommend leaving the room at 10:00 AM
Final cleaning is included in the price
No meal preparation allowed in rooms
No guests allowed in rooms

Other notes

Check-in time: we haven't a 24h Reception service. It is therefore mandatory to provide arrival time at the hotel.
We reserve the possibility to provide for a different room but equivalent to the one booked in order to optimize the occupation.

BAD is in the beating heart of Catania: in a XIX century building, next to the historical fish market “la Pescheria” and within a stone’s throw of the Cathedral and main monuments of the city. Furthermore BAD is only a few minutes away from the airport, the train station and the port, and just 100 meters from a bus station which connects to other main Sicilian resorts.

A 5 min d'une des places historiques de la ville et d'une gare routière, accueil toujours impeccable avec beaucoup de facilité pour arriver et quitter la chambre. Chambres propres au décors originaux. Tout cela invite à revenir souvent pour visiter Catane et ses environs ou pour faire une halte entre l'aéroport et les Iles éoliennes.

Alloggio spazioso e pulito, esattamente come descritto. Posizione stratosferica a due-passi-due dal mercato del pesce e quindi da Piazza Duomo. Titolare molto gentile, disponibile e preparato. Consiglio.

Ottima posizione, personale cordiale, belle stanze (la stanza numero 2 ha una doccia fantastica!). La colazione è servita in un bar in piazza Duomo a poca distanza dal B&B.

La caratteristica principale di questo B&B, al di là dell'arredamento particolare, è la posizione strategica e tranquillissima, a due passi dal centro storico e di fronte al mercato del pesce, inoltre le persone che vi accoglieranno sono veramente gentili e disponibili pronte a rispondere ad ogni vostra domanda e a risolvere ogni problema. La struttura è pulitissima! l'unica pecca i bagni.
